If we had any at any decent times (ie not 4am in the morning) I'd probably do the exact same.

Exactly! It's funny because my whole family will stand on the porch to watch one. XDD

It just isn't fair is it...a good lightening storm is awesome.

Hehe, well last year we had a semi green winter. As far as weather goes, we get the normal. We live surrounded by mountains so good lightening storms are rare.

now I'm envious. I love the cold weather. It's December and its 43 degrees right now(way too hot for my liking). I love snow, and we haven't had a really good snow fall for years. Summer got about 70ish(35-40ish celsius, I'm bad at the conversions) or so here this year.

Georgetown(the city I live in) is like anti-weather zone. We got like half and inch of snow the other day, not much changed. It just dumped snow on all the places around us. We never get the weather that places around us get.

We get a lot of Canadians in the winter here for skiing. XD If our summers were actually warm, I'd do a lot more swimming. But sadly all we get is brutal winters.

wow..almost similar to around here. We've got a creak and a couple swimming places in the area, not to mention Canada's Wonderland about 30 minutes away.

Eh we have some fun things where I live. I live surrounded by lakes, so swimming is always an option during the summer. Plus the World's Largest Arcade is near by. But other than that you have to travel south or leave the state to find anything interesting.

Yeah, honestly I find more interesting people online than where I live. Plus talking to people who share common interest is the best. It's hard finding that where I live.

Where I live is pretty small too(I think), all of the bigger cities, surround us, and you have to go to them if you want to do anything fun. Bigger then where my Dad lives though, his place has a whole one set of traffic lights.

Probably a good excuse for being on the RT site...you meet tons of different people here. Personally met several of them in real life...and they are certainly an interesting group of people.

Tis true. I think it also depends on where you live. I live in a small city, so meeting new and exciting people isn't very common.

The story of life. It always amazes me when I listen to the RT Podcast and they always have these weird and awesome life stories they tell. I always think to myself, how do I get a life that interesting?
But hey, sometimes routines and patterns are good. Sometimes the unexpected don't always turn out well but in the end its all about the good and the bad.

So true. It's either work or home. Adult life follows patterns huh? Heh.

Don't worry..your not alone in that. My life has basically become the same old routine day after day. You try to change things, but the basic routine always seems to take over again.

Well I never thought of that. Honestly though my life is very uneventful.

So claiming your the most uninteresting person in the world, and then comparing yourself too the grass growing network...I don't know, that grass growing network is pretty darn entertaining. All that action, the life and death struggle of the blade of grass forcing itself out of the oppressive soil keeping it buried from it's true potential...interesting stuff I tell ya

So Pick eh...how did that name come about?
