Just got home. Flight was tolerable. A little turbulence, and once again I was sat behind an immediate-seat-reclining douchebag. Also I have not slept and my body has no idea what it is supposed to be doing.

As many others have said and will say, RvBTO was fabulous. Thank you all so, so much for your company and your enduring and endearing spirit. You guys are the best.

      I need a nap.

Well, yesterday was a bloody long day. I drove a big van and hefted furniture (+ man points) and got lost in Honicknowle, where we refused to stop for fear of hearing the first bar of duelling banjos ( - man points).

Got my room reasonably well organised now and thought I'd share a photo or six.

I'm not sure I've really been keeping you guys up to date on what's going on with me (if such things are even of interest!), but I thought I'd let you know I am finally moving out of my parents' house next Tuesday! I'm moving into a rather spiffy house in Plymouth with two good friends of mine. We're paying the deposit and getting the keys on Monday and I have Tuesday off - we've hired a bloody great van to transport everything. Only now am I coming to realise how much stuff I have.

Will keep you posted on how it goes. EXPECT PICTURES!

So I always intended to update this regularly but got out of the habit. It's a shoddy little thing but I rather like it. It's an interesting timeline of my life here at Rooster Teeth, updated today for the first time since 2008.

      Freaky, huh?

You staying up that late for it? Or just getting up early [which is what I've had to do lately]

Given the time difference I wasn't going to try, but if you're with me on this I might be able to...

It's just funny because a good friend of mine asked me yesterday "When is it that things will finally start clicking?"

I said something along the lines of: "You know - the fact that you're standing in front of me, speaking, seeing, breathing, ALIVE - is a pretty great miracle as it is. I think things are clicking as we speak."

Which sort of reminds me of the big existentialist speech of Dr. Manhattan. . . but I'm getting off point here.

The point is that your journal snapped me back to her question of yesterday, and I am only that much more reassured that really. . . there's nothing we should have to wait for at all. It's all here now. To do what you will with. Unless of course, you’re waiting for something tangible – like lunch to start. smiley8.gif

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson never worked with Blue Oyster Cult (this has caused a lot of confusion).

The Bruce Dickinson that Christopher Walken portrayed was a low/mid-level producer that did work on a reissue CD and never had anything to do with "(Don't Fear) The Reaper)".

It actually made a really good joke.

I think it's just laptop issues in general. Explorer is even having problems.

With Firefox, it loads pages about 5 or 6 of every 10 times for me. It's gotten so common that I honestly expect to get "Cannot load page _____. Are you sure you typed it in correctly?" messages every time I surf.

Don't... want... to go back... to IE... nooooo...

Think about it.. after shirtlessly being chased down by a dozen guys with big, jagged swords, his hair still looks fabulous.

And have you ever seen the animated series that was on the Disney channel back in the day? Some of those villains were like the cartoon version of B-rated horror movie monsters. Totally metal.

No shredding necessary, it would really just be chords. The song is 'Martha My Dear' by the Beatles. I could do it, but all I have is the acoustic, and it just doesn't sound right. Plus, I think it would be fun to get as many different people involved as possible.

It was either do a video journal of the apartment, or make an apartment mosaic in photoshop, attaching a bunch of pics together, since it's too small here to stand back and get a decent shot of any of the rooms. The video was much easier.

A friend back home has suggested I download a codex (codec? I don't remember...) whatsamathingy so that the CD I have it on will play. Right now all I can do with it is listen to a lot of Korean gibberish. Not very thrilling.

I look retarded. Seriously. KBS could not have made me look more silly--my kids wouldn't quit bringing up the gimchi making scene and would only stop talking about it when I put my head on my desk and then covered my ears with my hands. And they only stopped talking about it because they were laughing.

I think you need to get some bs degree and get your bum out here. We'd have a blast. smiley0.gif

Oh, I know. It's also going to get continually more difficult to think of interesting things to do for the videos. If you look back and watch all the videos in order from the beginning, it's really amazing to see how much people have progressed in the last nine months since AOIO took off.
