Yeah... I bought my XD off mostly recommendation, but once I put it in my hand, I knew I would love it. I recommend gong to a range that rents guns. The XD and M&P are popular enough (and Texas is crazy enough) you should be able to find a range that will let you take both for a spin. You're the only one that can choose the one you like the best...

I personally can't stand the Glock. Think they feel like a brick, hence the name. They are the most reliable out there, closely contested by the XD. 1911 is finicky from time to time depending on magazine, but usually not too bad.

Composite lower, just like a Glock. 13+1 in .45 ACP with the standard mag. I THINK they make an extended mag that makes it 15+1.... not that it would be necessary.

It's like muscle memory for your brain. At least its engineering technology and not regular engineering, which would of required cal1-3 and differential and linear equations. If not more.

Lolz I thought about bringing the old carb from the truck but I didn't feel like explaining how carbs work to my class. I dumbed down diverter valves fairly easily.

I was keeping track of the problem on Motorola's site. Turns out it was a server error on Motorola's end. It was fixed earlier this week.

    • burgundy

Yeah, but I am not sure how much longer i can be on unemployment. I am taking so many credits in school next semester, it might disqualify me. Plus, I only qualified for a total of $7 in unemployment benefits, and I am getting close to exhausting that, I think.

    • burgundy

No no, I would make more money on unemployment than I would with a job, unless I was working 25-30 hrs a wk at $10+, which neither are likely to happen at radio shack.

Yea UTA will probably have it, the problem will be if they threw a bunch of pre-req's in front of it since the new system doesn't even allow advisors to bypass pre-req's.

    • maverickgtr

I was thinking about it actually since you seemed to enjoy it. Haha do you know what the course number is at CCCC? I know they have a course like that at TCC but Idk about UTA but I don't know which department to look under.

Jordan has Rock Band 3 with the keyboard and said he'll play it with you if you come over. He also says you should get the pro guitar.

    • stlranger

yeah. that steering stabilizer. After tires I think I'll get some new Rancho shocks to put on there. The ones that I've got now look to be original and at 60,000 miles, I think they're due for a replacement.

Just trying to keep the test drive threads clear for people who are actually looking for something.

I've checked the driveline. No bad u-joints in either the front or rear. Hubs are unlocked and axles rotate free. Hubs are all tight and so are the ball joints. I'm pretty sure its tires. Tires are some off-brand and there's some funky wear to the steers. I'm goin to get some new tires pretty soon hopefully. That should clear it up. If it doesn't, I'm going to look into the suspension. I don't feel it so much in the steering wheel, but it does have a steering stabilizer on the cross-tube.

The class ring is $550 without a discount. Kinda sucks for a college student... haha invites/announcements are pretty much required and my mom will want me to get them but I priced them out and they're expensive too. Why are they trying to get all this money out of poor college students?! haha

...and one more thing, I don't think this is the best idea ever but just something that first popped into my head, I dunno if you'd wanna dedicate a portion of flesh to your lushy'ness lol. If so listen to the song by gogol bordello - alcohol. It's right up your ally. lol

i dunno if you'd want this as a tattoo but maybe have a bottle of your fav liquor, maybe bottle of jack but on the logo it says Snide in the bottle's font type.

Then again I don't think you'd want this as a tattoo, but also I don't things are very tattoo worthy or haven't found something that is permanent on your skin worthy yet.

I've thought about LASIC but I've heard horror stories about it. I've heard of some people going in and their vision end up being worse. That, and I don't think my insurance would pay for it. Its a voluntary procedure I believe. Insurance will pay for corrective lenses, whether they be glasses (which I hate) or contacts. Thing is, they'll only pay for $120 a year. And it doesn't roll-over. So I can't wait three years and get $360 glasses.

Thanks. I mean, its been a bit of a blessing in disguise, but then again, its a hindrance. It has made me realize that I am better off not working so much through school, and that maybe right now having a nice car isn't in the cards. But, it also makes me apprehensive to moving anywhere for college, and trying to find a new job, and stuff like that.

I know it will get better, I just wish my body would get better, and I could get moving on with my life. If my back was better, it would make moving on in other aspects just that much easier.
