So was reading a new Deadpool comic when I noticed Halo weapons. For any of you that read Deadpool. In the issue were he abandons the wild card job in Vegas and buys a burrito at a convenience store only to realize that the owner of the store is a terrorist and has weapons under the store, look closely at the weapons. On the wall there are spartan lazers battle rifles and magnums and on the table there are rocket launchers and a sniper rifle. All in Halo 3 fashion.

Did you ever wonder if we as a society where becoming trapped by or electronics? Do you ever wish the world was a bigger place again? I know right now if i didn't own a computer or an xbox or a tv id probably be out building thingts right now. Id spend my money on tools and books (not that i don't already spend a small portion, mostly on books at that). I've always wanted to build a table, but that would be hard work and i do that at work all day long. why should i when i can just sit on the couch and watch movies or play video games. I dunno what im going to do with these feelings but i feel like in order to not fall back id have to remove as much temptation from my path as i possibly could. I guess we will see where this goes.

Error E-74 looks like im going to have to send in my Halo Special Edition Xbox 360 to get fixed.
I checked and it wasn't a problem with my AV cable so it must be a problem with some chip.
I am sad this is the only thing keeping me from stressing about exams, whatever will i do.

Please post any entertaining Novels in the apocolyptic or post - apocolyptic genres that you have found to be a good read.

I enjoyed Dies the Fire and The Sunrise Lands. Both are the starting novel in trilogies by S.M. Stirling

Alas Babylon by Pat Frank. A story about what if Nukes had of been launched during the Cold War.

Also you may want to mention any books that you did not find to be all that good.

I did not care for Oryx and Crake by Margret Atwood. I found it dull and unrealistic.

Well its exam time for me folks, first one tommorow.

This also means that its almost going home time. Two exams on the 23rd and im outta here. Probably to only start working full-time on the 26th. Hopefully back at the boatshop again.
Thinking i might try and get a job at a resturant for nights and get some bartending experience. It would be great money if i could get a job bartending up here next semester.

Also for those of you who watch me (not that there is many) if you interested in survivalism you should join my new group. hopefully lots of people will take interest and we can get a solid database goin on.

Every survivlasit should have a bang out bag. A bag full of absolute essentials left in your car or home that you can grab when the need arises.
The question is what are these essentials and what do you think you should include in your B.O.B.

Well it's that time of night where I go through who's online, click on pics that appeal to me in all sorts of ways and then post a random comment on their page like "taco's aren't just yummy, they give you super powers".
(well the truth is I copy and paste this exact message into all the random peoples page, but hey, that's time management for you.
So what now?, do you reply?, mod point this?, block me from communication? etc etc...
The fact is it's just a random thing I often do, there is no need for a response from yourself unless you want to. I don't have any cash prizes to give, holidays on offer, free cars or even taco's to hand out. It is just plain randomness that compels me to do it (and a lack of the right med's).
For those of you that have been unfortunate in the past to receive something like this from me, my heart goes out to you for the suffering It may have caused, but please understand that I don't keep a checklist of my unfortunate victims.
Well that's all from me, I leave you alone now to ponder this....
If we didn't call green,,,, green, what colour would grass be? (I spell it COLOUR because that's how it's done DownUnder)

Well I'd pick Blue over Red (with the RvB teams in mind, the actually colors I like Red better)
Pirates over Ninjas (cause wouldnt you rather people know you existed and still do what ever the hell you want)
      Coke < Pepsi
I am kinda tied on cake and pie, depending on the type. Cheesecake trumps them both.
PS3 and 360 both have pros and cons.
      Deff Rockband over Guitar hero!
And origional star wars is better then origional star trek, but new star trek is better than new star wars

      :] haha

No, The S-IIIs don't go through the same augmentation the S-IIs do. The S-IIs went through years of surgical augmentation and a highly dangerous skeletal grafting procedure as well as years of drug enhancement and the implantation of the neural interface. The S-IIIs underwent drug and hormonal augmentation with a 100% survival rate, whereas the S-IIs lost half the initial candidates during augmentation - some to death, some to extreme deformity. The S-IIs were meant to be huge and nearly invincible super soldiers, and the MJOLNIR armour was developed specifically for them. However, production of the S-IIs ended up being extremely cost-prohibitive. The S-IIIs were meant to be cheap, easy to produce, produced en masse, and expendable. The very stylized video of Carter's augmentation (which I already saw) is only a brief bit of what the S-IIIs went through in augmentation and nothing close to what the S-IIs went through.

Bungie authorized the books, and they consider them canon. The S-II augmentation procedure is outlined in The Fall of Reach and First Strike. It's specifically stated that Project MJOLNIR was developed for the S-IIs and that only the S-IIs post augmentation could be integrated with that armour. The S-III augmentation procedure is explained in Ghosts of Onyx and is completely different from the S-II procedure. They had the SPI armour developed specifically for them - cheaper, mass produced, much lighter, allows them to move quicker but doesn't protect nearly as well.

Bungie kinda messed up here. As I said, it'll probably be explained away with armour variants, and that's their call. I was just pointing out the inconsistency, which all major fictional universes have.

    • Ubergirl

Yeah, I'm aware of all that, though I guess I needed a correction on the identity of the S-II. My point is, regardless of genetic superiority, they would have had to undergo the rather lengthy and dangerous augmentation process of the S-II to even be able to carry the Mk. V. A standard S-III can't do it regardless of genetics. They would have been crushed. That's my issue, but what's done is done, so I'll roll with it.
