Those will be the best memories...
It's getting late but I don't mind.
With David Guetta's words, I'll write my first journal entry here in how many years?
In fact, listen to it, and I'll write up additional songs that make reading this post much more enjoyable :)
I don't know even where to begin. It's been awesome living in New York for the last 5 years or so. A huge step from suburban Iowa! It's even more awesome being able to graduate America's Favorite High School (yeah we are. look it up, skeptics =]) and graduate with 3 diplomas at once. Sure, Brooklyn Tech has its quirks and 1930s style of running things, but for the most part, I feel like this was an awesome life experience. Previously, I went to another High School, and it was nothing compared to it. Seriously, where can you find another 9 story school with a huge radio tower on top of it and a population of 5000 kids in downtown Brooklyn?
Size isn't everything. (No immature comments, please. It's been over 5 years since i first joined this site, and i grew up a lot lol). By now you probably lost your train of thought, so I'm going to repeat it once again. Size isn't everything. I can imagine that running that size of a public institution on a reduced budget must be an extremely difficult task. Hats off to you, Randy Asher (even if we do complain about you all the time). Also, respect to the few teachers that actually taught, and not just stuff from the textbook. There are those, who's life lessons I'll never forget. There are also those that didn't teach, but were just there. We killed a lot of time in that double period class (6th+7th period, to those who remember). Thank you anyways. It was all part of the package. And like always, SGO cards and gym clothes weren't included.
But I'll get to that later.
I'll start off with 8th grade. [ludacris feat sum41 - get back]
8th started out normal. Going to a jr hs school in the midwest. Still walked to that shit, unlike most people. Then in November, I moved to Brooklyn. One of the farewells, I still remember clearly, and it still makes me laugh. "Don't get shot." Haha, NY has such a bad rep out in the Midwest, it's not even funny. Still, it has cleaner air, and loads of corn fields to get some alone time lol. Nah, living in the suburbs wasn't so bad. But being born and raised a city kid, I found them boring. People were driving to stores less than a quarter mile from their house! what's up with that? but who cares?
I moved to NY. [Alicia Keys J.Z. - New York]
With the move to the big apple, I also immediately took a bite out of big bureaucracy as well. In order for me to go to school, I had to chill at home for a whole month just waiting to get a gas/electric bill. Not that I minded, but not being able to do anything, not even im my friends from my old home, and living amongst unpacked boxes made living in the apartment boring. Thankfully, I quickly found a radio station show that I found very entertaining, and filled me in on what was going on around. The Booker Show was, in a way, a godsend for a person like me, and i often found myself waking up in the living room, because my room didn't catch any radio waves. I think Booker moved to Philadelphia or something, but it's a good thing I caught him while he was still here. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't an idol, he was just a very chill guy. Perhaps that's why I see how much I've transformed over the last couple years from a hothead to an intelligently laid back dude. lol j/k
The New York school system IS pretty outdated and fucked up, as well extremely easy compared to Iowa's. Moreover, It was extremely strange, to say the least, going from a nearly all white school (80% or so), to an all black class, because I was placed into my zoned school. There's a saying in Russian : "Being the white crow". Here this metaphor fits perfectly. The experience was...different. From a gay kid making me his enemy because I started getting all the attention of the class (yeah, because I'm white. No point in denying that!) to walks to the movie theater every other week. Most importantly, it helped a "country kid in high waters" get local. Hell, next year no-one even knew that I was just fresh off the
Since I didn't have any history with NY state, and I came too late to take the Specialized High School test, I got placed into my zoned high school as well. It was near Coney Island and Brighton Beach and bore a typical American High School name. Kudos to anyone who can guess it! (a mod point? =P)
Definitely to be continued.

So...since i have nothing better to do on this fine saturday night in Florida, i guess i will write about that image of the airplane i drew.. Tomorrow, or Monday I will write a detailed account of whatever happend in these few days in the the sun (???)state. But now, here's the info, very late i know...
1.adjustable thrust nozzle improves maneuverability+ provides support when landed.
2. wings are adjustable. They collapse whenever a sudden drop in altitude is needed. They have a rail-looking niche for the cable that suspends the special film (noted later)
3. very similar to regular turbofan engines.
4. can be equipped with large array of asms, aams, bombs, rocket pods.
5. anterior wing-like structure helps change direction of flight faster (mainly height)
6.Afterburner opens up from a cone to form a tripod to create one of three supports for the
plane, even now,idk what when not in flight.
7.joint allows 360 degree rotation in y axis and about 90 in x axis;some z axis movement also available.
8. i have not the faintest idea why i numbered this.
9. mentioned before, but this part does the rotating.
10.the cable mentioned before slides in the niche creating more or less surface area as needed.
11. that film i was talking about. can vibrate sinusoidally carrying air in each of the troughs. Depending on the amplitude and period can create more or less thrust.
hope u had fun reading all this pseudo-science =P

US attorney and anti-videogames campaigner Jack Thompson has been permanently disbarred, following a ruling from the Florida Supreme Court, according to Gamasutra.
The Florida Supreme Court approved a recommendation made earlier this year that Thompson should receive a permanent disbarment. The ruling, effective October 25, further required the infamous lawyer to pay legal fees to the Florida Bar amounting to USD 43,675.35.
Thompson responded to the allegation by issuing a press release to Kotaku, in which he states that the disbarment was an act of revenge for him filing lawsuits against the Supreme Court.
"This disbarment is in retaliation," read the statement. "The timing of this disbarment transparently reveals its motivation: This past Friday Thompson filed a federal civil rights action against The Bar, the Supreme Court, and all seven of its Justices."
"This rush to disbarment is in retribution for the filing of that federal suit. With enemies this foolish, Thompson needs only the loyal friends he has. Thompson always wanted to own a Bar. Now, armed with multiple US Supreme Court rulings that no state bar can do what it has done to Thompson, he is set to own that Bar." www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/jack-thompson-permanently-disbarred
This is a nice surprise!

To all those people who thought Holland would win: suck it! Well it was a really good match, and the first time ended with 2 extra minutes at 0:0. There were a few chances to score on both teams: Denis Kolodin, and the dutch guy Shneider, but both failed to do so. Once the second half started, the game continued, and on the 55 minute the Russians launched a massive counterattack and Roman Pavlyuchenko shot and scored landing a 1:0 lean towards Russia. The Russians continued to play, allowing the Dutch to get closer to their goal, but stealing the ball to a couple daring counterattacks. Somehow, right before the game ended, on the 86 minute van Nistelroy scored, giving some hope to the Dutch that they might win. After a slight break, the game continued into overtime, with nobody winning the first overtime of 15 minutes, and on the second bam! Torbinskiy scored a nice shot right between the dutch goalkeeper's legs. On the 27th (total) minute of overtime, Arshavin scored an unbelievable goal. Youtube it, it should be up by now. That shit was knocked by his leg, and with him flying out of the play area and securing Russia the 1/2 finals of Euro 2008. Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole Rossiya, Fperyod!
Holland goalkeeper scared as fuck!
Stealin' the ball-ninja style
Holland goalkeeper in sheer disbelief as Pavlyuchenko scores 1:0

I recently saw the movie Zeitgeist, and damn it made you think! It covers a wide range of topics, starting with religion and ending at the world financial system. Part 1 is kind of anti-religion wise, so you can skip it, but the rest... it's really worth it. You'll understand so much more than you think you do. You can watch it online on the official website. This really is worth viewing.
Power Armor mkIII, almost done. Story will be

2. rate of fire
2. conditioned (allows better accuracy for automatic fire)
3. with recoil reducers (springs)
G>Ammo container (forgot what it's called in english)

Well, i told you the backstory of the game already. Now the actual game. The game starts out with a hl2 sort of interactive cutscene, where the credits role as you walk onto the spaceship style cargo container (Earth, where the warp thing is) Starts out in sunlight, and creates a feeling of that you're going into someplace dark (tunnel). There are around 20 prisoners with you. Around 3 or 4 guards with charger prods. 1 pilot. The ship accelerates on rail tracks and then the space weapon is fired, and then there's a warp effect, and the ship, and everything inside it distorts into a point, and then vanishes. It reappears in space next to the planet that i drew (and where the action happens). The player sees a large formation of greenish clouds in "subtropical" latitude, and then sees that the space ship is actually going in there. [spaceship/cargo container crashes] Player is faced with choice with staying on the ship, or leaving (the spaceship landed in wrong spot than was planned). If he stays, a military convoy picks him up and he gets taken to a researcher facility. There he is given a couple quests, mostly very minor, because he "has to work for freedom", because this is an ultracapitalistic american facility. If he goes, then he finds a small outpost of nomadic hunters (which hunt exotic creatures, to be taken to researchers). Either way, he gets to the researchers, which permit him to use car to get to the nearest location. There will be a couple of different minor locations, and the final goal of the "chapter 1" is to get to the main base (the one i showed in my other picture). There he "registers" himself, otherwise he would be shot for "resisting the law". He finds that there are different factions, including underground communist movement, organized crime, regular police+army, the Sect (religious fanatics), hunter groups, mercs, and Independents (who want to sever ties with Earth). Eventually he has to join one of these (however this doesn't prevent him from doing some jobs for other groups). Just when the player gets used to this atmosphere of work hard- get new stuff and put himself out of financial poverty, something BIG happens. More on that later...

Hi everyone. I'ts been a long time, and i doubt i'll be one more than a couple times a
yearmonth but i'll be here. . Anyways I have a game project and anyone interested reply. Of course i will include more information later, but this is just a preliminary round. The game will be RPG/Shooter and the setting will be not too distant future and not on Earth. I'm somewhat busy to put out all the details right now, so just comment if you're interested.Damn i just sounded like a douche! Maybe cuz i got all sorts of exams n shit. I am so fucking tired of that shit right now...
EDIT: Intro for game.
The game's atmosphere is kind of like that after WWI. Everybody's tired from the war, but not much has been destroyed. On earth there was a small localized nuclear war between India and Pakistan. China invades Japan. Then India and China destroy a couple of each others major cities with vacuum bombs (killing off about 80% of population on each side). This severely slows western economy, allowing the eastern bloc, which still has factories and a working class to get rich, thus shifting the world economy out of the U.S. and into Europe. Communism has been officially banned because they thought that China started the war, and many left wing groups were forced to go underground. Russia, experiencing an economical boom, starts rearming it's weakened army, and creates a new space based weapon. The "i haven't come up with a name yet" is gravitational field disrupter that requires massive amounts of energy (has a small fusion reactor on board). When it was tested in the Caucus Mountains, to many people the show was disappointing because the weapon did not work. So the generals gave a direct order to increase the output power. All of a sudden you see chunks of earth flying out of the ground hovering, then exploding into dirt that flies in different directions, and slowly the process speeds forward, and uncovers an ancient cave. The cave was seen to have ancient indo-european scripture, and that place was inhabited by a local ruler. Deeper inside, they found a large chamber, but within it, they find a peculiar site: a perfectly round hole that was still smoldering and the crater that was perfectly spherical. Later it was found out that the shape of the cave caused disruptions in the fabric of time and space, and when alligned with the gravitational disrupter, it created a warp effect to another place in space. It was found that it led to an asteroid that was floating nearby the planet that i drew. It had the mass of Earth, but was smaller, and there was a huge gash on the surface (i didn't draw it yet). 5 years later. They built a small base on the planet, 10 years, they built 3 (but no one knew exactly how many, but it's 3) large bases that were very self sufficient. They channeled all sorts of prisoners to the planet to help out with the terraforming and research. Eventually they installed a large scale antenna that was able to create the warp effect with the help of gamma waves, and this allowed communication between the two planets. <That's basically the whole intro right there. And then we have the main hero introduced.
Edit (in reply to Samx)
Yes. On that note I'm pretty much clear. There will be developing quantum computers, but they won't be able to do much with "regular" geometry and calculations, that's why normal digital computers will be a lot more popular, and more avaliable. The whole idea of the game is to change from a functioning society, to a small period of mayhem and then into a totally different view of the same place. The game will start out more RPG than shooter, as access to weapons will be limited- thus making the player dependent on his fists and "cold" weapons. The system will NOT have elements such as leveling-up or magic type stuff. However, certain elements of mix and match armor, custom weapons etc. So the player's armament will develop from:
1. fists and cold weapons (blunt objects, knives, thrown non-explosive objects)
2. regular firearms (including those with electronic assistance)
3. small vehicles, weaponless
4. small vehicles, with weapons
5. throwback to regular firearms, vehicles become rare.
6. as player meets factions, access to new levels of weapons, heavy vehicles.
7. Player will be mildly forced to leave vehicles behind
Most areas will be free roam (although there will be little to do there), and some areas (such as settlements) will have to be free roam- others only accessible by missions. Technically, i want the whole world accessible to the player, that is why there should be a couple generic maps that will have randomly scattered trees and stuff, creating an illusion that the player is free.
Some populated areas will be blocked off, but only with like a military post. If you manage to sneak in, then kudos to the player. That is a very good "reward system", if the player (himself, not the character) learns to break into areas, then he will have early access to weapons and stuff. If he gets caught, there will be consequences. I actually thought of including a jail, but thinking that the game will be time limited in very few places I thought not. Some areas will naturally be closed off due to the environement (i.e. high amounts of radiation, heat etc), only accessible with proper gear. Some gear will be avaliable (but at a really high price), making the player do many side missions to get them, other gear will be given during missions (or found).
the player will be free to visit different areas, instead of necessarily going to one. Like, you can go to one settlement, bypassing the other. Some won't be accessible though, just for the story's sake, otherwise it will be like Gothic 3 where you can visit any place and they will give you a quest not really depending on what you have done before. Don't get me wrong, Gothic 3 was a good game, but very beta-ish.

I know, not all of you played the game HL2 Episode two (aka orangebox), but I mean I got so hyped by the Portal ending. The strider part in HL2 episode 2 was so full of adrenaline, i mean wow. I don't have enough words. So vote!
PS I suspect that GlaDos may be relocated to the Borealis, and that the portal gun may be used in hl 3... what do you think?
PSS: the "still alive" song from the end of portal.
EDIT: Ok that was seriously off topic, even for me. Promise the next journal will be more caloric, hmm maybe a contest...
