      So. About that dodgeball.

Did you bring the smackdown to the unrighteous, or get your dick knocked into the dirt?

      Inquiring minds want to know.

As I told everyone, I have no problem with the way I am. If I weird myself out, it would probably be good to warn the person I am actually acting strangely to.

That was in response to a FB post saying heterosexual males shouldn't want to date me because I'm so weird, I weird myself out sometimes.
Many people thought I was beating myself up and offered all too flattering comments I wasn't looking for.
As much as I appreciated the support, I posted in jest and don't think I will end up single and alone the rest of my life. It was mostly just a warning, because if I'm weirding myself out, what the hell does my boyfriend think?

April issue, I believe. It's very short. Not really an interview.

I think the PX skipped the issue that had your interview in it. Due you remember which one it was? I'll do the leg work and chase down the back issue.

Hey, just want to say I think it's awesome that you are doing that run. I"m sorry I haven't donated yet. I'm super poor right now and even $5 is a big chunk for me. smiley2.gif

I knew you were trying to stay busy while your wife was in Mexico but running a marathon will hurt. Anyway, Burnie says you're running for cancer? They just did the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon last weekend. You running the next race on the circuit up there in Santa Barbara?

It's almost gone. A little regret that it's not my ex-wife but it's more like," Oh that's an awesome sunrise. too bad I don't have my camera." I'm really stoked I have a house (I could do without the commute) and a woman who wants to take care of me. I could retire in this house. I feel that good about it.

Hey Stranger! Haven't seen you around in a while. But seeing your "latest" journal entry.....I can understand why. I wish you the best of luck.

Side note....I was wondering how the dog situation was going....I know you guys were going for insane obedience training....did it turn out?

Oh and totally loving the new profile picture! Awesome!

Yes, seriously ... it's more an American thing, though.

We tend to call it "Afghaninam," in accordance with the proud Danish military tradition of appending -Nam to the name of any current mission. It's supposed to sound cooler that way, I guess.

I won't regret it. For the last 3 years this site has made such an impact on my life and it will always be something that I will fondly remember. I've met some of my closest friends and my boyfriend whom I'm moving to another country for (not that Canada is really that far but still, that's a big move). Even if/when it does fade out of my life I will still think fondly of it and the ways it's changed me and helped me.

I just read you comment on my journal, and I would like to say that I'm going to go freaking nuts with out him! Not only is he my husband but he is my best friend, my partener in crime and that hot boyfriend most military wives have on the side. haha we're fantastic. Its not just because we just got married, this is something I hope lasts forever and I know it will.

I think the test was a bit on the binary side and failed to really gauge nuances. There were several questions where I could only provide the best answer, not the correct answer. Still, like you said, it's usually interesting to where you fall. According to my results, I'm only slightly more religious than the mainstream. But I answered each religious question as far to the negative as possible. Bah, it's standard internet tripe.

Run-on sentences are a source of pain for me as well. My other problem with Blood Meridian was that the narrative was so bleak, I can appreciate the artistic merits of it, but I have a hard time getting into a book that reads like a historical record of events. Too much 3rd person limited perspective, not enough insight to make me care.

Yeah, the Mongoose Achievment was a pain. I don't know if you saw mine on File share, but it was more luck than anything. The best thing to do is try and run over some guys that have been taking each others shields down. Good luck in trying to get it.

My experience is Boston embraced ska more than So. Cal. did when I lived there. Which I always thought was weird.

      Don't hate, yo. smiley8.gif

Danish "basic training" is a piece of frosted carrot cake compared to the Corps. Not even in the same league. If it's any comfort to you, though, we've been getting lovingly destroyed since June by our version of AIT. 20% of the people we started with have dropped out, we're just barely up to strength, and everybody is limping around with strains, pains, and injuries. Ugh.

If I lost twenty pounds, I think I'd probably die. smiley7.gif

Well at my gamestop they told me just to show up a few minutes before midnight. They said since I paid in full during the pre-order, that I'm guaranteed to have my copy on hand, and since I don't have to process payment, I just walk up with my driver's license and they hand me my copy. I'd only have to wait in line with the other people in my same situation, so it wouldn't take very long.

But I'm still planning on hitting my gamestop at 11:15'ish. Just to hang out with my fellow Halo fans.

The suck thing is by the time you get your copy and get home, it'll probably be like 2:15am here. So we might not be able to play with each other. Ah well, I'm sure we'll spend plenty of time in multiplayer. :)
