I'm starting a petition asking for the end of RT comics (not that I expect it to have the slightest chance of working) that I'll send to Luke and Griffon so long as I have enough users supporting me. The petition itself is in the works so feel free to send suggestions. In the mean time, just lay your support here.
Dear Luke and Griffon,
There comes a time when sitcoms, comics, video games, etc such have reached the climax of their quality and must be put down as to be remembered for when they were at their best rather than when they became old and stale.
We've all read the laugh-a-minute quirks on Burnie's gaming score and enjoy the crowd of fourteen year-olds you have attracted especially on the Politics and Current Events forum. No one was happier when the Lord of Metal, Cloud (peace be with him), was banned for publicly stating his negative opinion concerning the value of your comics. Us long time veterans of Rooster Teeth and it's solitary predecessor Red vs. Blue have endured the mishaps of staff members and moderators covering up the phony death of a very popular yet false user and the joy simple layout of the forum without flashy signatures and oversized avatars.
While I'm sure that there is not one person who doesn't wish they had their own army of ass kissing teenagers who wish they were funny but don't have the balls to make a real joke (seriously Kat, it was a joke. I'm pro-choice and find abortion to be really funny) comics that make an intellectual commentary such as "The Einstein of Stupid" walk the line of not funny, and desperate.
This is why I, Mr_Jingoism, P&CE, the music BAR, and countless other individual users implore the two of you to put this comic to rest before you start your own version of Chuck Norris jokes exaggerating Burnie, as a gaming nerd or Gus as a drunk asshole. Also, France jokes? Way to set the bar.
EDIT: If you feel the need to neg mod this journal, fine. But give a reason why instead of just trying to piss me off, because honestly I could care less about my karma.

Alright, so I have to start off with the obligatory "Merry Christmas" to you all. Okay, got that over with, hope you all had a good day and enjoyed the time spent with the family and/or friends.
I had a good day in relative form, nice gifts and good food.
Although it is Christmas and everyone is writing nice journals I really do have to deviate and inform you all with one of those "good information to take and remember" stories.
It begins with a good decision with bad consequences. I decided foru days ago to go cold turkey on coffee and most caffeine all around. As I said, good idea, but results.
The first two days weren't horrible by any stretch. A minor and constant heahache that lasted the majority of the day was about it. I am not a fan of medication, never have been and never will be. I avoid headache pills and the like as though it were the plague unless under dire conditions. But, I was forced to take some Excedrin about half way through the second day but did not avail with much of a result (although it does contain caffeine, it was apparently not a substanial enough amount.
By the third is had not gotten any better, and what was much worse was that we were at my Mom's families house. My grandparents, like many elderly people are sensitive to the cold and feel that it is only properly warm when the house is around 85 degrees Farenheit. This does not bode well when you already have a headache on top of a stomach full of food.
The results were far less than pleasing on any level. I was out of it for a good half a day and at the point of delirium for a good portion of the time. My Dad at one point literally tired to get me to drink some coffee which I believe I refused and started half-yelling about it and then proceeded to run to the bathrooom.
So what's the moral of the story? Don't get addicted to coffee or drink alot and think you'll be okay. Caffeine is stilla drug even though it is legal. It has withdrawal simptoms and they can be nasty.
Now I need to get some sleep before I get sick again.
EDIT: Apparently my profile is now Marriage Counseling for Templar and Shai.....if it ever gets that bad for anyone else your e-Marriage is FAIL.

With the Christmas season coming to ahead and with the aforementioned event but three days away it would seem appropriate to atleast make a mention of the holiday season and all around "merriment" of the annual occasion.
What better way to begin than with the Christmas Tree of all things, falling over....
Well Pop, this is a bit of a predicament
As of yesterday we managed to return it to it's original glory as the symbol of Christmas(ironically not a manger). Although it now stands suspended to a window sill in the living room by steel wiring. My family, rather my mother, goes all out. She's one of those people who is infatuated with the holiday, some of her favorite gifts being snowmen and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer memoribilia.
So it was rather shocking to her the other day when sitting in the living room around nine o'clock when the cat came flying out from under the tree followed by the tree abruptly crashing to the floor and hitting part of the coffee table. To say the least she was horrified.
It seems as though the tree had come offbalance and had forced weight upon the stand enough to bend one of the legs straight upwards as it came plummeting towards the earth. Luckily, no one was injured. And more importantly, the tree was fine and no oraments had been broken (I know, we were all relieved).
But, beyond that the holiday season has remained lack-luster and all predictions say it shall remain that way as I travel to my Dad's family's Christmas gathering on Saturday and then my Mom's the next.
Christmas morning I plan to sleep in til far past noon and nothing else.

That's right. First and only time ever, mod contest.
What do you need to do? I need an avatar, something new, I don't care if it's photoshop or whatever.
Whatever you can think of. Post them in the journal comments and the one I like the best will get 50 mods.
Runner up will get 25 mods.
Edit: Grim asked a good question; No there is no end date set for this. It ends when I decide I've found the one I like the most.
WASHINGTON - Lawmakers have settled differences on landmark legislation to allow U.S. shipments of civilian nuclear fuel to India, clearing the way for passage of a measure that will overturn three decades of American anti-proliferation policy.
The bill was likely to be approved in final House and Senate votes Friday and sent to President Bush to sign into law.
On Thursday, after several days of tense discussions and hours before the scheduled end of the legislative session, congressional negotiators signed off on the compromise bill. It reconciles separate versions previously endorsed overwhelmingly by the House and the Senate.
As pointed out in the report, this is a rather huge step in American nuclear proliferation policies. One that could open up many Asian trade agreements and benefit the United States. But, at the same time we've trying to drastically cut but on our nuclear production and limit the amount used in the world.
Do you think this is a wise move for the United States or that it will have reprucussions that may hurt its dealings with nuclear production?

I just took a line but I wasn't with ya
There was more of it there, when I got back home
But you left me,you don't know my soul
This past weekend a friend of mine decided to throw a party, so I of course obliged since I had such other important matters at hand on Saturday....
It was eventful to say the least, with an appearance by an ex-friend from high school, who, is by any definition a "train wreck". She spends her days in a drug induced haze followed by whoring it up (I do feel bad for devulging these matters, on the internet no less; but my sympathy for her lifestyle choices wanes continually and exponentially). Although her girlfriends were mighty attractive, so it made up for her being there. Luckily she left after only few minutes. Sadly, her friends went with her.
Beyond the random interjections of old friends, we spent the majority of the night playing Guitar Hero 2 whilst most of them drank. The guy who held the party downed a few too many and decided eating some donuts. Apparently his sickening results were "explosive" or so am I told. I crashed rather earlier because I didn't feel the need to deal with the most of them any longer.
But morning came and I had been assured a ride home so that I could go to church that morning to usher. My assurance had been marred by the fact that my ride was the guy held the party. With an hour til church I made the decision I really did have to leave, so I got to walk home 2 miles in the wet and cold rain to go to church.
The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
