Did everyone like The Ant Man? I know I did!
Until I left the theater that is, and really started thinking about the movie.
Like for instance:
Why the hell was the yellow jacket suit made? Why was the military interested in it? Why was it made? And lastly on the subject of the yellow jacket suit. WHY WAS IT MADE?
It's inferior to any of the Ironman suits which Shield/ Hydra probably could have had access to at this point by just picking spare pieces of dead Ultrons.
"But it shrinks!" you say
To which I say "yes it does" But, why the hell does it shrink?
Crazy balled billionaire guy had multiple reasons to think that the shrinking would kill him. or anyone. So from a business standpoint why would you make an inferior Ironman suit that's only really unique feature is to instantly kill the wearer?
Then he finds out that if your "encased" say like "in a suit" of some kind perhaps... you'll survive. And he has an expression like "yes I did it!"
Then why in gods name did they make a suit with the shrinking tech and then shrink it?
What purpose was there in making this suit, calling all these hydra heads to his successful billion dollar company. Besides effectively selling them a suit that didn't at that time work, (even though it did) so as to put a noose around his neck? For money!
What does Pim industries even do! What do they actually sell?
Second point that bugged me enough to dig myself into a deep dark hole of WTF.
Was the Pim particle.
Pim says hey don't take off your helmet or you'll die! Which is bullshit. Because of that giant fucking ant at the end! Why didn't that ant die?! why wasn't it being kicked around the room like a balloon if it had the mass of an two millimeter ant spread across four feet?
Because Hank Pym Clearly missed the single most amazing part of the shrinking/expanding process. You're completely invincible while doing it.
How do I know this?
Because of when those ants scared him and he expanded back to normal size pushing his legs three feet into compacted dirt.
There was more but I'm hungover so No!
