We're moving our official forums, along with all league operations to Grifball.info. This is to centralize the league and make it easier for new players to navigate.
Thank you very much to Rooster Teeth Productions for everything. We wouldn't exist without you, and we probably lost you money over the years, so thanks for that.
The new forums are here.
The new site main page is here.
So, this season is drawing to a close, and we've come up with a schedule for the beginning of next season.
March 6th: Current season ends. Applications for elections begins. Positions available are: Administrator x3, Head of Stats, Head of Rules, Head of Events, Committee for Hall of Fame nominations x3, Hall of Fame graphic design. Applications will be done via grifball.info, with an application form.
March 10th: Applications end. Elections begin. Elections will be held on Grifball.info with an anonymous voting form.
March 17th: Elections end. Signups begin. Signups will also be held on Grifball.info using the same form as last season, and will begin immediately upon the announcement of election results.
March 24th: Signups end.
March 25th: Divisions will be posted either late on the 24th, or more likely early on the 25th. Adjustments made until first game is played.
March 26th: Assuming a Monday division is filled, season begins.
Additionally, the official forums for the AGLA are moving to .info. We are doing this to centralise everything on one site, rather than having multiple places to go for different things. If you have any difficulties signing up there, please contact an administrator and we'll gladly help you out.
We also have a nice shiny free agent tracker on on Grifball.info. As such, we are retiring the 'Looking for Team/Player' thread, and suggest that anyone looking for a team uses the tracker. It can be found under the AGLA tab. Currently there is only a player looking for team section, but Cow is working on a Team looking for player section which will be ready some time this weekend.
This thread is where you can post your campaign for any position you're on the ballot for. Non campaign related posts will be deleted (as long as I can get some mod to do shit for me) and repeated offences will get you banned from this thread.
Now the important part, who is on the ballot! First off, the committee head positions. To vote for these simply send a message to me on RT with who you want to vote for for each position. One vote per position, per person. Bribery, multi-accounting or any other bull shit will get you kicked off the ballot, or if you're not in the running, your votes discounted.
Head of Events:
cfhhateph34r (CFH Hateph34r)
JOEPRO (JOEPRO v2)
draco24 (Chanpuru Dragon)
Head of Advertising:
blackeva03 (Haitakamaru, current HoA)
GFORCE137 (II G SERIES II)
Congratulations to GQRox (TotallyBatty) for being the uncontested winner of the Head of Rules position. He did a great job last season and hopefully will continue his good work.
Voting for the position of Administrator will be slightly different. We will be selecting two administrators based on voting from the applicants, and each voter can vote for either one or two of them. They are:
neo120590 (xI Neo Ix)

So, we've done some highlights in the past, and for the most part, they were a failure. Clips weren't submitted, and when they were, reels were rarely made. This season, we're trying again but now there's a tangible reason to submit.
Basically, Mikinater went and made himself e-famous by posting a video of some poor girl breaking her ankles. Sucks for her, good for us, because now he can put ads in front of his youtube videos and, here's the good part, make money on them. Being the charitable person that he is, rather than greedily grubbing up that money, he's willing to put money he gets from highlight reels towards grifball league prizes, as well as a prize to the best highlight of the season. Everyone likes prizes, right? The Pro league winners will each receive 1600 Microsoft Points, as long as they played a game during either regular season or playoffs. Amateur league winners will receive and RT sponsorship as long as they played a game during regular season or playoffs. At the end of the season, Mikinater will make a top ten of the best highlights of the season, as voted by the community. The top highlight will get a 1600 point card.
In addition, even if you aren't the best, you can still win. As per MenZ's suggestion 2 posts down, one team with no FF losses will be drawn randomly to win an undisclosed prize (we don't know how much we'll have to work with, but it'll be something). Also, any team with 10 or more highlight submissions will receive an extra entry in the draw.
I'm pretty sure every game has at least one awesome play happen somewhere. All it takes is saving a clip with at least ten seconds before and after the awesome, then putting it on your fileshare and emailing the link to [email protected] It's really not very hard, and it could land you some sweet MS points, not to mention getting the league some prizes that actually get delivered. People keep saying they want Grifball to be big again, this should help, but we need a community effort on this. Everyone has to send in their cool plays, passes, scores and whatever the hell else you can come up with. It's on you, Grifball community, get it done.

Hey guys, a fellow web series needs some help. Pure Pwnage, a canadian based web series (www.purepwnage.com) managed to do what few web series can, get their own tv show. Now unfortunately the network, Showcase, has not agreed to issue them a new season. This means that the TV show and the web series have both come to a halt.
You probably know this show, from references like "fps_doug" or "boom headshot" or "i pwn noobs" or even the classic "uber micro". Jeremy and his gang need your help, please comment on the facebook wall of Showcase and pure pwnage ( www.facebook.com/showcasedotcaand www.facebook.com/pages/Pure-Pwnage/21467555514 ) also, if rooster teeth could give the fans a hand, get the ball rolling so to speak im sure Showcase would listen!
Thanks for your time.
