Well...Yesterday certainly was a long day. I won't say that it was terrible (personally speaking) but, it was certaily eventful

At about 7am, a fireman in a gas mask came by and told us that a train had derailed and that cyanide gas was leaking into the air and that we needed to evacuate ASAP. He told us to go up to one of the high schools nearby (somewhat nearby anyway) where a shelter was being set up. When we got there we found out that CSX, the railroad company that owns the train that derailed, was setting up hotel reservations and we spent the last day and a half or so a hotel (one of about 20 hotels that CSX had paid for people to stay at).

The evacuation was lifed a couple of hours ago though. So now we're back home.

    • Wal-Mart. What are you doing? Wal-Mart. Stahp

      TheWampusCat

I just heard a couple of days ago that Wal-Mart wants to put in yet ANOTHER store here. To make matters worse, they want to put it in right next to the Parkway Drive In theater. The only drive in theater within about 50 miles of here. They say that this will render the theater (which a lot of people go to, by the way) completely unusable as the lights from the parking lot of this new Wal-Mart will make it nigh impossible to see the theater's screen. Now get this. There are already TWO WAL-MART SUPERCENTERS (you know, the ones that cover several fucking acres) within less than 10 miles of this site where they want to build this one. We also have a K-Mart, Target, JC Penny's and a Sears (I'm sure I'm missing a couple). All in a county of MAYBE 130,000 people.

It also looks like the city of Maryville annexed that area recently and I'm sure they've got something to do with it as that would bring in a lot of money those assholes could line their pockets with.

Even if they weren't planning on building this thing next to the drive in, we don't need another fucking Wal-Mart.

Needless to say, a lot of people here are pissed off about it.

    • My Youtube channel.

I'm not entirely sure but, it looks like my Youtube channel is just gone. My favorites and subscriptions are still there and I can still sign in but, the front page just gives me a "this channel does not exist" message in an eye searingly red box.

I might not have used it for anything other than faving (sp?) videos but, still, I had it since 2007. Before the dark times. Before the Google empire. I don't know what the fuck is going on over there and I can't find a straight answer anywhere.

I won't even bother trying to post on Google's "product forums" because it's only made up of two kinds of people. Those who have the same problem as you and are looking for a solution (of which there seems to be none.) and Google's corporate whores whose posts are filled with nothing but them licking Google's asshole while patting themselves and each other on the back.

I guess this is just one more example of Google's asshattery. Youtube has been constantly going downhill ever since Google stuck it's dick into it so this shit honestly doesn't really surprise me at all. It says a lot about a company when their shit fucks up and your like, 'well, I expected that to happen eventually." It also says a lot about a company when no one other than those obviously collecting a check from them has anything nice to say about that company.

Once again, an innocent person is being trodden on by idealistic, candy-assed, politically motivated, fucktards with too much power.

Why are we letting these shit-licking assholes run our schools? They suspend a kid for pointing his finger. What the fuck?! Did these "people" eat a whole box of idiot flakes for breakfast while falling out of the stupid dumbass tree and hitting every branch on the way down? Because it sure as fuck looks like they did.

Folks, we NEED to take back our fucking country.

I used either Remilia or the Remilia/Sakuya team and beat it on easy. I've since tried the extra stage and can make it as far as Keine, but can't get past her yet. I bet Mokou is going to be a nightmare to face. I've not beaten any others yet. As for the group invite, yeah that would be cool. Can you invite me?

    • ConnieEdogawa

cool. i beat final ending a with the rreimu/yukari team and the marisa/alice team, and have beaten final b with the reimu/yukari team, but all that was only on easy. the only other games where i could finish, again on easy, are PoFV, SWR, and UNL. i got to stage 6, though, in MoF. if you want, i can invite you to the touhou group.

    • TheWampusCat

Yeah, I got into the games a few months back and liked the setting and most of the characters in them. They've got good music tracks too.
Those are some of the hardest games I've ever played though. Imperishable Night is the only one I've been able to beat so far.
I've been trying on a few more but haven't beaten them yet.

The head of the Bioroid actually sits on top of the cockpit, the head is too small to fit an entire cockpit, but the cockpit is located in the upper chest. I wish HG and Toynami would release more masters toys instead of endless new gen and macross stuff. It may not be the most popular show, but that doesn't mean the stuff won't sell at all... >.<b

Close, he was an inspector for a ship yard that was responsible for assembling navy vessels. Some soldiers saw his mark on the inside parts of the ship and were unbelieveably confused as to how he get his mark in there (Many soldiers believed that he was another soldier on their ship). From then on, allot of soldiers adopted the MEME "Kilroy was here". The MEME even reached deep into Nazi Territory, where many officiers thought it was the mark of a American Spy. There was even an order to keep a look out for someone named "Kilroy".

After the end of the war, Kilroy was given the key to his home city for creating the MEME. They even gave him his own private trolley car as a reward. After that, his kids played with that old Trolley car in his front yard till the damn thing rusted over.

either way, you get full points.

Mmm, true true.to bring my point back to La Bete(sorry! smiley5.gif )

People describe her some as a large wolf, while to others she has add ons, like stripes, hooves, a black stripe, a white stripe, a puffy tail.

      I know what you mean.

From the descriptions and records of La Bete's attacks, she was never fatally injured.

They saay her skin is too hard to peretrate and that nothing can harm her not even gun poweder (aside from a blessed silver bullet, I mean).

Only two records were recorded of La Bete being injured. One was of a girl, Marie-jeanne Valet, she stabbed at La Bete armed only with a crude spear, when she attacked Valet and her sister. Valet stabbed La Bete in the chest, and it is said, that La Bete put her paw to her paw to the wound and rolled into a marsh and dissapeared.

The other encounter was of a young boy and his sister. The boy stabbed at La Bete and broke the skin of her shoulder, he pulled the blade away, bloody. But La Bete limped away, not shedding a drop of crimson, she appeared the next day killing a young girl.

I'll check it out, when I'm on my comp and not my dad's smiley4.gif

      Here: Info on La Bete

      La Bete recorded attacks

Two of my favorite attacks from La Bete are these:

There was the mysterious case of the three women of Pompeyrac, going to church near the wood of Favart, when a dark man offered to escort them through the wood. They refused and before leaving he touched one of them with a fur-covered hand. Dragoons arriving on the scene warned the terrified women not to go into the wood, because La Bête had just been seen there.

Two women of Escures also on the way to church had a similar experience in an area where, unknown to them, La Bête had just been seen by several people. This time they saw that the man accosting them was covered in fur only when his shirt blew open in the wind. It was said at the time that La Bête, instrument of the Devil, was trying to stop them from going to Mass.

Yes, but it has been proven not to have been a hyena, because the vicims of La Bete usually had the head completely ripped off. A grotesque death by far. A hyena's jaw isn't large or strong enough to do that damage. And the mystery lives on.

I have never heard of The beast of Bay Road. Do you mind explaining it?

    • AnimalCops FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold

They really didn't know what it was. If it was a large wolf with a taste for human flesh, or a wolfhound trained to kill. They do think it could have been a wolfman, because a man with furry, clawed hands was seen around town, and a furry chest when the 'dark' man's shirt was blown open by the wind.

La Bete was killed by a man named Jean Chastel by a silver bullet. Making the french people think it was a wolfman. They also think that it was raised by Chastel to kill.

No one knows what it was, a monster, or a murderer.... smiley8.gifsmiley8.gif

It reminded me of the legend to La Bete du Gevaudan when I friest read about it.

La Bete was a wolf like animal in France during the reign of King Louis XV. She killed over 300 people in the span of three years. I'd love to talk about it, being a histoical story, that is nothing but fact. But I wouldn't wanna unless I knew you'd wanna hear/read about it. smiley8.gif

I didn't know where it got its name.

I read, that the woman did get turned into a mountain lion, but it was punishment from sneaking around and spying on her husband. She dressed in a lion skin and the tribe's witch doctor mended her with the animal skin. The crys she emits are screams, most likely crying for her old body back. People still say they see her in the woods.

      That's what I read anyways....
