Should any of the old crowd be desperate enough to log back in after a decade, feel free to find me on Steam so I can laugh about all of your incorrect assumptions about life, the universe, and everything.

To nobody's surprise, I'm not surprised at all.
It's like a completely new, untested, original premise that's sure to be exciting since nobody has ever done anything like it before.
Maybe now there'll be a renewed interest in the light novels, thus speeding up the translation process and allowing me to continue being an ungrateful leecher, though I wish there would be a greater focus on Yomigaeri no Maou and Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou, especially since they're moving beyond web novels. Reading with kanji dictionaries is not much fun.
In all seriousness, Hundred is Infinite Stratos except the male lead isn't impotent and Charolette wins before there's any competition, making it a billion times better. And Bahamut actually has a fairly interesting premise and execution, so both should be decent fun.

Naive prince who has family issues learns how different the world is than his narrow view. Incoming tragedy heavily implied.
One of the nicer looking new shows, and seems interesting enough. Worth paying attention to.
Baby Steps 2
It's a sports show which means I automatically don't give a shit.
Battle Spirits: Burning Soul
Oh hey look a Pokémon/Digimon/Naruto clone. Don't care. Not my age group.
The most otakuist otaku of all otakukind becomes a physics teacher because his little sister threatens to destroy his collection of figurines with a bat.
Most definitely a comedy. Could get better, could get worse.
Diamond no Ace: Second Season
See Baby Steps 2.
Digimon Adventure tri.
...I haven't watched any Digimon since 2000, so I'm probably not going to start now.
Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigateiru Darou ka?
Newbie at dungeoncrawling gets saved by the level bajillion swordswoman, love and jealousy ensues.
Liked the source material, will probably keep watching this.
I have no idea what this series is about other than it's a sequel. Not watching unless I watch the prequels first.
Grisaia no Rakuen
WHY ISN'T THIS AIRING YETTTTTT WHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY
High School DxD BorN
Jewelpet Magical Change
No, I am not a pedophile.
Kaitou Joker 2
It's just like the first season. Probably.
Guy who can see through his eyelids sacrifices his disabled sister to a demon and moves to a city full of crazy people so he can feel bad about himself.
A very unique show stylistically, but not my cup of tea. Too much crazy, too much action.
Koukaku Kidoutai Arise: Alternative Architecture
AKA those new Ghost in the Shell movies spliced up into shorter segments for television broadcast. Unless you enjoy edits, wait for the new episodes.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid
See Jewelpet Magical Change. I assure you that I have no problems of that aspect.
Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu
...I dislike this franchise. Immensely.
Take the episodes from the first season, repeat.
A gentle giant with no romantic fortunes may be getting lucky as soon as he stops seeing relationships that don't exist.
Comedy, romance, and a shoujo series that doesn't have obnoxious, pushy, overbearing guys whose only decent point is filling up rooms with flowers by the power of their sparkles! Quite enjoyable.
Did you know that androids go insane after a very specific amount of time? Me neither.
Ehhhhh...not sure about this one.
See Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid.
Shokugeki no Souma
Cooks can make food so delicious that everyone who eats it immediately achieves a state of orgasm.
Yeah...no thanks? I've read enough of the source material to know what's coming.
Show By Rock!!
See PriPara 2.
Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Senseki
Apparently, you have to wear nothing but underwear and fight sickness with guns to treat patients.
Tentacle demons incoming. No thanks.
Things that are still upcoming but are going to be completely awesome:
Mushishi: Suzu no Shizuku
Mushishi is amazing and I will fight anyone to the death who says otherwise.
Persona 3 the Movie 3: Falling Down
FUCK YOU RYOJI. AIGIS IS LOVE, AIGIS IS LIFE.
Grisaia no Meikyuu
Because it'll probably be amazing.
Suisei no Gargantia: Meguru Kouro, Haruka
I haven't forgiven you for fucking up everything that wasn't the first episode, but I still want to see how this ends.
So while I'm waiting for the interesting shows to appear, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works is awesome.

Steam seems to be popping up more often in internet drama. Most recently, there was that whole Hatred debacle and whether or not the game (which was about being a spree killer gunning down everyone) should have been allowed on the service. It was on Steam Greenlight, then it was off, then it was back on again with a statement that it shouldn't have been removed, and then it was removed again because it was pretty much an AO rating and Steam tries to avoid distributing those titles.
Before Hatred, there was just people complaining about the amount of anime tits they were seeing on places like the front place. Actually, I think they still might be complaining about that.
Before lack of design choices in costumes, there was Depression Quest, and even now nobody really knows what the hell happened with all that drama.
And now, last Tuesday, we have another potential Steam train wreck incoming, and I can't stop watching because it's a train wreck occurring on the internet, and stuff like that somehow turns out to be more entertaining than it really ought to be. I guess I really do get off on seeing other people suffer for their poor decisions.
A PC port of Revolution 60, an iOS title that mostly video game journalists seemed to like much (...hmmmm...what's that thing still going on about games and gates, again?), has made its way to Steam Greenlight and the comments, forums and discussion are burning much like the Hindenburg would have if it had also carried nuclear weapons. Everything is there, people criticizing the game's budget, design, sound, graphics, controls, colors, duration of development and development team, and a developer meltdown seems to have been ongoing for quite some time because everyone's already forgotten that one guy whose last name was Fish.
So how much of that is those pesky alligators ganging up on a poor, defenseless developer who dared to make an epic about equality and friendship and how much of it is backlash to what appears to be a port of a very badly designed game?
Full disclaimer: I know pretty much everything the developer has been accused of doing. I've also installed (but not bought) Revolution 60 onto my iPhone and played as far as I could, which was about 30ish minutes. The game is no longer installed, but I feel I played enough to see what the rest of the game would be like.
Okay, first off, I'm sorry to say this, but the game looks pretty bad, even for a mobile game. The first problem is the color palette. It's just....weird. So many bright neon colors that just look out of place. Pretty much anything that is not the protagonist is made out of very obvious sharp edges, and what's not made out of sharp edges is too bloody curvy. I know that games are art, but...if I wanted to play with dolls, I've got a box of Star Trek action figures in my closet. In the visual department, there's nothing really to praise.
It could be worse, but...this is probably the worst use of the Unreal Engine I've seen. UT 2k4 looks superior in every way. Everything aside from the player models wouldn't look out of place in the original Unreal. Also, the animations in the original Unreal...are at the very least on par with Revolution 60.
The voicework is just...bad. There's nothing else to say. The sound effects are nothing special, and the music is entirely forgettable. I'm an audiophile, and I absolutely adore many soundtracks from video games, but I can't remember any of the music from this game. I remember music from Gameboy Color games I haven't played in a decade, I remember the music from Escape Velocity and Myst, but once again, I can't remember any of the music from this game. I remember music from games I've started playing but haven't finished, like Eternal Poison and Final Fantasy X, but again, I can't remember the music from Revoultion 60. That's a bad thing.
I read a comment where someone claimed that the entire game was basically a huge fanfiction, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised. There was very little story in the amount of the game I played. You control some secret agent who is in a base killing people for some reason that's never mentioned and another member of her team doesn't realize the enemy knows grenades are meant to be thrown and thus takes a grenade to the face and goes into a coma. The remaining members of the team inject nanomachines to heal her body but may fuck up her mind and that's it. Yeahhh...no thanks. There's no real reason to care about anyone at all and the rest of the "gameplay" is just showing off how badass this agent is supposed to be.
So, nothing particularly new or inspiring. Passable at best, but not worth the price of admission. Oh, there's some Mass effect-like conversation tree thingy but it's pretty much straight from a visual novel for the "pick your ending" dealio. Meh.

Boy goes to combat school, boy has irregular power, meets girl who is somewhat interested in him and they end up sharing a room.
There is only one thing to set this apart from other series; the girl is not entirely naked. Otherwise, it's just like the five billion others that came before it. Just rewatch your favorite series like it.
Aldnoah Zero (2015)
A continuation of the first season. Mars is still at war with Earth over an assassination that Martians carried out and actually never really happened.
Somehow, everyone important who died is actually still alive. I'm blaming George Lucas, but I'll keep watching anyways.
A near omnipotent...thing...is now the teacher of a failing class of students, and they must kill it before the year ends else it'll blow up the Earth.
Quirky and unusual, but surprisingly worth paying attention to!
Dog Days "
I haven't even watched any of it yet and I already know it'll be just like the two seasons prior.
Mr. "Average" gets saved by a bow-wielding girl and they must seal spirits together.
My nomination for "Worst Adaptation of the Season". It's bad. Really. Bad.
Junketsu no Maria
A witch with no romantic experience uses her succubus and magic to disrupt all wars happening around her.
Might get better. Could also get a lot worse.
Juuou Mujin No Fafnir
See Absolute Duo, except there's only one boy and they don't share a room in the first episode (they do that in the next episode).
It's Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance mashed with Infinite Stratos with more CG giant monsters. Seriously. They might as well have just copypasted bits from the first episodes of those two series, and then you've pretty much got 70-90% of the content of this episode.
Kantai Collection: Kan Colle
Strike Witches except with ships.
Nope. Just rewatch Girls und Panzer.
Brainwashed military pre-adult girls drive a tank through the wall of the boy's house just because.
Three minutes of herpa derpity derp. Nope.
Seiken Tsukai no World Break
Boy arrives at special school for special people; two girls immediately want into his pants and fight over him.
It's Absolute Duo with constant catfighting and fanservice. Nope.
Shinmai Maou no Testament
Boy gets new sisters as family members, and nobody in this family is what they appear to be.
It's hentai without the nudity (thus far) and sex (also thus far). Judging by the source material...it's only going to get worse.
Will be updated as I find new things to complain about.
