    • ScrewAttack at MAGFest 9 presents "How to grow your website into like a real business or something..."

      TomtheIronMan

No joke, that's how it was really listed on the MAGFest schedule, that's the official title of the panel. What a lot of people don't know about "Stuttering" Craig Skistimas is how scary smart he is when it comes to running ScrewAttack and the tough business decisions that need to be made in order to make a website successful. If you are going to go out and do what he did for ScrewAttack, it would behoove you to take a moment and watch this panel on how to do it right and the sacrifices that are often needed to make things right.

    • Wes Johnson Speaks panel at MAGFest 9

The great Wes Johnson making his first MAGFest appearance. The name might ring a bell as the PA announcer for the Washington Capitals, but he has had an "accidental" career in acting, voice acting, and improv comedy as he shows us here. Some of his notable characters are are Mr Burke and Fawkes the Super Mutant from Fallout 3, Lucian LaChance and Sheogorath from Oblivion, and a dead ringer for William Shatner as Captain James Tiberius Kirk in Star Trek Conquest.

    • Nolan Bushnell: Video Games in Retrospect at GameFest

      TomtheIronMan

GameFest continues with one of the founding fathers of video games: Nolan Bushnell. Nolan who back in 2010 return to Atari to join their board of directors, takes a moment out of his busy schedule to tell us how he got into the business after college. He dives back into where the first time he heard the term "video game" and all the risky business ventures he went through to launch Atari and kept it going during his time there. Not only does he look back, but also provides a personal insight of where things are going in the gaming world going forward. Quite enlightening.

    • A Conversation with Hideo Kojima at GameFest

      TomtheIronMan

The man, the myth, the legend, Hideo Kojima. During this panel, we learn about how he really got his start into the video game business and what his motivation/inspiration came from (and it's an interesting one for sure), methodology of his design, the advantages of being the producer of his projects in addition of being the director, his passions outside of game design, and a very small glimpse of what he has in store for us in the future.

Out of all the GameFest videos, this one I am most proud of to share with you. Please enjoy and watch it to the very end.
