I haven't been on in 5 years, judging by my last post. It's kind of cool to see what I was up to before myspace happened. Well hold on ... 5 years ago would have been 2008, my freshman/sophomore year in college. By then I was on Facebook. Oh the memories. It's weird to think back on how we used and viewed the internet. Cool stuff. Anyway, this whole post is just me saying "Hi" to anyone else who stumbles into this small exhibit of nostalgia.

If you don't read this whole thing, you're a good as a n00b.
So, it didn't end quite like I thought it would. I would like to congratulate caleb04 on being resourceful and finding the answer 6 seconds before WarriorDCBD. Of course, warrior didn't like that and bit back with 59 neg mods. Ouch. He wasn't happy at all. the funny thing is it hurt warrior more than it did caleb. Oh well. I only had 27 mods for the prize, but I intend to make it up for him. -in time. Anyway if you still want some contest action, ckeck out Heidi_07's journal. If you didn't get to yet , you should visit the website I've been working on for a while. I think that's all I can dish out right now. L8R!

    • Contest Finals!!! 20+ mods!

      UN4V41L48L3

Everyone can participate. All but one of the questions has been answered. This is starting to p*** people off, so I've hidden the answer in the forums. Somewhere. I didn't just post it in some random spot, though. So, wherever it is, it makes sense. Here's the question:

In what country is it considered a gracious gesture to wash someone's back in a public bath?

      Tip #1: it's post #2241

Ok, third time trying to post this. Maybe it'll work this time.
Nobody sent me any trivia , so I found my own. Most of the questions are about countries. Like, yay. However, I threw in an Atari question to make it interesting. So, Yay for real.

      RULES
YOU MUST READ THESE BEFORE PLAYING
      >>You must answer in the form of a comment on this journal to be considered.
      >>Your answer must be in list form or you will be neg-modded.
      >>I will comment and tell you how many you got correct. I will also PM you if you ask me to in your comment.
      >>Do not ask me which question(s) is(are) correct.
      >>You may answer more than once.
      >>No neg-modding whatsoever, or you the mods you gave will be trippled and given back to you. This goes for this journal and all comments on it.
      >>These rules may change with or without notice.

      QUESTIONS

      1. To make their hands look younger, what were women's gloves once made of?

      2. In what country is it considered a gracious gesture to wash another's back in a public bath? In fact, it's considered an insult to refuse if asked.

      3. What country often has camel races?

      4. In what country was a statue beheaded for murder?

      5. What country is the largest producer of gold?

      6. What day of the week was Atari officially incorporated?

      Ok, those are the questions.
After playing, please check out the new Brass Penguins Online website.

-still digging up "Remembering the old days 2"-

for now, i was hoping to collect some mods from everyone. i'm gonna do one of those trivia things and give some genius more mods than he/she deserves. if you donate leave a comment telling me how many you left. it's up to you guys to decide how much the winner gets. i mean, it wouldn't bother me if just a few points were donated; hardly anyone would play. that means i'd probably get to keep the points. so, it's up to you. also, if you give me a really good question and i use it, i'll give you 3-5 mods. okay, guys/gals. let's make this happen!

      mod count: 11

BTW: i have checked all the mods' threads on allowed and unallowed stuff. i am completely sure they don't mind this.

      Burnie Burns
      Executive Something

Burnie Burns is the creator and the head writer of Red vs. Blue. He began his career in media at the University of Texas when he and a group of friends discovered an unused low power VHF license. To the befuddlement of the FCC, Burnie and company used that license to create KVR9, the nation's first student-run 24-hour broadcast television station. While at KVR9, Burnie created the award winning show Sneak Peek, which promoted and held advanced screenings of first run films.

In April 2003, Burnie created Red vs. Blue, an episodic animated series that spread like wildfire across the Internet. Within nine months, the project went from its humble website debut to premiering at the prestigious Lincoln Center in New York City. Burnie's work has been featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, at BareNaked Ladies concerts, at the IMAX theater in San Jose, and as part of Microsoft Xbox promotions in every Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Target in the nation.

Red vs. Blue has been nominated for a Webby as "Best Humor" site, ranked at number 39 on FHM Magazine's "Top 100 Websites" and was awarded "Best Picture" and "Best Writing" 2003 by the Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences. Red vs. Blue continues to grow in popularity, drawing over 1 million viewers every week.

When Burnie is not producing Red vs. Blue and The Strangerhood, he enjoys sleeping and not answering the damn phone.

Burnie voices the characters "Church," "Vic" and "Lopez" in Red vs. Blue and "Griggs" and "Tovar" in The Strangerhood.

      Geoff Ramsey
      Corporate Banana

Geoff Ramsey is a 30 year old dude who hates zebras and has totally had sex with girls. He makes cartoons on the internet, and drinks alcohol to cope with his immense failures. He went to a bunch of different colleges a while back, but stopped when it got hard. His favorite word is bracket.

Geoff voices the characters "Grif" in Red vs. Blue and "Mysterious Voice" in The Strangerhood.

      Gustavo Sorola
      Regional Monkey

Failing to complete his undergraduate studies at Rice University, Gustavo Sorola decided to strike it rich by getting a job at a startup technology company. Failing to strike it rich, Gus moved to Puerto Rico and proclaimed himself legally dead for one year for "tax purposes." Failing to remain legally dead, he returned to the city of his birth, Austin, Texas. Gus now uses his technical knowledge to help ensure Rooster Teeth is able to deliver its content via the Internet. Gus loves kitties and his 1964 Chevy C10 that he named Michelle.

Gus voices the characters "Simmons" in Red vs. Blue and "Mysterious Voice" in The Strangerhood.

      Jason Salda–a
      Loquacious Expert

Jason Salda–a is a graduate of the University of Texas' Radio-Television-Film program, more popularly known as "pre-unemployment." When not ruining interviews by sharing irrelevant (but true!) information, Jason can be found playing with his band, Visitors. He is currently obsessed with the sliders from ReidoÕs, and the Ãâ€65 Chevy Impala SS.

Jason voices the character "Tucker" in Red vs. Blue and has not yet earned a part in The Strangerhood, though he promises his mother he will keep trying.

      Matt Hullum
      District Badonkadonk

According to his autobiography, Matt has worked as a visual effects producer and supervisor on such films as Clifford's Really Big Movie (2004), and The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie (2004). He had hoped to continue to work on more movies that have the word "movie" in the title, but instead decided to give up his fabulous Hollywood lifestyle to help distribute free videos on the Internet. To that end, Matt now works for Rooster Teeth Productions on the ongoing series Red vs. Blue and The Strangerhood. During his free time, he enjoys annoying his wife and son with his wicked fresh guitar solos and writing about himself in the third person.

Matt voices the characters "Sarge" and "Doc" in Red vs. Blue and "Dutchmiller" in The Strangerhood.
