I'm sitting here at my new job (PC Consultants) keeping watch on the office today. Honestly it's kind of boring. All this week I've been searching for the appropriate drivers to this computer, built by one of our advanced tech guys, after re-installing the operating system. It's been hell really, I got all but one driver installed with minimal problems, I thought I simply downloaded the drivers for a similar, yet incorrect model number. So I double check the numbers again, and it turns out, the website doesn't even have drivers listed for the model I have......which doesn't make any sense.......So what drivers did I just install that have everything but one USB port working properly? So just for the hell of it I downloaded a similar driver package and now I have 2 missing drivers.......
But enough about that. My sister's girlfriend (Amber) recently had her graduation party, and that was a blast! I asked her if she was planning on doing anything stupid and/or memorable during the party.....and when she replied with a "no" I immediately began concocting a plan as I casually drank 3 cans of Coke. *devious grin* I rallied a few people together (whom I've never met before) and told them that I was planning on capturing Amber and tossing her into the pool . Well it turns out my sister also liked this idea, but wanted to give Amber fair warning. So Amber changed her clothes and went about tending to her guests. Just to be nice I waited until most of the temporary guests were saying their goodbyes, then I struck! I chased her for maybe 15 feet before she gave up, I marched her over to the pool and dropped her in .
Just to be supportive, my sister also let me drop her into the pool as well! Then about 15 minutes later everyone had changed into their bathing attire and we all swam for a few hours, eating cold pizza all the while. Now she'll have something to remember! After she climbed out I thanked her for being such a good sport and gave her a big hug (getting me nice and wet too), just in case she was harboring some hard feelings and just wasn't showing them.
I also made her a custom created graduation card, wrapped in black tissue paper and decorated with my evil, devious-grin, smiley. I figured she'd like it since she, my sister, and I all share similar tastes when it comes to art, decor, and clothing..... So I was very happy when she finally got around to opening the cards and gave me a really big smile and hug when she got to my card.
