I know I said this last year, but this years RTX experience was the best I've had! It is always so wonderful meeting new people and/or having familiar faces say "Hey Daniel!". I have got so many wonderful memorable moments from RTX (I went as a Platinum Badge holder), which began on Wednesday for me.

As I got into Austin for the weekend, I was met by a RTX digital banner at the airport that Michelle from the Design Cave/crew worked on, which was really cool seeing! I then headed to my hotel & got checked in. The rest of the afternoon consisted of getting some food, chilling out & seeing & chatting with Adam Baird, Megan Castro from Sales & Tim Goessling from Marketing. It was so wonderful seeing & chatting with them! Was a really good start to my RTX weekend.

Thursday was my official start of my RTX. I headed over to The Coop about an hour before it was open. While waiting in line I got to meet Elliott (Ghostelliott), & see John (Emalfognik/Kingoflame) and Arnold (Murderofbirds)! As always, it was so wonderful seeing & chatting with them in person! After a while, I was able to go in & grab some stuff: 2 RWBY Hoodies, a RWBY shirt, A RWBY Hat, RWBY Bandana set, & a Wes Ellis print (Barbara Dunkelman). While in there I met Wes Ellis, Nathan (Marketing), Tony Simonetta & Josh Bailey from the Design Cave, & Frankie (Sr eCommerce Manager)! It was so, so wonderful meeting them all! On my way back, I bumped into Bethany Feinstein. We had a wonderful chat about RTX weekend & the Coop & got a pic. Always wonderful seeing Bethany & the Events team! I stopped by the convention center to pick up my RTX bag & headed back to the hotel. After putting the stuff I got at the Coop in my hotel room, I decided to chill out in the hotel lobby til it was time to head to FIRST Night at the Paramount that afternoon/evening. While chilling, I saw & chatted with Brian Reilly from RT Games, Chad from Screw Attack, Texas Dela Rosa (Always Open/Bartender/Makeup Artist), & Brooke Olson (recruiter for RT, I believe). All so wonderful to see and meet! Then it was time to head over to the Paramount for FIRST Night. This years FIRST Night was a screening of a bunch of upcoming shows from Live Action: Achievement Haunter, the new RT Doc "Waiting for the Punchline", "the Weird Place", "Hardcore Tabletop", & Arizona Circle". Everything that was shown was so entertaining & awesome and I am so looking forward to all of those shows! Before the screenings, I saw & chatted with Bethany again & met Amanda (RT's Social Media Manager) & Maxie (RT's Social Media Coordinator). Also got to chat with Dan Hirons (Editor- Blood Fest). After the screenings, I was able to see & chat with a couple of the people who worked on a couple of the shows shown: Hannah McCarthy (Producer/Writer - "Hardcore Tabletop", "Waiting for the Punchline") & Jessica Vasami (Associte Producer - "Arizona Circle"). it was so wonderful seeing everyone & chatting! I then headed back to my hotel to end Day 0 of my RTX weekend (I also happened to bump into Josh Flanagan [Writer/Live Action] and Alex Leonard & Laurin Crozier from RT Animation!) .

Day 1 of RTX 2018 was finally here! I headed up to the convention center round 9 AM so I could head into the Expo Hall for Platinum's early access. When I was able to head in, I headed straight to the RT Store. I was able to get to get almost everything I wanted (had to come back for a few things that weren't out yet): RTX 2018 shirt, Blood Fest shirt, Yang Japanese RWBY shirt, RTX Exclusive RWBY Flat Figure, Day 5 Blu-ray, Always open Sticker, & Belle Tee and the La Vie Mockneck Top from the Barbara Dunkelman Collection! While in the Expo hall I bumped into Mariel Salcedo (Always open/Broadcast), Amanda and Maxie again, Stan Lewis (Editor - RT Animation), as well as Andrea Capriotti, Ian Kedward, & Cesar Altagracia from RT animation. It's so wonderful getting to chat with all of them! After wheeling around a bit, I had to head to my first signing of the weekend: Arryn Zech & Kara Eberle! It may have been brief, but it was so nice to see Arryn & Kara again! After my signing I headed over to the "Women of Rooster Teeth" panel with Doreen Copeland (Live Action), Yssa Badiola (Lead 2D Animator - RT Animation), Barbara Dunkelman (Director of Community & Social Marketing), Sophie Turcotte (PR Manager), Bethany Feinstein (Head of Events), Frankie (Sr. eCommerce Manager), Anna Hullum (Voice of Raven Branwen in RWBY), & Chelsea Atkinson (Community Manager for RT). Really loved hearing them talk about what they do at/for RT & what it's like being a woman in the industry. After the panel, I had a wonderful chat with Chelsea Atkinson. Then I headed back to the Expo Hall to wheel around for a bit. While heading in, I had a brief hello & hug with Melanie Stern (Recently became an Assistant Lead Animator on RWBY!). Stopped by the RT Store one more time & was able to pick up few more things: New Always Open shirt & Always Open Print (with Barbara and Mariel). Also picked up my RTXclusive RT Box & picked up a copy of RT Comics #1 by Luke McKay! Later that evening I was on my way to the screening & Q&A for Blood Fest! Before the movie started, Barbara Dunkelman came over to say hi to me as she was walking by. It is always so wonderful chatting with & seeing Barbara! After a brief chat & a couple pics, Blood Fest started. Watching Blood Fest with a thousand or so RT Community members made it so fun! Whenever someone we recognized came on screen, the entire theater erupted in cheer! Blood Fest was so entertaining & fun, had had the right amount of Horror/comedy mix, & the cast and crew killed it! (I am really looking forward to seeing it again in a theater on August 14th! After the movie was done, the Director & some of the cast came on stage to do a fun Q&A. After that was done, I went back to my hotel to end my first day of RTX 2018!

Day 2 of RTX 2018. I decided to head on over to the convention center first thing in the morning. After getting in, I headed to the Expo Hall. Once inside there, I bumped into Grace (Zonbi) & Adam Ellis (Gilby). It was really wonderful seeing them both! After wheeling round a bit, I headed to the Always Open panel. Ever since it became an RTX panel, Always Open has been a must see in-person for me! This years panel (With Barbara Dunkelman, Elyse Willems, Jessica Nigri, Mariel Salcedo, & Texas Dela Rosa) was so hilarious & entertaining AND had a proposal from an audience/community member! After the panel (and chatting with Texas a bit), I headed back down to the Expo Hall. As I wheeled around I was able to bump into: Owen Egerton (Director - Blood Fest), Michael Lindblad (RT Broadcast), Ritzplays (Twitch Streamer), Ray Narvaez Jr, Tyler Coe, Cole Gallian, Larry & Kent (from AH Post Production), Marcus Laporte (Production/Set Designer - Art Department), Max Kruemcke (Art Director - Art Department), & Patrick (from Broadcast)! I was so awesome seeing so many wonderful people! After wheeling around a for bit, I headed to my second signing of the weekend: Bethany & Texas! It is always so wonderful chatting with them whenever I can! After the signing, I headed back into the Expo Hall for bit to pass the time. Almost immediately, I bumped into & met Anna Hullum! It was so wonderful getting to chat with & see Anna. a bit later, I headed back to my hotel & got some dinner. After dinner, I chilled out a bit in the lobby before I had to head over to the Jeff Williams concert. As I was chilling, I was able to meet & briefly chat with Ellie Main (The Lab). It was so wonderful to finally meet her! A while later, it was time to head to the Jeff Wiliams concert at the Moody Theater (ACL). One of the best nights I've had started out with Jeff Williams getting myself & one other person into the VIP area & Q&A! Was really nice hearing Jeff & Casey answer questions from the Community members ho were there! After the Q&A, we were allowed to grab a poster signed by both Jeff & Casey! After that, I got back in a spot up close to the stage. While we waited for the show to start, The Community members who were there sung aloud songs from RWBY, RvB, Linkin Park, Queen, & quite a few more! it was a truly amazing experience. After a while, Ritchie Branson (Rapper/Camp Camp) came up on stage & sung a few of his songs. Really loved Ritchie's performance! After Ritchie's set was over, Jeff, Casey & co. came up on stage. Just like 2016, their performance was SO, SO AMAZING! Being a part of a couple thousand + Community members singing along to RWBY songs from Volumes 1-6 was just so amazing & wonderful! Getting to experience that from front row made that experience even more memorable! The concert lasted until midnight, but the energy I got from it made me not as tired. I headed back to my hotel with another memorable concert over.

Sunday AKA last day of RTX 2018. Panel wise, it was my most filled day with the RWBY panel first, then the RT docs panel, followed by the Events Team panel to finish off the weekend. I headed over to the convention center first thing in the morning for the RWBY panel. Once inside the panel room & found a spot, I had a bit of time to just chill. As the panel room was filling up, I was able to have a chat with Melanie Stern. It was wonderful getting to chat for bit before the panel started, & I congratulated her on becoming an Assistant Lead Animator for RWBY. After a bit the panel started. The RWBY panel had Lindsay Jones, Paula Decanini, Gray Haddock, Kara Eberle, Miles Luna, Barbara Dunkelman, Kerry Shawcross, & Arryn Zech (from left to right). I have to say, everything that was shown at the panel was so amazing, cool, & exciting! I am really looking forward to RWBY Volume 6, as well as gen:LOCK! After the panel, I had another wonderful chat with Melanie. We talked about how amazing everything was, & asked if she worked on anything shown, which she did! It is always so wonderful getting to chat with Melanie. After the RWBY panel, I headed back into the Expo Hall for one last trip around it. While wheeling around, I was able to meet Jack Pattillo, Patrick R. from RT Animation, & Brian Ardt. When I went to wheel around the hall of the convention center, I bumped into Caiti Ward, Rachel Doda (Story/Layout Artist - RT Animation), & Gio Coutinho (Lead Rigging Artist - RT Animation). it was so wonderful seeing everyone in the Expo Hall & around the convention center! Then it cam time for the RT Docs panel with Hannah McCarthy, Mat Hames, & Alpheus Media. Listening to Hannah, Mat, & co. talk about their experiences making docs was so insightful & wonderful! The RT Docs has been a favorite of mine from RT, & I am so looking forward to watching "Waiting for the Punchline"! After the panel, I had such a wonderful chat with Hannah. It's always so, so wonderful chatting with Hannah! After multiple hugs & goodbyes, it was tie for my final panel of the weekend, the RT Events Team panel with Bethany, Clarissa Gonzalez, Patrick Mathews, Nicole Wright, & Shelby Engquist. It was really insightful hearing from the events team & listening to them talk about they went through to make RTX 2018. The Events team continually brings their A game & this year they really knocked it out of the park again! After the panel was oer & I thanked the team for their work for this weekend, I headed back to my hotel to get some food & unwind from the weekend. As I was unwinding, I was able to see Jen Brown, Josh Flanagan, & Koen Wooten (Lead Producer - RT Animation) It was so wonderful seeing them to cap off the weekend.

Through out the weekend I was able to meet so many wonderful people from the community I've only interacted through Social Media. Those people are Elliott (Ghostellliott), John (Emalfognik/kingoflame), Arnold (Murderofbirds), Johannah (Horseychick119), Tanya (TanyanotZuul), Tasha (Smallspades), Jenn (RT_Lozelda), Mary (SailorTweek), Tabi (Tabikatz), Mary (MercyMmere), Abbie (RT_Abbie), Max (Agentwashingtub), Tori (ToriJCaboose), David (DJ_Paint), Dakota (Kodalovesray), & Lauren (lauren_edensor). it was so, SO wonderful finally meeting so many wonderful people & seeing some familiar faces as well!

This ends another recap. it was truly one of, if not the best RTX weekend I've had so far! Getting to meet & see so many wonderful people & see some amazing stuff with the RT Community! My excitement for RTX 2019 started on that Thursday & only intensified as the weekend went on. I am so looking forward to being back in Austin, Texas for another RTX weekend!

Hope to see a lot of you next year! - Daniel "Wheelz08" Starrett

Year 3 of attending RTX is in the books. RTX Austin this year was by far my best experience so far! Getting to meet and see so many wonderful people & coming away with many memorable moments made it so. It really all kicked off on Day 0 (Thursday) of RTX.

While waiting to head to the convention center to pick up my badge, I bumped into & had a nice chat with Adam Baird. A little while after, I decided to head down to the convention center a bit early. Wheeling around the ACC I bumped into a couple awesome Guardian friends (Tasha & Johannah). After hugs were exchanged, it was time to get in line for badge pick up. While in line, Alex (3D Comp. artist), as well as Jackie, Jenn, & Mary all came up to say hi & exchange hugs. It's always so nice to see & chat with the Guardians who help with RTX. A little closer to badge pick up time, I was pulled aside & interviewed about RTX! Little did I know, it was supposedly on TV & a clip from it would be used in a Thank You recap video posted by Rooster Teeth! I finally picked up my badges & headed back to the hotel. About an hour later, I bumped into Barbara (Dunkelman) in the lobby of the hotel I was at. It can never be said enough, Barbara is one of the kindest, hilarious, talented, wonderful, & lovely human beings I've met & it's always so nice getting to see & have a chat with her. After we said our see you later's, & a few hours pass by, it was time for my first event of the weekend, #Day5 FIRST Night! While I can't say anything about it, if you loved season 1, you're gonna love season 2 even more. Also, it was so nice seeing the cast & crew behind it! So ends Day 0 of RTX Austin.

The morning of Day 1 had a surprise run in with Geoff Ramsey at the hotel elevators (what makes this is that I had to go back to my room to get something I had left). I was so caught off guard, that I only was able to ask for a picture. After that chance run in, I headed down to the convention center to get in line for the VIP Expo Hall early access. There were a few things I wanted to get, which I did get. Shout out & thank you again to Chelsea for helping me out with getting my RTXclusive RT Box! After I picked up my RT Box & a couple of things from the RT Store, I headed to my first Autograph signing (Barbara & Gus). Having Barbara "beatbox" my name & finally meeting Gus had me smiling. Also, a sort of surreal moment was being able to show Barbara & Gus my Million Dollars, But... Community pack card that made it into the Community Expansion pack for the game. Having Barbara go "Hey, that's YOU!" when realizing my RT site name was on the card topped it off! After the signing & pictures and saying our see you later's, I headed back into the Expo Hall until it was time for my next Autograph session (Adam Ellis & Joel). While wheeling around the Expo Hall I bumped into Adam Ellis & Grace (Zonbi) [They both are so kind & wonderful], Trevor Collins, & Ben & Justin from RT Broadcast, & Brian Reilly from RT Games! After wheeling around for a bit, it was time to head to my signing with Adam Ellis & Joel. It was so nice seeing & chatting with both Adam & Joel, and Adam thanking me for always hanging out/watching when he streams was nice! (his Twitch streams are always fun to watch! If you haven't, you should check one out!) After my final signing of the weekend, I headed back to the hotel. While waiting for the first panel I wanted to attend to start, I bumped into Texas (You may have seen him on Always Open & the RT Podcast). Both of us wanting to meet each other made it a memorable moment. It was so nice to finally meet Texas in person! After bumping into Texas, I bumped into Jesse, & Davi (again) from the Day 5 cast! All the Day 5 cast & crew are wonderful. After that, it was time for my first panel of the weekend, the (FIRST Only) Ladies of RT panel. It was awesome hearing from the badass ladies (Barbara Dunkelman (Marketing), Bethany Feinstein (Events), Ashley Jenkins (The Know), Mariel Salcedo (Broadcast), Jessica Vasami (Live Action), Maggie Tominey (2D Producer/Animation), & Megan Castro (Sales)) who run a majority of Rooster Teeth. After the panel, it was time to get ready for the VIP party. That VIP party was a highlight of my weekend. The bands that played were awesome & meeting everyone I did made it an unforgettable night. I got to meet Sophie (RT PR), Jack (I got a fist bump from Jack!) & Caiti, Jeremy Dooley, Stan Lewis & Michael Lindblad, Jon Risinger & Gray Haddock. I also met quite a few community members as well (like Pink Portrait)! The VIP party capped a(nother) solid day of my RTX Austin trip.

Day 2 of RTX Austin begun with the Always Open panel. After watching Always Open for the first 2 seasons & a RTX Sydney panel online, it was so awesome being in the audience of one of your favorite shows! Laughs were had & all round a fun panel, even got to witness the marriage between Bethany & Mariel (w/ Barbara being the ordained Minister). After the Always Open panel, I had some time to wheel around. I bumped into Shannon McCormick right before I had to get to my next panel. Up next on the panel schedule was the Ladies of Animation panel. Right before the panel started I saw & chatted with Chris Demarais. Again, hearing from the awesome ladies (Kim Newman, Yssa Badiola, Paula Decanini, Rachel Doda, Gio Coutinho, Laurin C. & a few others) of animation was, well awesome! After the panel I got to see & have nice chats with Melanie Stern & Kim Newman, both from 3D Animation. As I was heading back to my hotel, I bumped into Gaelfox, another awesome artist/cosplayer community member. At the hotel, Jessica Vasami saw me and ran up to me. She wanted to meet me & thanked me for all the kind words I've said. That was another unforgettable moment, having someone who inspires you want to meet you as much as you wanted to meet them. A bit after bumping into Jessica, I met Tyler Coe. Tyler was another awesome individual I met. Soon after meeting Tyler, I saw Kerry Shawcross & Yssa Badiola. It was so nice seeing & chatting with both Kerry & Yssa. After that I saw Chad James from Screw Attack. I told him I'd be rooting for him in the Mario Party game that night. At that point I'd made up my mind to go to the Game attack Mario Party (3) game panel that night. Like last years game, the Game Attack Mario Party game was crazy fun! The vibe in that room ramping up as the game progressed was amazing! It was a great way to end Day 2!

The morning of Day 3 had me in a panel room 3 hours before the panel started, but in the end it was so worth it. I bumped into Arnold/MurderofBirds) About an hour and a half to 2 hours before the panel started, the entire room of a few THOUSAND attendees broke out in a sing-along. By the end of it, Queens Bohemian Rhapsody started & that's when my most unforgettable moment happened. Singing along with a few thousand people with Gray Haddock joining in was just something so special. After that the (FIRST Only) RWBY panel begun. Hearing from Kerry Shawcross, Miles Luna, Gray Haddock, Vic Mignogna, Lindsay Jones, Kara Eberle, Arryn Zech & Barbara Dunkelman was pretty awesome, & getting to see some upcoming stuff was amazing as well! After the RWBY panel I wheeled around the 3 floor for a bit before my next (and last panel of the weekend). I bumped into Matt Peake, who recognized me from a previous RTX! Then, thanks to Texas Dela Rosa, I got to meet Mariel Salcedo! Mariel thanked me for being a supporter of Always Open (which is a helpful, hilarious, & wonderful show, check it out if you haven't!). It was so wonderful to finally meet Mariel & chat a bit. Again thank you Texas! After that I bumped into the Broadcast crew where I met Nick Schwartz! It was so nice meeting the awesome crew behind my favorite shows! Then it was time for the last panel I attended, the Animation Festival - Tips & Tricks with the 3D Animators of RT. That was a really great panel & I got a better understanding of 3D animation from Austin Hardwicke, Paula Decanini, Kim Newman, Asha Bishi, Ian Kedward, Melanie Stern, & Harley Dwortz, among others in the room. After the panel I saw & chatted with Melanie Stern one more time. It was so wonderful seeing & chatting with Melanie & seeing a little behind the scenes of her work. After the panel I headed back to the hotel. RTX may have ended, but there was still seeing people before I left to be had! When I got to the hotel, Jen Brown was doing a little meet up it seemed. I went over to say hi. It was so wonderful seeing Jen again & chatting a bit. After Jen had left, I bumped into Barbara (who was holding a big box)one final time. Again, it was so wonderful getting to see & chat with her outside the convention & at the signing. We snapped one more picture & had a brief chat then said our "see-you-later's". After chatting with Barbara, I saw Josh Flanagan. We talked briefly about Day 5 (again, looking forward to season 2!) & snapped a couple pics. After that I bumped into Hannah who does the RT Life videos. I thanked her for her work on them & she wanted to get a picture with me! That was yet another memorable moment. It was so nice to meet Hannah.

Thus ended my weekend. After I left the hotel, I ended up eating at Gus' World Famous Fried Chicken, on the recommendation of Adam Ellis. It. was. DELICIOUS! Some of the best fried chicken I've had. Then it was off to the airport where one last surprise was in store for me, bumping into Bruce Greene, Elyse Willems & James Willems, & Adam Kovic! It was a perfect way to end my RTX Austin trip.

I can not thank everyone I saw/met, the badass RTX Guardians, & Rooster Teeth (especially Events team) enough. This year marked my third RTX overall, & it won't be my last. From the second I got home, I've been thinking about next years event. I can not wait to back in Austin, TX, surrounded by awesome & wonderful people again. I definitely will try for VIP again as well!

Til next year. - Daniel "Wheelz08" Starrett

To Jack, Caiti, the awesome & badass broadcast crew, Chelsea, Barbara, GameAttack, Funhaus, #2Spooky Crew, & everyone in between: thank YOU! This year I managed 20-ish hours, & those 20 hours were the absolute best I've had all year! I don't think an hour went by where I didn't have a good, hard laugh. It was pretty cool getting a shout out from Caiti, Jack, & co. at the start of the stream when I donated $500.

Everything about this years stream was top notch, and even Notch himself made quite the appearances. The "Wheel of Destiny" challenges were crazy, but amazing! And everyone brought their own spin to the stream. What I'll remember most are all the "Wheel of Destiny" challenges as well as Michael's announcement. Hope the new owner loves the wheel! The return of Rob Boss and #2Spooky were phenomenal as always. RT Games stepped big! GameAttack brought their A+ game. The Improv portion with Shannon, Jen Brown & Co. was magical and such a joy to watch. Seriously, everyone that I've watched this year kicked so much ass! Like the years before, RT Extra Life has reminded me why I love not only the wonderful group of people who work at Rooster Teeth, but why I'm proud to be a member of this awesome community. Y'all seriously stepped up to the challenge and knocked it out of the park with 2016.

Being born with Spina Bifida and spending basically your childhood in a hospital makes events like RT Extra Life a little bit more special (for me). So to help out and give back is a no brainer. I will continue to be a part of RT Extra Life for as long as there is one to be done!

So again, thank you Jack, Caiti, broadcast, Barbara and everyone at Rooster Teeth for creating another memorable RT Extra Life experience. And again, I can never thank RT Broadcast enough for their dedication to a smooth and fantastic stream. As usual y'all kicked ass and made that stream what it is. I love you all in broadcast.

This year is one I won't forget. I can not wait to see what you guys will do for 2017. You all are seriously the absolute best and I can never thank you enough for all the laughs and entertainment you've given me. THANK YOU ROOSTER TEETH FAMILY! <3

After finishing the premiere of Volume 4, I really only have one word for it: Beautiful. The animation, the style/look, the sound/music, & the story telling are all beautifully done! The wait was definitely worth it for me, as I could not stop smiling, start to finish. I can not wait to get re-immersed back into the world of Remnant, a world I love so much.

I absolutely love the new/updated look to Volume 4. Each Volume of RWBY looks better/more beautiful then the last. While watching episode one, I had to glance around the screen taking in all of what was on it. Everything from characters to the world looks incredible! And the sound/music is a beautiful compliment to it. I couldn't help but sing along in my head to the instrumentals. Also Casey and Jeff Williams created another fantastic opening song for Volume 4! I'll probably have that on repeat. While I'm on the opening/intro, can I just say that is amazing/beautiful as well? Definitely is my favorite opening animation. The team kicked so much ass on it!

To Miles, Kerry, Gray, Koen, and all of CRWBY: thank you. Thank you all for your hard work on such a beautiful and fantastic show! I, for one, am so excited to go on the journey that is RWBY Volume 4. Love you CRWBY! <3

    • Day 5

Wheelz08 FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold

*knocks down imaginary door* HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS, DAY 5!

That has been my reaction with each episode of Day 5 that has come out til now. Today is the (season one [wanting another season, by the way]) finale of Day 5. The show has captivated me from the start and hasn't disappointed me. Josh, Chris, Aaron & the Day 5 crew have made one of if not the best productions I've seen come out of RT. Every thing about the show has been top notch. Love the story they have told through each episode. The directing from Josh, Chris and Aaron were phenomenal! And the entire cast have done a phenomenal job.

The cast; the cast has has been the biggest thing I love about Day 5. Each and every single character felt just as important to the story as Ally, Ellis, Jake, & Sam. Flip (Barbara Dunkelman) is one of those characters. She may not have a lot of screen time, but her entire scene with Jake in Episode 2 has been one of my favorite scenes & her "You're wanted in Slumberland little Nemo. Run along, the princess is crying for you" line stood out to me. All credit to Barbara for her phenomenal job as the Goddess of Slumberland (you absolutely killed it!)! It was so amazing seeing actors/actresses I've seen in lighthearted/fun roles completely nail a more serious role (looking at you, Barbara, Jen Brown, & Joel ;]).

So to Josh, Chris, Aaron, Jesse, Walker, Davi, Stephanie, Lee Eddy, Shannon McCormick, Barbara, Alisha, Katie F., Caiti, Jen Brown, Joel Heyman, Burnie, Matt Hullum & the rest of the Day 5 cast & crew: thank YOU for a phenomenal season of Day 5. I can't wait to watch the finale & I would love to see another season of it!

EDIT: HOLY SHIT THAT SEASON ONE FINALE WAS PHENOMENAL!

Last night was amazing and so much fun! Thanks to Rooster Teeth & Tugg, I was able to go watch RWBY Volume 2 in theaters. Watching RWBY (vol.1 &2) on the big screen is a whole other (awesome) experience. I got to not only see my favorite series, but also saw it with people I recognize from the Vol. 1 screening. It really was an experience I will cherish and I can not wait to watch Volume 3 (that will be a roller coaster of emotions) the same way! I just want to thank all at Rooster Teeth and Tugg who helped make these screenings happen! And to Gray, Miles, Kerry, Lindsay, Kara, Arryn, Barbara & the entire RWBY cast and crew, thank YOU! Y'all help bring one of my favorite series to life! I seriously can not wait for Volume 4 (as well!) <3

My second RTX is in the books. Since coming home from RTX last year, I'd been looking forward to going back to Austin and experiencing it all again. This past weekend was by far, the most unforgettable 5 days of my life! My RTX 2016 experience started on Wednesday afternoon/evening right after checking into my hotel. I was chilling in the lobby., when Barbara walks in, see's me and says "Hi Daniel!" It's been said before, but Barbara really is one of the kindest, wonderful human beings I've met, which seems be the case with all RT staff. It was so nice to catch up/talk for a bit before RTX started. That really set the (awesome) tone for how the weekend would go.

Thursday, the day before RTX2016 officially started. I had designated this day to get my bearings of Austin again. I visited the convention center, well outside of it at least. Then went back to the hotel when I was done. Once back I bumped into Walker (Day 5's Sam) and a fellow community member, Arnold AKA Murder of Birds. It was really awesome getting to chat with them both. They're both After chatting for a bit, it was time to pick up my badge. Went up, got my badge then came back to the lobby where I bumped into Jesse (Day 5's Jake). Just like Walker, Jesse was incredibly and it was awesome chatting with him. I then met Bruce Greene from Funhaus and the awesome head guardian pair, GeekyFriedRice (Jackie) and Lozelda (Jenn). All amazing to meet and talk to. I also met RitzPlays, & Lawrence, Elyse, James and Dan from Funhaus, again all were amazing. Then came the first big event of the weekend, the RTSidequest Charity Auction.

This Charity Auction was something I'd been looking forward to and man was it an amazing time. Getting to meet Daniel (Allman) and Amber along with a few other RTSidequest folk was really awesome. They are all amazing people working for an awesome cause. While there I saw & met some more awesome people. I hung out with Thom (Greencastellan) & a couple other community members. Also saw/talked to Chelsea (Awesome RT campaign/sponsor manager), Stan Lewis, Josh O., Mica, Arryn Zech, Marcus (badass designer at RT), Caleb, and Matt Hullum. AND at the end of the night, I even won a signed RWBY Grimm Eclipse script brought in from the RT Games guys.

Day 1 of RTX 2016. Day 1 started off by being in the audience of Barbara and Gus' kick off interview, which I may or may not have been (camera guy panned through audience where I was) a part of! After that I immediately went to my first panel, RWBY. What I saw at that panel gave me chills and excited me for all things RWBY. the team has really stepped up on Volume 4 and it shows. I can not wait to see the full volume. After the RWBY panel I went to the Ladies of RT Animation panel and got to learn a little bit more of the awesome ladies who work on some of my favorite shows. It was great hearing them talk about what it's like working at RT and that working there is amazing! After the panel I got to meet and talk with Melanie, who animates for shows like RWBY Chibi and RWBY Vol. 3. It was really great finally meeting her! After getting back to the hotel I bumped into Adam Baird, Jen Brown, Max Bernard, Davi Jay And Stephanie D. (Day 5's Ellis and Ally). Again all were super nice and awesome to chat to. I also saw Gray and told him how much I loved the RWBY panel. We talked for a bit about RWBY before I went to my room for the night.

Day 2 of RTX 2016. Day 2 Started off with my signing session with Arryn and Barbara. The session started with the room erupting into "Happy Birthday" (song) [to Barbara, it was her birthday] when Barbara and Arryn arrived. It was wonderful getting to chat some more with them. It was nice to finally meet Arryn this year, very kind and just all around wonderful. Again, two wonderful people and it's always a pleasure talking with them. I said my goodbyes and said Happy Birthday to Barbara one more time. After my signing, I bumped into Aaron and Lynn Marquis, Yssa B., David Levy, and Andy from RT Games. Then came a huge highlight of the weekend, the Jeff Williams concert. Getting to watch and listen to Casey and Jeff play live is just perfect. Listening to Songs like "I Burn" "I May Fall" "Cold" and a bunch more was chilling and adrenaline pumping awesome! Singing along to my favorite songs being performed live was amazing. I can't thank Casey, Jeff and everyone on that stage enough for an amazing concert!

Day 3 of RTX. Day 3 started off with the RT Podcast Panel. I laughed and I gagged. All in all an amazing Podcast! I even met Jon Risinger right before the panel started. After the RT Podcast I decided to go and check out Barbara's Yang group photo. a few minutes after arriving to the spot (I was 30 minutes early) we were notified that the photo op would also be a signing session. I decided to get in line because I wanted to thank Barbara (in person) for her work on RTX and didn't know if I'd see her again. When she saw me in line, she waved and smiled, which I waved and smiled back. When it got to be my turn, she joked about how I should see other awesome people (we had seen each other four days in a row at this point). I got to say my thanks and I even got my badge signed and a couple photos (RT Site profile pic is from that). After the impromptu signing I headed to my last Panel of RTX, The RT Community Reacts Panel (MurderofBirds, Bellison, Niriall, Megan "Themeguin" Salinas and Katie "Kiaxet" Cullen which was a lot of fun. Was great seeing what they put into their videos and them talking bout their craft. After the panel I bumped into Craig "RealLadderMan", Chris Demarais, Zach Anner, Adam Kovic, Gray and Kerry and the wonderful Mary "SailorTweek". It was so incredible meeting and speaking with each and every one of them!

To me, that was a perfect end to a memorable RTX experience. I seriously can not thank Adam, Emily, Alex, Rachel, Bethany, Gus, Barbara, Megan and Nadia AKA The kickass RTX Event team, enough for creating such a fantastic and well run convention. I also can not thank Jackie (GeekyFriedRice), Jenn (Lozelda), Mary (SailorTweek), Chris (Sirnarvy) and the other 550 or so kickass RTX 2016 guardians who helped make RTX run smoothly this year! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU EVERYONE! To those I met, hope to see you all for RTX 2017! <3 Daniel "Wheelz08" Starrett

Wheelz08 FIRST Member Star(s) Indication of membership status - One star is a FIRST member, two stars is Double Gold

It's Rooster Teeth's 13th birthday today and I wanted to collect all my thoughts in one post so here goes.

Back in Summer of 2008 my friend while over at my house said "Hey, watch this" and went on Youtube and searched for a video. That video was Red vs. Blue Season 1 Episode 1. I remember I had to pause the video a few times since I was laughing so hard. It took me about a week to catch up/watch all of the current episodes of RvB that were out at the time. At the time I didn't know who/what this Rooster Team was but I knew they made one hell of a (hilarious) machinama series.

Soon after discovering RvB I heard/saw of another RT channel, Achievement Hunter. From the get go of me watching, Geoff and Jack had me hooked on this new idea of AH. From the achievement guides to AHWU, everything AH was a must watch for me. Then came the Let's Plays and everything changed. AH's LP's have always been amazing to watch. Having Michael, Ray, Ryan, and Gavin join in was awesome to see. The commentary along with the gameplay has always been top notch hilarity! watching AH grow to what it is today was awesome to see. Jeremy has filled in nicely in the "Main Room Six".

Along with AH's growth, watching RvB grow to Season 14 has been nothing but pure excitement and enjoyment. RT Animation from the start has always kicked ass while improving immensely. When RT announced Monty Oum's anime series "RWBY", I was intrigued by it. Watching the "Red Trailer, I was hooked. Loved the animation and fighting in it. The White and Black trailers helped grow the hype I had for the series. By the time the Yellow Trailer hit and I watched it, I was sold on the series as a must watch. Seeing RWBY evolve into what it is today at end of Volume 3 has been just pure enjoyment. Monty, thank you for creating such a beautiful world where I get lost in with each Volume. Going from RWBY to shows like X-Ray and Vav was quite the lovely leap. X-Ray and Vav started out as a silly Gavin flub in an achievement guide that blossomed into one hilarious (short) series. With today's announcements of Camp Camp and RWBY Chibi, I am beyond excited for what RT Animation has been (no doubt) working their butts off to make.

I hold RvB and AH close to my heart as they were what opened the door to this Rooster Teeth family. I mean just last year, I attended my first RTX(2015). That was by far my greatest experience of RT. Getting to meet some of the RT staff and have them be the most wonderful bunch I have ever met made the trip unforgettable. I thank every single person I me there! I've been a part of this family for 8 years and am eternally grateful for everyone, staff or community member I've met in person or online since. HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY ROOSTER TEETH! Here's to 13 plus more years of hilarious and entertaining content, I less than 3 all of you! ~ Daniel "Wheelz08" Starrett
