Yeah I wrote one. It's my photography in the past few years along with my writing of the past couple years. I have really gotten into poetry as a form of personal expression. Philosophy is one of the features of existence that really makes my life purposeful in my mind. It is one of the most stimulating intellectual pursuits that exists, in my opinion.

You can preview it here or you can even order one if you have some extra monees. I specifically didn't set any profit for the sales, so that my friends could buy them as cheap as possible.

It's been a fucking long ass time since I updated.

Been writing a book lately, poetry and photography. I'm done with 60 pages, have about 20 more to work on, so it'll have 80 pages total. I haven't posted really any of my poetry on here because I'd rather conceal it from the cold, annihilating eyes of the internet. Well that, and I have my friends in real life read it.

That's really why I haven't been online much at all either, I have a real life more than a virtual one. I'm pleased in this fact, but it's no different than spending your time on the computer. You're going to die at some point, live how you want. I will always reminisce about the hilarious times I've had on this website though.

Umm, College is fucking great I guess. I mean I'm volunteering to do it now so it's definitely not as irritating as the public school system. Don't see all those stupid fucks you constantly see in High School either. Can't wait to transfer to Humboldt University too; everything I've hear about Humboldt has been stellar.

I try and roll through here once and a while to check my alerts; look at people's journals. If I comment, it means I read it and had something to say. If I'm not commenting on you, I don't have anything to say Lawl. Sorry. :P

Furry Con. Gotta go to one one day. Possibly next summer. Someone have some suggestions?

      That's about it for now.

the police logs can be pretty ridiculous. Due to the fact the local paper, The News Review, is usually eternally hungry for any news that blows their way, they'll print any and all crimes in the police logs. This one... well, blows any others out of the water.

      Roseburg Police
2:24 p.m. - Police were sent to check the area of the 600 block of S.E. Jackson Street for two intoxicated transients. Woman called to report they had come in to her restaurant and told her if "she doesn't serve them beer at 5 p.m., she will be tapioca." One man had a feather in his hat.

Yesterday was Metal Monday at school, so we listened to metal during lunch in the cafeteria, but unfortunately since that was suggested they made all the other days musical themes too. The others include Western Wednesday, Thuggin' Thursday, and Funky Friday. I fucking hate my school's enthusiasm.

Been getting on in school and stuff, really just living. Kind of accepted my fate of being in school the next 5-6 years without choice. I'm planning on going to Umpqua Community College in my town for a couple years to get my pre-requisites out of the way and then I'm going to transfer to Humboldt University in northern California to get my masters in Business Administration.

The reason I'm doing that is because a masters in business management can put me ahead in my future field. I'm planning on becoming a Computer Information and Systems Manager for businesses. They decide what kind of computer hardware and software they need, train personal, and maintain the system itself, and I can make up to around 120k a year.

The only thing I don't like about this is the fact that people have to plan their lives out instead of living in every moment like we should. Planning out the rest of your life forces you to keep looking ahead forever, and then when you get to the end of your life you realize you never stopped to enjoy the seconds you had at the time, instead of thinking about the seconds you were going to have and what you were going to do with them. Unfortunately I don't have a choice of being in the system.

Life is life right now. Just getting on and enjoying various entertainment. I just got Lamb of God's new album Wrath that comes out in 20 days or so, and it's fucking sick. One thing I realized about Lamb of God is their repetition in lyrics though, and even though their songs are good, they do use the same phrases over and over again. Still a great band.

Been watching a lot of movies, I have like 205 on my external hard drive so far (Torrents are fantastic). Some good recommendations are Defiance, Taken, Before The Devil Knows Your Dead, Lucky Number Slevin, and Orgazmo. Defiance and Taken were both action packed, and the lead character in Taken is such a bad ass throughout the entire movie. Before The Devil Knows Your Dead and Lucky Number Slevin are both crime movies that you have to pay a lot of attention to, but their stories are so good their worth the time. Orgazmo is a Trey Parker movie about a gun that makes people orgasm. If that sounds hilarious to you, watch the movie, it's fucking great.

I posted my senior photo I had a friend take with my camera. I think it's good.

Here's another poem I wrote, shorter this time, and broken up for easier reading:

      Death and Ashes

Out of a series of coincidences quite mysterious
      All science fact nothing delirious
We came from chemicals and electricity
Not from some holy book I think witty
Witty enough to trick the masses
Not me, I know we came from celestial gases
We arose, right from the ashes
Of all the living things before us.

An endless cycle of living and dying
Impermanence is true, God is lying
      There never was any eternity
      There is only our unity
      Space stretches forever into tomorrow
The tomorrow that I can never borrow
My life forever in some sorrow
      The escape is unfortunately one-way.

I've been put into the picture by outside forces
I never had a choice of my life sources
It is ever so ironic we were given self-awareness
Yet we have to accept our deaths, our helplessness
We only get a taste of this strange self-being
80 years or more and we're lucky to be seeing
I can only hope to live the life I'm leading
And never regret to seize the moment.

Somehow, I can't help but lust for more
I wish for something there, I wish it wasn't all lore
Maybe the imagination is a curse
Dreaming only crushes you when you realize reality is a hearse
Should I be happy I can dwell inside my mind
Following husks of thoughts and mental rinds
Hollow meaning comes in many different kinds
      Will I ever find purpose?

I am fulfilling it without consent
To be a part of nature that is all that needs to be met
I am for the sake of being
I do what I want, no one is intervening
If I only get one chance I have to take each second
I have to be happy, I might not get as much time as I reckon
A part of the cycle yet against the flow
Something I can hopefully yet outgrow.

      Everyone Suffers The Same

Every man, woman, and child is put to the flame
At some point and time in their fame
Rent asunder and put under the dirt to rot
To decompose and turn to dust in a soil cot
Held deep in the eternal embrace
Most don't stop to enjoy it and decide to race
But if this is your fate then you'll be irate
To find out you're dead forever under slate
And you never get another chance.
Don't you wish you could go away, prance
Away from your grave as if you didn't have to stay?
It is the same for everyone who lays
Under the blanket of life and strife.
They are doomed to all die by the knife
At some point in their being they will end
Open your eyes and see that no matter what you spend
It's the time that matters and never the money
Experiences satisfy where hollowness is left by the honey
      Of sense stimulus and entertainment
Oh how to Hell I wish I could be sent
Because it would mean I don't ever have to stop
This careless romp I have been given of but a drop
That I do so savor the flavor of.
My view brightens sighting the dove
      Mind-boggled at natures variety
If only this same amazement was in society
People would be happy no matter
They would learn to deal with the daily clatter
More easily and stress free because
They would finally have a purpose and a cause.
Just to have fun and not worry about a mess
But maybe it's not the love of life they miss
And it's really the fact they don't know I'm the same
Even though I'm of a different face and name
I still feel the pain they feel inside
When the speed picks up and we descend on the ride
And things go black and we don't know what will happen.
I will not let allow these things to make me sadden
Because if you believe your mind is a light
Then the whole world can be just as bright
As when you're on top of the world and couldn't be better
And all the world's in front of you out to the letter.
Interpretation is the key to perception
Knowing how to deal with things right is the prescription
Take everything in comfort that it will move on
And learn from experiences to grow upon.

I'll post some more stuff like this and pictures in the future. Hope you like it. :P

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated and it's got me thinking. Here's what I suggest...

Ok, so general plan of action is:-

A sensible looking art website, digital being a small section. Digital will have a sub-catagory of "Desktop backgrounds" or "Downloadable" where one or two designs will be available for download as a background for your computer.

Another section for "Cartoons" including all things Spike. No specific prices, just a showcase with a "custom Spike" option for a whole fiver or somesuch.

Another section for "Accessories" or "Merchandise" where you can get Spike related produce (starting with mugs). My purple dragon design may also be available here, as may a few designs specifically for mugs / T-shirts. My actual proper artwork will not be available on such things, but there will be a "Request Form" available, where you can suggest / ask for whatever you like (I might just do something different for a specific request).

Prints of my better peices will be available for purchase, including some of my better and higher res digital art. (this could also be put into a separate section of "Prints"). This, of course, will have to be added later.

      So, how does that sound?

Oh, I don't give a shit about downtown. I was happy with the way the cops handled everything on campus when things were starting to get out of control. People's safety was at risk and they did their job to put a stop to that.

Never paid attention to anything that went on in town. All I know is, a lot of people came in from out of town and broke a lot of shit in my hometown. Probably not going to be sympathetic for them either.

    • TKdademon

The cops have a common practice to send out one of their own dressed in black and masked so they can create damage

      K, conspiracy theory.

Here's the bottom line. The cops told everyone that it was dangerous and they should go back to their dorms. Eventually they were going to start making arrests and using tear gas. They gave us roughly a four hour window to comply. If anyone decided they just had to stay out and be a pest, I don't feel bad for them. They could easily have avoided any kind of conflict. But they had to get in the way and give the cops a hard time. Their fault. No sympathy.

    • TKdademon

No. Having attended the riots myself, that was not a violation of the first amendment. That was a bunch of anarchists looking for an excuse to run around, break windows, and light stuff on fire. The police took over and told everyone to go back to their dorms and stay off the streets. I don't feel bad at all for the people who stayed outside and got tear gassed. They gave us like four hours to leave.

Besides, what was anyone REALLY going to change with a cardboard sign made with sharpie when all the world leaders were at least a half mile away from campus anyway?

Yes, Rocky Horror is a musical. So was Sweeney Todd, which I actually liked quite a bit. As for Rocky Horror? Eh, I don't know if you'd like it. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about it. But definitely check out Sweeney Todd.

Evil Dead 2 was gory, but not compared to the first one. Speaking of gore, I still haven't invested in a copy of Brain Dead. I need to do that right now. I looked up Severed on IMDB and there were two versions: 2002 and 2005. Which one should I get?

Also: are you going to go see Watchmen?

"There's a lot more basis in no religion than religion, it seems to me. "

Which is why you and I are obviously atheists. But some people really believe in god and it's really important to them. It gives them comfort and makes them feel better. I'm not going to try to take that away.

    • TKdademon

So how is believing every other religion is wrong any different?

I mean I agree, I think they ARE all made up, but I'm not about to try and convince anyone not to have their belief of choice, just because there is no absolute proof one way or the other.

    • TKdademon

"Number 7? I'm sure there is more factual evidence and reason supporting a lack of all religion than any one religion. If you're an atheist and you don't recognize that I consider you ignorant, but accepting other people's beliefs is cool. ;P"
-There is still no way to prove that there is no god. I don't believe in one but until I can prove that I'm right, anyone can believe whatever they like.
-You dad does not know more about football than I do.
-You played football? Sorry, but I have a hard time believing that to be honest.
