Haven’t been working out for about a month now and tried to start back up a few days ago. Thought I would start out slow so only did 100x sit-ups/push-ups and a 2mile run, but the next day my muscles were screaming so I waited a few days to try again. Been a week now and my shoulders and stomach still hurts like heck when I try to do even a single push-up or sit-up.

Anyone got any advice on getting back into exercising without killing myself?

Cant stand it anymore, so boring, horribly unbalanced with me being on the bad end of that sesaw. Guess its off to try star wars - galaxies.

      Job Hunting
Spent last week going to over 25 places around town seeing if they were hiring. No, no, hiring lock, no, employment freeze, not right now, application though. I even had one manager say they were hiring, so I brought in an app only to call back the same day to talk to a different manager finding out they were not hiring, this happened at two places?? So after that was in line at walmart when I noticed something on the newspaper they have stacked there. Headline: Florida unemployment reaches all time high in 37 years...................bloody great. I guess it is to be expected, since based on my past I wouldnt hire myself.

couldnt find anything on these books in here.

The Dresden Files is a fantasy/mystery novel series by Jim Butcher. Each novel in the series is told from the fictional perspective of Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden (named by his father after Harry Houdini, Harry Blackstone, Sr., and David Copperfield). Dresden is the only professional wizard in modern-day Chicago (he is in the phone book, under the yellow pages heading "Wizards").

In the world of The Dresden Files, magic is real, along with vampires, demons, spirits, faeries, werewolves, and more. The general public that Harry Dresden works to protect does not believe in magic or the large array of dark forces which regularly conspire against them. This makes it tough for Harry to get by as a working wizard and private eye. Fortunately, the Chicago PD's Special Investigation unit led by Lt. Karrin Murphy regularly employs Dresden to help solve cases of a supernatural nature.

      books :

      storm front
      fool moon
      grave peril
      summer knight
      death masks
      blood rites
      dead beat
      proven guilty
      white night

Im not sure how many people play total war and i only know 1 person on here so far, anyways.

start out by naming your favorite army and most hated enemy.

      smiley9.gif Egypt Campaign--late period
      16 mamulk archers
      2 mercenary elephant artillery
      1 cannon
      1 noble calvary general

my favorite strategy is letting my mamulks find a high hill if possible and just pepper the enemy with arrows until they give up, not only do mamulks give you the ability to keep away from infantry and enemy calvary, but they move much faster on the map so you dont have to worry much about spreading your forces too thin. only draw back is if you do take alot of casualties then getting all the units reinforced takes minimum of 3 years for me.

smiley9.gif my most hated enemy is the Timurids.
not only are the impervious to bribes or threats, but they will attack anyone, even their own allies with perfect relations status if they are near them.
the main threat is their elephant calvary. the basic calvary has 2 riflemen on top and can take on 3 v 1 odds and come out winning. they also have elephant artillery which does massive damage and will plow through rank after rank of anything. i know once when i was charging them with calvary one shot from the elephants cannon took down 38 horses because i had them lines up behind each other like a uber noob.

OH, right. I was thinking along the lines of: "Yes, the sun is breathtaking, but where's the joke?"
I didn't see the little dot labelled as our sun, it would have made much more sense if I'd seen that.
Red supergiants do get pretty darn super-huge, thus the name. I didn't realize they got THAT super-huge though.

It matters not if the Imperium is destroyed, humanity itself will remain. And that will be enough. Though the Tyranids are ravenous, they are being slowed, and even if they are the ones to overwhelm humanity, Chaos will be next on the menu. Demons, Chaos Marines, Aliens, you're all equally edible. And surely you say that pure Chaos can hide in the Warp, but eventually they'll destroy each other. No empire can last forever. War plagues the Warp as it always will, but sooner or later, it will wipe itself out. Besides, if all life is eventually exterminated, the Warp's power dwindles, as does everything inside it. It'd create a spacial-Black Hole effect, with everything just disappearing. The Warp feeds off all life's essence. Without essence, it dies. Then, humanity eventually wins in the end, because its greatest foe, is dead. The road to victory is paved with bodies. Your enemies, and your own.

You best be shaking in your boots. Just one of them is greater than a Grey Knight Grandmaster. Is immune to almost every power of the Warp, and practices routines daily that a single Chaos Marine or Demon couldn't hope to keep up with.

      AH, I see.

This is Imperial measurement we're talking about:
      Twelve inches in a foot, three feet's a yard;
      Metric measure works in tens,
      Imperial makes work hard.

You made some valid points on the new transformers movie.
Maybe the next movie should be located at some other planet and Michael Bay shouldn't direct anymore of these movies. That also makes them worse.

A stone as a measurement of weight is fourteen pounds (lb)
And, of course, it's also another word for rock.
What did you think it meant?

    • DocRossim

Welsh accents are signified by a rising of tone during sentences, rolling "r"s and a tendency towards the phrase "isn't it".

      Welsh Accent examples:
      Rob Brydon
      Rhod Gilbert
Tom Jones (a very young Tom Jones)
      Some random people

Couldn't fit it all on the message:
It’s a part of you, and it’s not an evil thing, and you need to come to terms with it before you can control that part of you – hating it is not doing you any good in body or in soul I can tell you.

and if it's getting to you, find an outlet for your energy! Some people recommend lots of exercise and cold showers, also creative hobbies, that's if you're really opposed to "self relief". Oh, and meditation helps, this I know from experience – during my teens when I did have more “drive†I leaned to suppress it slightly with meditative techniques.

      And yes, that song rocks!
And it's NOT satanic, which is a plus.

Why do you wish you had that? It basically means not getting any sensation from the activity, it doesn't mean you don't still have the compulsion to do it. It's a bit like Captain Barbosa's curse in Pirates of the Carribean.

Well, not quite that bad, as it's not something I get the urge to do all that often.
