I really, really enjoyed getting to meet a lot of you.

I wish some things would have turned out differently, but for the most part I loved it here.

It's just really time for me to move on, maybe we'll cross paths again one day.

For introduction, I'm Cadet Staff Sergeant Tori (Don't wanna share my last name). I'm in Army JROTC, second year. As of the moment I'm first squad leader, and very proud of it.

Us cadets can chat it up here, keep it clean and some friendly smack talk about our respective branches, eh?

Alright, so this is basically the picture association game and the kill the person above you threads tied in together. I stole this from another site, so some of you may recognize it.

The game is started when the user posts a picture, then the next user posts a picture that would wipe out the above picture.
For example, if I posted a picture of a fire, someone else could post a picture of water or a blanket.

But, if I post a picture of a fisherman, don't post a meteorite or something of that sort that to wipe it out because you can't think of anything else to wipe it out . You can post random pictures, as long as they makes sense and you justify it well.

I'll start us out, take this gopher out!

The room was dark, almost damp. York laid sprawled out on the bunk that was chained to the wall. He was too tired even to get up, let alone pick the jail cell's lock.
He had spent the previous night out on the street before he finally threw a brick through a store window. Then, he sat and waited for the Police to arrive. All he wanted was bed under his back and a roof over his head, and it looked like the city jail was a good place for that. Almost everyone knew York at the Police Station, and if they didn't they knew his Police record. A stiff, grayed man jingled the keys in front of York's cell.

"Hey, wake up. Your hearing is about to start."

York hesitated, then slowly, he sat up straight. Without a word, he walked over to the jail's entrance.

The old man unlocked the cell, and teased York, " Freeloader, maybe the ol'e judge will give you a home in the state pen."

Shading his eyes from the sudden light York gave a tired smile.
" Well, it was cold last night. The shelter was full, too. Have to go somewhere, Roy."

Roy only shook his head. He had never in his life seen such a good natured kid get into so much trouble.
York was escorted down the hall to a bulit in city court. He was led to the defendant stand and sworn in. For the third time in six months.
As the baliff asked him "Will you tell the truth, the whole truth so help you god?"
York's father's voice rang through his ears.
No one likes a liar son. That is the worst thing you can do.

"Yes sir I do." York slid his hand off the Holy Bible. He was a horrible liar, he never lied much anyway.
The trial was only an hour long. By the time the hearing ended, York had a choice. The State Jail for three years, or Blue Army.
He chose Blue Army. It was better than Jail, he got paid, and a home.As York was coming out of the court doors, the grayed jail guard was there waiting.

"I chose to join Blue Army instead of the State Farm." York blurted to Roy.
      Roy gave a crooked smile,

"Good choice. As your father always said ' When opportunity comes knocking a the door, you better open the door for it.'"
      "When do you leave?"

York gave a weak shrug. " Sometime tommarrow or the next day."

Roy took York back to his cell. "Get some rest you old fool. You got a whole life ahead of you. I'll see you tommarrow, before you're off to basic."

York nodded and collapsed onto his bunk, "Thanks Roy. For everything."

Hey, remember me? I go by a different name now, but I was once a stupid 11 year old named l4d88 4 years! So as I keep waiting for more episodes of Red vs Blue, I felt a wave a of fond remembrance when I remembered I made an account here. The email I used has long been recycled, but I made a new account now. God, when I look back on those days, I just want to erase that embarrassing part of my life.

I remember you were pretty friendly, and we chatted a lot. I have a regular forum that I've been an active member of for years, forum.spacebattles.com. Since 2011 I've been apart of that glorious website, my first true forum going experience one big extended family!

      Crap, I
m rambling aren't I? Well anyway, its nice seeing your still around. Cheers!

P.S. See you still kept that profile pic from all those years before, huh?

Central Florida, dead center of this godforsaken state.

I live in Florida, we have an average of 95 degrees with a humidity of 200%. :P

    • meleesoldier

Its too hot to start school right now, I'd die from heat exhaustion. Last night I didn't take my shirt off because they told me to, because I was really fucking hot. Even after I did I was still sweating.

    • meleesoldier

Ah, we usually get fittings done by the end of the first week of school, but school doesn't start up until 2 weeks from tomorrow.

    • meleesoldier

It would certainly be interesting, though that would be horrible to juggle on a tight schedule. Oh and my school this year is getting Ipads for every student because we received 3.5 million dollars from a donor. My classroom are now pretty much digitalized. :P

    • meleesoldier

That's cool, and sucks at the same time. My Senior year is going to end up with me being the Color Guard, Exhibition, and Drill Commander, making me the Grand Master of drilling at my school? That wouldn't be fun at all. :P

    • meleesoldier

That sucks, a lot of our seniors felt the same way since we're getting Exhibition, an upgrade to Raiders, and aquestionary (horseback riding).

I have Rifle Camp for JROTC starting tomorrow, can't freakin' wait for it. Hopefully I walk out of it with a Marksman or Sharpshooter badge.

Finch and I went toe to toe with a dozen Insurrectionist that were holding the hostages Dust mentioned in a local diner. We got blown up. Twice. Obviously saved the hostages, but Finch caught some shrapnel in the side. He got better.

    • agentindy

I know right? I was supposed to play the Knights of the Old Republic games again, but I got sidetracked with Doctor Who. Now I'm sidetracked from Doctor Who Classic with video games. What a world.

    • agentindy

I was too, there were actual tears shed over his regeneration scene.

The 11th Doctor is assisted by the fact that Steven Moffat is the main writer for him, he's the source of the Weeping Angels, and other scary stuff. I watch Doctor Who on Netflix, and I'm thinking about watching some classic Doctor Who.

    • agentindy

      Allons-y!

The 10th Doctor is my favorite acting wise, David Tennant genuinely loves Doctor Who. When I watched the two part finale to his run as the 10th Doctor, I teared up at Ten's final line,(I don't want to go) before he regenerated, that line could be interpreted as either David Tennant, or the Tenth Doctor saying that. Either way, I cried at his performance.

But Eleven is a very close second, since he seems a lot like me. He also seems more alien than the other doctors, which I like. It doesn't hurt that his lines are extremely badass.
