I really, really enjoyed getting to meet a lot of you.
I wish some things would have turned out differently, but for the most part I loved it here.
It's just really time for me to move on, maybe we'll cross paths again one day.
For introduction, I'm Cadet Staff Sergeant Tori (Don't wanna share my last name). I'm in Army JROTC, second year. As of the moment I'm first squad leader, and very proud of it.
Us cadets can chat it up here, keep it clean and some friendly smack talk about our respective branches, eh?
Alright, so this is basically the picture association game and the kill the person above you threads tied in together. I stole this from another site, so some of you may recognize it.
The game is started when the user posts a picture, then the next user posts a picture that would wipe out the above picture.
For example, if I posted a picture of a fire, someone else could post a picture of water or a blanket.
But, if I post a picture of a fisherman, don't post a meteorite or something of that sort that to wipe it out because you can't think of anything else to wipe it out . You can post random pictures, as long as they makes sense and you justify it well.
I'll start us out, take this gopher out!
I thought I'd write my own Fan fic.
The room was dark, almost damp. York laid sprawled out on the bunk that was chained to the wall. He was too tired even to get up, let alone pick the jail cell's lock.
He had spent the previous night out on the street before he finally threw a brick through a store window. Then, he sat and waited for the Police to arrive. All he wanted was bed under his back and a roof over his head, and it looked like the city jail was a good place for that. Almost everyone knew York at the Police Station, and if they didn't they knew his Police record. A stiff, grayed man jingled the keys in front of York's cell.
"Hey, wake up. Your hearing is about to start."
York hesitated, then slowly, he sat up straight. Without a word, he walked over to the jail's entrance.
The old man unlocked the cell, and teased York, " Freeloader, maybe the ol'e judge will give you a home in the state pen."
Shading his eyes from the sudden light York gave a tired smile.
" Well, it was cold last night. The shelter was full, too. Have to go somewhere, Roy."
Roy only shook his head. He had never in his life seen such a good natured kid get into so much trouble.
York was escorted down the hall to a bulit in city court. He was led to the defendant stand and sworn in. For the third time in six months.
As the baliff asked him "Will you tell the truth, the whole truth so help you god?"
York's father's voice rang through his ears.
No one likes a liar son. That is the worst thing you can do.
"Yes sir I do." York slid his hand off the Holy Bible. He was a horrible liar, he never lied much anyway.
The trial was only an hour long. By the time the hearing ended, York had a choice. The State Jail for three years, or Blue Army.
He chose Blue Army. It was better than Jail, he got paid, and a home.As York was coming out of the court doors, the grayed jail guard was there waiting.
"I chose to join Blue Army instead of the State Farm." York blurted to Roy.
Roy gave a crooked smile,
"Good choice. As your father always said ' When opportunity comes knocking a the door, you better open the door for it.'"
"When do you leave?"
York gave a weak shrug. " Sometime tommarrow or the next day."
Roy took York back to his cell. "Get some rest you old fool. You got a whole life ahead of you. I'll see you tommarrow, before you're off to basic."
York nodded and collapsed onto his bunk, "Thanks Roy. For everything."
That's the first chapter. Next chapter will come up soon.
