    • Oh, hi!

      Greetings from Nowhereland.

So lets see what has happened in the last, almost, 4 months?

-Left one guy because he said he only liked me because I looked like I was in High School.
-Got kicked out by my roommates and forced to find another place with very short notice.
-Found a place and signed a lease. Now I'm here until April!
-Got a job working as a clerk at a porn shop (hey, its a pay check)
-Made some the best friends I could ask for. They've helped me and saved me so many times I owe them a huge thanks.
-Found a wonderful guy who treats me as a prince.
-Been learning to feed myself with under 30 bucks a week.
-Had car bought by my boyfriend's mother for me.
      -Fixing my credit painstakingly slowly.
-Found out my mom and step dad are getting a divorce and possibly selling the farm.

      Whee.

I have 2 of the three and possibly the remainder.

      I really hope I don't have rabies....

Met a guy. English and French major and all around linguist.

      Very cute and very interesting.

Seems I may have a date soon.

Still always looking for pity for being the target of his own victimization and heralding his true victimization as triumphs none could hope to supersede.

      Arrogant drama-mongering fuck.

So when I moved to Fargo I moved in with an ex, which was awkward so we both kinda wanted to work it out and see if we could get that spark again. That failed like the Hindenburg. Though her wants to keep it, facebook official, so HIS friends don't tell him 'I told ya so'. Fucking stupid....

Anyway, I'm technically single, no job, no car, living in an unfamiliar town with my 4 times over ex boyfriend.

      OH JOY!!!

But i really should be on xbox's NEXT platform; the 360 will be old and tired soon.

So I guess this is Microsofts answer to the Wii and how much success it garnered and a truly interactive and 'healthy' video game experience? Well it's novel, I'll give them that and I actually amd kinda excited to see it launch and secretly want one, but in the same breath I cant express how odd it is to make such a major reform to gaming style and the effort being put forth to revamp the gaming industry....on a platform that's been out for 4 or 5 years...(getting old in gaming terms...)

    • Shit sucks

      akwila

Why does shit never go my way when I kinda need them to? Not like life or death need but pretty effing close.

I filled out more than 50 to 100 scholarships during and just after high school, and I didn't get a single fucking one. Then when I had to do my federal grants and such my mom screwed something up on her portion and has YET to fix it when she really is the only one that can since it involves her SSN be different...every where. Then I think 'Oh I can just get some student loans and pay them back for the rest of my damn life" well at that time no one was giving student loans because the economy was in the shitter so bad (still is for that matter). So after all that I'm like well fuck, financial aid. Financial aid told me to go fuck myself basically because my dad at the time was making a...large... amount of money at that time but refused to pay for college because I "didn't deserve it".

So here I am now with pretty much all those issue, plus bad credit, and more time than I know what to do with my self for hours on end. Yay misery!

Like seriously I'm like 2 minutes away from go down the street, working the corner and paying for night school or community college or some crap.

    • Can't win if you don't play.

      akwila

      Well lots of things.

I'm moving to Fargo. I have only been wallowing in vat of depression and stagnation. To fix that, I'm moving across state to another city, where I have only been once for a few hours, and live there to see how I like it. Got the logistics worked out but lets see if i can sustain and keep it up.

On the other hand my mother's best friend from high school has recently gotten in touch with her, and they still are great friends. In the midst of a joke my mom said something to the affect of in the context of a joke "Well why don't we just drop Nick off with you" and she said that would be cool. After about 45min of discussing it she and I had worked out a way that I could move to San Diego any time I wanted. Which to me is strange for some one to offer when I've only just met them... apparently she is fairly wealthy though... she is a professor of woman's studies and her brother (whom she lives with) is the chairman of the GLBT treasury of activities for southern California, and then her girlfriend (whom also live there) is a house flipper. Yep shes a lesbian too, and her brother, gay. Yes educated gays, in California, opening their doors to me. Why am I even reluctant to feel good about that?

Meh, just like Batman though the Alliance has the best villians.

And also most of the humans of lordaeron were already dead or scattered by the time Arthas invaded Quel'thalas. The king, most of the army in the capital and almost every member of the order of the silver hand were killed already.

And double also I just like talking to someone about this stuff that's read more than just the pamphlet that came with the game.

Thrall is on par with Varian for sure but the others are pretty easy to forget after a while except Sylvanas, and I tend to disregard the emo girl. Everything you read about her in her character is just that she hates Arthas and resents all humans. Nothing else really comes up besides that with her. In WoW the thing about her sisters only really comes up once or twice. Like I said though, Thrall is definitely up there with Varian. Killed the man who held him prisoner from infancy and knocks down the entire fortress on his own. Makes me wonder why he doesn't pull something like that on Icecrown citadel though.

Re: OMG litericy iz guud! I completely agree with everything you said, I also play WoW and I sometimes feel I have to "dumb" myself down in order to understand half of what is said. I absolutely LOATHE going to Stormwind City because trade chat is full of idiots who have no idea how to spell or can't grasp the concept that trade chat is supposed to be for trade chat. Not he said/she said load of crap chat. If you want to meet up and do some quests look me up: Arkacia.

Who's fighting for PEACE there? They want a dictatorship thrown out of power. How many revolutions have been peaceful? Certainly not the one that formed our own country.

The Declaration of Independence of the United States reads as follows:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

LOL re your comment in Jim's gallery. My brother used to have those exact boots and wore them ALL THE TIME!!!!

    • Jimmerz

I suppose. There's those other big clunky boots that are popular these days too, especially with the 'urban' crowd. Lugz and such. It's amusing that most times the wearer of such footwear does not participate in whatever activity they were designed for. Especially cowboy boots. That's a pet peeve of mine, people who drive giant trucks that have never been off road. While wearing cowboy boots, while they would shit themselves if they ever saw a horse up close.

    • Jimmerz

Heh. Big clunky boots are always popular. Those are motorcycle boots, like Fonzie would wear. I had big ass hiking boots, more in keeping with my stoner image. Cowboy boots for rednecks, Doc Martins for punks and rockers... The list goes on.

Interesting that you call Japan home. Not sure how long you spent there, or from what age, but it's obvious what an impression Japan made on you.

My best bud for many years, Nick, was the son of a guy who worked for the UN. Growing up, he lived all over the world. Belize, Zaire, school in England. When I knew him he got it in his mind that it was time for another change of scenery. So he began studying Japanese, then moved there to teach ESL. He wound up getting married, which surprised me, and having a kid, which shocked me. Now it turns out he lives in Montreal, his ex moved back to Japan, and the kid divides his time between.

I hear Japan is incredibly expensive, but money and time permitting, it's a place I would dearly love to see.
