I know this won't be seen by anyone, but I really would like to hear RT's opinion on Megaupload being shut down... I would love to know!

So I am getting pretty tired of Collegehumor ripping off roosterteeth. I made one comment on their Female Armor video after RT made a video about women's clothing in video games. Apparently the RT community agreed as I had 122 thumbs up in an hour. Let's get out there and tell CH you're over them being theives!
I do respect anyone that can make youtube videos popular and this is in no way trying to put down people making creative content.

Just a quick post... it has been a week since i have had internet. I realized that tye only thing that bothered me about it was not having access to AH and RT. Holy fanboy moment... I was on vacation in northern Ontario and there was zero internet. Now work has given me a playbook on top of my laptop and blackberry. i think they are trying to keep track of me... creepy. Anywho this is a pretty random journal and kind of all over the place. Happy to be back... p.s. the playbook sucks.

    • Hours on site

After listening to podcast after podcast I have an issue. It's kind of like the same issue that Geoff, Gus and Burnie talk about with the xbox websites not giving accurate totals for time online. Now I'm not bitter or anything so please don't take it like that. I just know that I have listened to over 20 hours of podcasts streamed directly from the site. Probably closer to 40 hours. I work on the road and the drunk tank is my favourite companion. My time online should be sooooo much higher... The only reason I say that is because I am only at 7 hours and it makes me seem like a lame fan. I am a huuuuuge fan and have decided to eff youtube and watch all my videos here. If not only to boost my stats hahaha. I also know it says I signed up only 2 months ago... which is true, but I have been watching a hell of a lot of AH over the past 2ish years.

P.S. I applied for a new credit card specifically to become a sponsor... I don't want to have an auto charge on my card but I would like to prepay for several years if possible.

    • Canada Day

A day mixed with a ton of alcohol and several hundred dollars worth of fireworks. As I started drinking at noon I knew the end of the night was going to be an iffy one at that. I stumbled through the day talking and socializing with many friends and acquiantences. Then darkness came and I knew my time was near. Fireworks were about to happen... and I was loaded. This is always the time when I think it's a great idea to hold large roman candles in my hand. Typically nothing happens and I enjoy my evening of shooting balls of fire in the general direction of my least liked friends. Which I did, but of course karma caught up with me and I of course was holding the firework in a really odd way that put a pretty solid burn on my hand from the fuse. I threw the firework on the ground which of course caused people to scatter in many different directions - of course some other people were shooting fireworks in these directions - panic insued. Thankfully for my friends no one was blinded or scalded by sparkly bits of Canada. I then spent the night briefly with an ice cube in my hand and then switched to the almighty painkiller rum and cokes. This seemed to work until I work up in some behemoths tent with my pants off and wondering how I made it in there.

Lesson of the night - you can harpoon a whale as long as your loaded and she looks like a dolphin

      OHHHHHHH CANADA!

    • Connect FOUR - Bastards went and did it

I was watching tv today and they had a commercial for the "New Connect Four" I thought to myself how could you possible make a new connect four... the games name tells you exactly what you are supposed to do. But now in relation to so many of my childhood memories they found a way to make a sequel. Push out the discs to slide yours in to place and as the title says - connect four. I am kind of using this as just one example of how things can change for no real reason.I am not a "Jack Patillo type" and by that I mean a somber sould that cannot find the good in what I have and what the future holds, I am just a little bitter about ruining things of my childhood. This could continue with a long rant about how sick and tired I am of sequels or remakes of movies that should not have them made. However that is for another journal at another time.

P.S. - Kind of just kidding Jack

    • A random day of car crashes

On this very random Tuesday I was driving in the countryside for work. Now in a typical week I usually end up in the boonies somewhere outside of my city to promote the college that I work at. On this day, after passing 10 or so slow moving tractors, I started noticing more and more people driving like idiots. I don't know why every moron with a drivers license decided to grab a hold of their wheel and careen in and out of their lanes and stop suddenly for no apparent reason. However, I chalked it up to people enjoying the nice weather and not really paying attention to their surroundings. Then it happened, the first truck was in the ditch but seemed to be ok. It was holding up traffic but not a really big deal. About another 90 kms down the road in a small town another car crashed and t-boned into yet another truck. Both parties seemed uninjured and police were present so I drove on. I went and did my work thing and then left an hour earlier than I expected to. On the way home, just outside of the small town I was in, I looked up to see a van lift a truck into the air and spin it over 2 lanes of traffic, a median and into a turning like about 75 feet from where it had started. This time I slammed the brakes on my car pulled over and ran out to see if everyone ok. I quickly call 911 and ran over to the vehicles to tell them the extent of the damage. The driver of the van, a young female, was bleeding from the head and was slightly in shock. I turned her van off after pushing the air bag down and continued to the truck. The man in the truck had at this point, already stumbled out of his truck then passed out on the ground and started seizing. We waited about 15 minutes for emergency services to show up and in this time the driver of the truck had regained conciousness and was speaking again (Phew) I left the scene after speaking with the police and continued to drive home.

This random Tuesday tought me a few things:
Don't drive a truck in the country because eventually you are going to get fucked up
And stop letting women drive!!!!!!! :)
