Well, I didn't finish my degree as planned last year, all because of one subject, but I am taking it this semester and will probably finish it by June, I really can't wait to finish.

Hope you all had a enjoyable festive season. Any interesting stories that you might want to share?

Good day to all the Children

Yesterday started my last year om my LLB (for those who are unfimiliar with the term, it is our Bachelors degree for Law), and so far it doesn't seem all that bad.
Work is going as per usual and nothing too special there.

I'm still enjoying my copy of Army of TWO: 40th Day, awesome game while you can co-op with an actual human being. XBox Live is still outside my grasp <any of my friends who knows somebody at Microsoft and/or XBox that might be able to help get XBL support in South Africa, please press some buttons to get us some help please.

Should know by Wednesday next wheter I have succesfully applied for tickets to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, very excited about that. Anyone out their that might be thinking of coming to SA to enjoy the event in full African style? (I don't mean in the bush style, much more to Africa than most people think.)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

    • Damnit hot!

      apie

Summer is starting to creep up on us, it's allready 32 C ( 90 F) outside in the shade, and it is only going to get hotter.

I'm busy with exams, but only have two more papers left, Tax Law and a combination of Intellectual Property Law and Law of Payment Methods (Sorry, a very literal translation from the Afrikaans). But If I'm done with them, I'm done for the year, then I have one last year left before I have my degree.

The draw for the groups of the 2010 FIFA Wolrd Cup are taking place on the 4th of December, and I can't wait to see which teams will be playing their games in Bloemfontein.
Is there anyone from the site that will be attending the Tournament next year in South Africva???

I have been hecticly quiet the last couple of weeks. Running from class to work, tests and exams, and it still will not end.

But; I am looking forward to the Confederations Cup that will be starting on the 14th of June. I have tickets to go and see the Spain vs. Iraq and the South Africa vs. Spain games.

Oh, yeah, because I'm South African, I only paid R70 for my ticket, at the moment that translates to about $8.75. I will be posting pics.

What have you been up to?

Post your name and I will do each of the following:

      1. I'll respond with something random about you.
      2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of.
      3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle you in.
      4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me, if possible.
      5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
      6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
      7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.
      8. I'll tell you my favorite thing about you.
      9. I'll tell you my least favorite thing about you.
      10. If you play, you MUST post this on yours

I feel se empty. I mean, Thank you RT for Episode 19, but...

What happend to Tex and Tucker? And Church, is he still alive (well, as alive as an AI can be)?
And who the hell is Dr. Church? Is he an actual person, or just another computer with a webcam that can look around? I get that Church is an AI modeled after the Director, but WTF?

What is up with Epsilon? Why was it so important to save it and not all the other AI's? And was it me, or did Caboose show some level of intelligence at the end of the episode? Now that is really screwd up...

If it is happening now, it wouldn't be the first time. Fifth-column tactics have been used by Ghaddafi forces since the beginning of the conflict.

to this day we're still capturing fifth-column members within Benghazi itself...getting ready to set off bombs inside parking lots and areas where people gather.

also at the very beginning of the conflict, he used ambulance and civilian vehicles to go into troubled spots and open fire on protestors.

so no, i can't confirm if it is happening RIGHT NOW right now, but i wouldn't be one bit surprised if they did.

Yeah. I'm gonna try not to concentrate on it to much. I'm gonna weigh myself once a week. If I do it more than that and don't see results, I'll get discouraged smiley0.gif
