I am not as active as I once was on RvB. I have come to that realization that there are bigger things for me in the world. I have been spending most of my time either with the guys, with my girlfriend, working, or dealing with Cybernations (If you haven't already, check the game out at www.cybernations.net . It is more addictive than crack. Hit me up there and send me a message to Badbrownies).

But mostly, I have to admit, I have been spending time with the girlfriend. Things between her and I have gotten very serious and honestly, we love each other more than anything else in the world.

My winter break is officially over in about five hours so I should be getting to bed.

I'll catch you all later, but to be honest, I don't know when later is.

In the immortal words of Eddie Murrow, "Good night, and good luck".

Well, its that time of year again. Last year, I spent it with my family and just chilled at the house. However, this year is a little different.

At 1 in the afternoon, I am heading over to my girlfriend's place so we can pile into three cars to head halfway across Wisconsin to see her family. Her extended family really wanted to meet me so I decided that I can't let my fans down. But honestly, I am incredibly nervous about the whole thing. Her immediate family is one thing (I knew her little sister, three brothers, and father before she and I started dating. After all, we were pretty much best friends before our relationship started) but an immense extended family is another. I can guarantee I will somehow screw this up. Stay tuned till the 26th when I post a journal about HOW I screwed up.

      Talk to you all later!

I bought a book by Plato called "The Trial and Death of Socrates". I have only read Socrates' conversation with Euthyphro and a good question already has sparked my mind.

What is piety? What does it mean to be pious? What does it mean to be impious?

Before I explain my thoughts on the subject, I want to hear yours. GO GO GO!

      badbrownies

So, Larkin26 and another one of my friends and I were really bored so we decided to make a bucket list for Stephen Hawking. For those of you who don't know what a bucket list is, it is a list of things to do before you die.

      1. Go on a Safari in Africa
      2. Go parachuting
      3. Blow a bubble gum bubble
      4. Punch Oscar de la Hoya

      14. Walk
      15. Cosplay as a Wookie at a Star Wars Convention
      16. Swim with sharks

Because of school, Trudy and I won't be able to see each other until this Friday. Seriously, even though it is only four more days, it seems like such a long time away. I saw her yesterday and I already really miss her and she told me she already really misses me, too on the phone. This will be the toughest four days of my life but all I have to do is keep myself busy and it will fly by. That is why I wanted to hang out with Larkin26 and our friend Ben today. It made the day pass by really fast (even though most of the reason is because the road was an adventure and a half. I hate snow driving and salt trucks not doing anything about the icy road).

Give me ideas on what to do RT community!

    • From the looks of it...

      badbrownies

I am posting a lot less on RvB as of late. I am still alive and kicking but there has been a lot going on in my life that makes it hard for me to post my thoughts.

There are five things that prevent me from being on here more often (the list is written in order of what takes up the most time):

      1) School - I have it four days a week and I am off from the early morning to late afternoon. So, I don't really get much time to do what I want.

      2) Girlfriend - I can't honestly complain about her. She makes my life happy so RT is a necessary sacrifice.

      3) Work - It causes me to be gone for Fridays and Saturdays (and some Sundays) and it pays the bills. I love my job, but it kind of hurts sometimes (I got burnt twice last night and my back was killing me).

      4) Friends - Again, I can't honestly complain about them. They are good people and if given the choice, I wouldn't want my friends to be anyone else. They are the kind of guys who are always there for you (even if you don't want them there).

      5) Personal shit - I can honestly complain about this one. For the past couple weeks, I haven't been in the best mood (some may have noticed) and there are solid reasons behind it. I just don't want to bother any of you with it and Trudy is helping me through it to the best of her ability.

So, sorry I haven't been that active hombres. But hey, I guess it is better to have a life off of RT than be bothered with RT drama that occurs all over the place.

Tonight is Guy Fawkes Night. That means one thing - fireworks. I am going to check with EtotheN and Larkin26 to see if they still want to do it, but I am almost certain no one can pass up the opportunity to blow stuff up.

So, Remember Remember the 5th of November - The Gun Powder Treason and Plot.

I just read something interesting - Guy Fawkes is the only person to enter Parliament with honest intentions. Ironic, much.

As a strong John McCain supporter, I can honestly say I am very upset with how the election turned out. However, I will be a bigger man here and welcome our new, oppressive socialist regime.

I usually never do this, but there is a song I think fits my mood right now.

Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire

Here is to four years of socialism (most likely 8 because Americans apparently love their socialism now) and four years to kissing Al-Qaeda ass. It is a shame that Barack Obama will make the Iraq War the second Vietnam.

I only represent the Legion in the GPA right now as I don't want to overextend myself in too many alliances as I am a fairly new ambassador. However, I am looking into other alliances to represent the Legion as there are other alliances that lack Legion Ambassadors.

A bit short on the description of the movie but at least it is short and simple. Stephen King's the Langoliers has to be my favorite movie/book by him. Sure there are better ones by him but its been a childhood favorite> I kindof wished we were able to watch it at David's party tonight.

i agree with you on the gay rights thing... i think that the simple fact that Obama voted to ban handguns and generally votes against the gun owner is enough reason by itself to worry about him and not vote for him... but my last journal (in two parts) gives a lot of other good reasons...

Really? You don't consider it to be an oil war (which it is) but a legitimate movement? I think eventually something needed to be done about Saddam and the surge was a good thing, but we really should've had the UN to back us and had a better reason than "nukulrr whepunz" when the WoMD and Al Quaeda ties both turned out to be bullshit.
McCain has repeatedly stated that we'll stay there as long as it takes..."even if it takes 100 years." Obama plans a gradual pull-out over the course of 16-19 months while trained Iraqi police are put in. Meanwhile, we'll focus on Afghanistan and working with the Pakistani govt to find Bi Laden and work on taking down Al Quaeda and the Taliban.
Also, you're perfectly fine with the greatest part of our budget and our massive trillions of dollars of debt are because of that oil war, right? See, I'm going to become a teacher and this is far more lucrative to me and, as I see it, our country's future. I think that Education is more important that Military, 100%. Do you disagree?
