Died for me in high school. Facebook is so much better and I'm way busier in college.

If anyone wants any videos let me know. I'm somehow still a sponsor.

Btw. 49ers will make the playoffs.
Sharks are disappointing in the playoffs.
      Warriors need some defense.
Giants need more playmakers then Fred Lewis.
      Asians are awesome!

"When asked about how the Yorks viewed the season Nolan responded with:

“They’ve been as disappointed as anybody,†Nolan said Monday, a day after his team lost its 10th game in 11 tries. “Their expectations were just like ours were, just like our fans’ were.â€Â
Nolan admitted that those lofty expectations came from him. After finishing 7-9 in 2006, Nolan believed that the 49ers would make a push for the playoffs, and he told the Yorks as much.
      “I was wrong,†Nolan said.

The problem isn't that Nolan was wrong. Wrong would be an assessment that the team was capable of being competitive when in fact they weren't. Wrong would be an expectation of building on the previous 2 years of growing momentum and an assessment that the momentum would continue to grow in 2007 when in fact the team should have regressed.

Nolan wasn't wrong in his assessment at all. This team DOES have competitive talent. Whether its sitting on the bench or being utilized incorrectly on the field this team does have talent. This team should have been an improvement over 2006 and, along with the NFL and TV Networks, accurately assessed the 2007 49ers as a competitive entertaining team.

The problem isn't being wrong. The problem is Nolan Failed

The talent is there but the preparation, game planning and game management isn't. At no point has this team demonstrated an ability to execute an NFL gameplan. This speaks to coaching and failure to prepare. When certain players were consistently underperforming Nolan failed to make adjustments. When Hostler continued to struggle in his capacity Nolan falied to act in a timely manner. When Smith got injured Nolan failed to deal with it appropriately prefering to ignore the fact that his star QB was playing with a shoulder that would require surgery.

The only thing Nolan was wrong about was in fact being wrong. The team is fine. It is he who has failed."

    • Alex Smith is the next Ryan Leaf

      baqfiredplan

I know, I know, Leaf is a little bitc# however, this is statistics only guys...

Compare Ryan Leaf with Alex Smith â€" Statistics only!!!

      Leaf:
Year TM | G | Comp Att PCT YD Y/A TD INT |
      +----------+-----+---------------------------------------+-----------------+
      | 1998 sdg | 10 | 111 | 245| 45.3 | 1289 | 5.3 | 2 | 15 |
      | 2000 sdg | 11 | 161 | 322| 50.0 | 1883 | 5.8 | 11 | 18 |
      | 2001 dal | 5 | 45 | 88 | 51.1 | 494 |5.6 | 1 |3 |
      +----------+-----+---------------------------------------+-----------------+
      | TOTAL | 26 | 317 | 655| 48.4 | 3666 | 5.6 | 14 | 36 |

      Smith:
YR TM G Comp Att PCT YDs Y/A TD INT
      2005 sf - |9 | 84 | 165 | 50.9 | 875 |5.3 | 1 | 11
      2006 sf - | 16| 257 | 442 | 58.1 | 2890| 6.5 | 16 | 16
      2007 sf - | 6 | 82 | 165 | 49.7 | 800 | 4.8 | 2 | 4
      TOTAL | 31| 423 | 772 | 54.8 | 4565 | 5.9| 19 | 31

1 year â€" Better QB is Leaf
      2nd year â€" Smith
      3rd year â€" TIE

Also Smith has 24 fumbles to only 19 TDs...

Time to move on? San Deigo did!

Bonds 756 regardless of Steroid allegations *Giants have the All Time Home Run Leader*

Jerry Rice *All Time Wide Receiving Leader in the NFL*

Joe Montana *Best Quarterback of All Time*

Note: 2-3 after Giants release Bonds and get rid of those old farts...you'll see new stars emerging

Niners are going to the playoffs this year. Defense finally becomes a factor.

San Jose Sharks continue to kickass this year.

Golden State Warriors go farther in the playoffs.

It's a good time to be a San Francisco Fan!

yes, but the way the Pat's have been playing against the QB "Greatness" of AJ Feeley and Kyle Boller

      anything could happen

    • Tacoman9

we have Jennings who is going to be a stud

      Driver, the reliable veteran

      James, the promising rookie

and Lee the extremely consistent TE

plus Ryan Grant, who may just be the best pickup in awhile

yea he was a good pick

Favre should be good but i really think he should sit out a game, i mean he deserves it

Rodgers played well so we know if Favre goes down again we'll be more confident

but They should finish 14-2 as the last 4 games are cake

      13-3 at the worst lol

    • Tacoman9

hey, if he's soo old then why is he right up there in the top 5 QB's this year so far?

and their defense is extremely good and we will beat dallas

      i dunno

u could argue for dan Marino or Elway

but likely in about 10 years people might say Peyton was the best ever

the ram's D is alot better wit hhta DE they got in the first round and the other two they drafted

even though the 49ers should amke the playoffs, i don't see them finsihing higher than 9-7 maybe 10-6

      On offense?

Calgary is 6th in the league for Goals a Game...The Sharks are Eighth.

Meanwhile, the Sharks are 5th in goals against, while the Flames are 11th.

It's just that I find the Sharks' defense to be an overachieving, untalented group, while the Flames defense is a highly talented, underachieving group. I think the Flames will do a lot better come Playoffs...but that's just me.

    • Killericon

But like I said, there's a severe lack of defense.

    • Killericon

I'm a Blackhawks fan first, but I cheer for the Flames currently.

Sharks are an enigma... Their defense is suspect, though, and I wouldn't bet on them going too deep in the playoffs.
