Especially if your using Microsoft Windows Word 1997 while a working semi-legal copy of 2007 sits in front of you but refuses to work since your DVD drive is too old. Lately I haven't had the time to do as much writing as possible, I got back from Malaysia last week, fun eight hour night time trip with a Korean Exchange student continually rolling his head into mine as he slept, and after that another six hours of fun as we drove five hundred a thirty seven Kilometres inland. Once I did get some sleep it was the exhilaratingly anticlimatical rush as you plonk yourself in front of the computer and madly work away with all your fancy devices in a bid to get them working correctly. The Ipod Touch is a neat peice of work and those G7 cordless mouses making gaming so much easier.

And of course after that was the third mad rush as you rapidly install games onto every available spot of hard drive sorting out the working and potentially flawed into two piles while watching as many of those 3 dollar movies as possible. Spider Man three was surprisingly good, Transformers was Movie of the year in my opinion, you have to either be Aussie, a farmer or New Zealander to understand how funny Black Sheep is, I have mixed feelings about Live Free or Die Hard and I still haven't watch Hot Fuzz, War or Shooter.

As all of this explains, I have no time in my tiny little day to do anything I'd really like to do. The Novel I'm working on got about two Hundred pages but then I had to stop, scrap it and start again, I'm currently working on the third attempt at the moment. Within the world, the story is focused around my twenty or so main characters, swapping from each point of view every so pages. That's how I do the main bulk of my writing. A battle scene is interesting and gripping if told correctly, and the majority of mine get told from several points and different characters.

I could really use some more time. I think when I'm alone, I create parts hundreds of pages into the story, I write it down, go back and start from the beginning, change this and suddenly the whole end half needs changerizing.

Salutations all that take the time to read this for i am currently several thousand kilometres away frpm my primary dwelling within the confines pf the small cointry town of narrabri. The country in question in which i have temporarily anchored myself in is glorious malaysia where you can by a genuine rolex watch for 20 ringgit. Acknowledging this I still spent several thousand on various electronic devices including digital cameras, cordless mouses, seiko and fossil watches along with this apple ipod touch from which I am cuurently typing from so please excuse my lack grammar and capitals.

Its been an absolute blast these past 18 days, my relatives have been smothering me with all the food available, probably put on a few pounds by now knowing gluttenous I can be, and they've also been kind enough to drive me all over Penang island dropping me off at markets, shopping centres and buddhist temples. Copying laws are still fraught with loopholes, there has been a crackdown on pirated dvds but still i've managed to acquisition 47 discs of 3 dollah games, movies and anime. Now i juat need to battle my way through customs i'm set for the next 4 years.

Before i sign off for another 2 weeks would anyone be kind enough to direct my tova program or method of copying dvd movies on to your iPod, first working method gets all my mods.

"I believe Futurama (from the same creator as The Simpsons) is also a subtle form of propaganda. It takes diversity to a whole new level. Not only are whites peacefully co-existing with other races, but humans are peacefully co-existing with other species (aliens, mutants, robots, etc).

The show is sacreligious. It makes fun of Christmas (portraying Santa Clause as a terrifying robot). There was one episode where they had proven that God does not exist, but there were still some monks in outer space that were searching for him.

In the first episode there were "suicide booths" were people could enter a quarter and choose to die "quick and painless" or "slow and horrible". They show one of the characters (I forget the name) walking around with a skimpy shirt, bear midriff. It promotes sexual promiscuity, for example, the one-eyed-alien has sex with the captain.

All the while it portrays the future in an up-beat, optimistic light..."

I'm sorry, I realize this doesn't represent Christianity as a whole, but I can't help myself from laughing as someone criticizes a science fiction/comedy cartoon for having coexisting aliens, humans, robots and mutants.\

Well...my computer did start running smoothly for a few hours, maybe half a day tops, then it hit another error spike and finally ceased starting up further then the ASUS motherboard screen. Its in a local computer shop getting fixed at the moment, but that leaves me high and dry on Entertainment, other then the 360; I'm not going to bother with Chromehounds, Quake 4 more of a GP chore and CoD 3 is FUCKING hard. Oh and I'm currently accessing the intarweb from the Dad's computer, which is more of a business thingo, I can run WoW with a grand total of 10 or 12 frames a second, which is the same as my computer...odd.

In other news, my lack of computerized entertainment, so I s'pose it not other news, drove me outta the house to rent some DVDs, go watch Sunshine, its really really good, Children of Men anyone?

I'm also getting the feeling that I'm very alone on RvB too, anyone still watch me?

I think my computer's finally starting to kick the bucket, it is about 10 years old, and has all its original components replaced over a gradual period. For one thing, It rebooted itself five times last time I started up, and now all my program controls have been wiped and I need to reset them.

Even still I can't shake the problem that its an internal hardware problem.

Oh, and that is the reason I've been able to get online, but I haven't had the chance to post a journal because the computer will reboot itself...right...about...now...hm....now.....wait for it ...now!

Oh happy days, it hasn't! And input helping me would be much appreciated.

    • Post Birthdays stuff.

      bothered

I've realised that now in Life, at the age of 16, Birthdays aren't as great as they used to be, sure, there's some anticipation towards to coming days, the praise is good and gifts are always nice, but after that, that's all. By the way, I got munys from me relatives and a phone from the perants which is a gigantic step up from the foam cup and string. I even have a dancing Gnome as my wallpaper purely because I can't find anything else. I still haven't gone fro my Ls yet, probably go sometime during the week, and my handy down car has been downgraded from the my dads original Mazda, that had popup headlights and two doors to Crappy, our budgeteered every job ute. Crappy's a nickname, the car's actually in good order and I don't what I get, as long as its free and drivable.

So I hear Blizzard is making another expansion pack for WoW. Goddamnit, I'm level 46 and I still need to buy Burning Crusade, increasing the Level cap is just another reason to make life harder on us newby characters. Every week I can fit maybe two or three levels in, and every week after it only gets harder. WoW is a good game, quite expensive but still a good game and Wrath of the Lich King only serves to expand its choking grasp on us.

I don't think I've told anyone else on this site or maybe the intarweb in whole, but I am a budding novelist, I do a lot more writing then I do reading, so all my work is probably entirely my own, albeit, I've probably been subconsciously influenced by the absolute masses of games I've played. And since I'm a gigantic nerd, it starts off in Fantasy and ends in Scifi, I think I'm setting myself a too large goal here, so far, I've got a total of something around the 200 page tier. And for some odd reason I can only really novelise later in the night, around the 11:00 pm to 3:00 am parameter. I think because there's so little things happening in the depths of the night, I can think straight. Like at the moment, the TV's on, there are noises down the hall and a looming stockpile of homework.

Some of that craps due tomorrow...shit.

If I get any feedback about the beta beta novel, I might elaborate, but until back to the early hours of the morning to think, rather then sleep.

    • Birthday timez.

      bothered

Yes, it is my Birthday to day, all my friends thought it was yesterday, verrrry reassuring that is. That's right, I'm now legally old enough to go for my L's and become a motorist even if I haven't driven in ages, think the last time I went out was on a paddock towing a gigantic water container around and watering plants. It wasn't exactly maxing the Gs, but it was a good enough insight into what being in the command chair of automobile would be. I need a car first however...
My external Hardrive still hasn't comeback, I could install the games onto the rest of the 30gigs on my computer internal hardrive but I really couldn't be bothered. Still, it has given me a chance to reignite Xbox live and continue my 44 Gnome Rogue on World of Warcraft and various other newby characters, including my tauren with goggles.
In other news, my trip to Malaysia, country of part of my origin has been delayed to the September Holidays, caregivers are adamant that I do not miss any school. Really can't wait, cheapo stuff is what I live for.

    • Continued shit.

My external harddrive is still dead, and is getting resurrected over in Melbourne, though to break the big bad slab of concrete that is boredom, I dscovered a I had another game sneaking around the C Drive, myes, DoW DC was there all the time and I had not noticed. But then again, I could just reinstall everything, but I can't be bothered, hence the name.

I just came into remembrance of a forum brawl I was involved in way back, I can't remember how the argument was started all I knows is the minute detail that he called people who believe we treat animals unfairly Attention seekers. My reply went something around "Well no! The best to get your message across can't be with attention! It must be the complete opposite!"

Which raises another with adjourned to me, I didn't exactly have back then correct knowledge back then of what a Furry was. As I do now, I find that Furries have a connection with animals. Its open question to anyone, but since becoming a furry do you feel certain resentment or even hostility to the Furring industry or any form animal harvesting? I would like as many answers as possible.

No, I know he won't go too much into detailing. That mistake's been corrected over the years. But, the changes are gradual. And never abrupt really.

They were only so in one case as I can recall.

At any rate though I'm with you on it. My confidence lies with him keeping this style. Though he may improve on it as we go along.

    • Bilge_Reppse

I'd have to agree for the most part.

I like how the older style gave it a bit-more of a Calvin and Hobbes feel.

But the newer style just looks, feels, and seems more effient all-around.

Funny how that works id'nt it?
