It's been a while since I have updated my info on my RT account. I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico about 4 months a go. So far the best part of ABQ is Rudy's BBQ. Also lots of green chili, green chili is on everything here I LOVE IT!!

So my wife and kids are out of town this weekend so I'll be playing Madden 11 and take a brake to go see Scott Pilgrim. Also picking up jalapeño sausage from Rudy's now the weekend is complete

Jazz fans don't jump off the cliff just yet. The Jazz head back to Energy Solutions Arena where the Jazz are 6-0 in the playoffs. I know the six win were against the Rockets and the Warriors but I know Jazz fans can make a difference in Energy Solutions Arena! The Jazz can't fall behind by double digits and hope to come back and beat the Spurs. If the Jazz can win the next two games the pressure is back on the Spurs. Champions find a way to win in a hostile environment and if the Jazz hope to win this series Jerry Sloan needs to get this young team battle ready to win in San Antonio. Well let's not jump ahead the Jazz need to win these next two home games to gain confidence. So if you at Energy Solutions Arena wear your Jazz colors and make some noise and if you're at home get your lucky charm and your game day routine (you know you have a certain routine) ready.

      Go JAZZ!!

      High school-
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Williams attended O.D. Wyatt High School where he played cornerback and was also a punt returner. As a senior, he was named 7-4A Defensive Most Valuable Player after posting five interceptions that featured several long returns, including a best of 54 yards. As a punt returner, Williams averaged 30 yards per return with four touchdowns.

Williams received little recruiting attention during high school, receiving offers only from Texas Christian University, Louisiana Tech University, and Oklahoma State. Reportedly, he was the last player signed to the 2001 class, and was only signed after an OSU coach's wife urged her husband to evaluate his talent further, as she was his school counselor.

      College-
Williams then went on to play football for Oklahoma State University. He played ten games his first year, the second half of the season as the starter. As a note of interest, during his freshman year, he returned two interceptions for touchdowns against Baylor. In the postgame press-conference, it was revealed that he had actually predicted he would do this, in a statement to then head coach Les Miles. As a sophomore, Williams started all of the team's thirteen games recording 53 tackles and three interceptions, while breaking up thirteen passes.

During his junior year, Williams continued to start for the Cowboys. He posted 66 tackles and six interceptions (third in the Big 12 Conference). He also broke up 17 passes. His performance junior year earned him first team All-Big 12 Conference honors.

His last year at Oklahoma State, Williams played in only seven games. He missed the last three because of injury, and was limited before that because of an arm injury. Still, Williams totaled 21 tackles (18 solo), three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery, which he returned 53 yards. Williams finished his collegiate career tied for first place all-time in Division I-A College Football in career interception returns for touchdowns. He had 11 career interceptions and scored 9 touchdowns on returns (5 interception returns, 3 punt returns, and 1 blocked extra point return).

      NFL-
In the 2005 NFL Draft, Williams was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round (56th overall). He recorded his first career interception on November 13, 2005 versus the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders were driving to score, when quarterback Kerry Collins attempted a pass to wide receiver Jerry Porter. Williams jumped the route, intercepted the ball, and took it 82 yards for the touchdown. The Broncos won the game 31-17.

Although an injury kept him out of the Broncos' lineup for the last three games of the 2005 regular season, Williams established himself as the Broncos' starting cornerback, recording 58 tackles and two interceptions. Williams' nine starts at cornerback in 2005 were the most for a Broncos rookie at that position since Louis Wright started 11 games in 1975. He also led the Broncos in punt and kick returns. Williams was recognized as a first-team All Rookie selection by Pro Football Weekly and the Pro Football Writers Association.

In the 2006 season, Williams and Champ Bailey made up one of the best cornerback duos in the NFL. Williams played in 15 games, recording 86 tackles (77 solo) and four interceptions (returning one for a touchdown), as well as serving as the team's primary punt returner.

His last game was a season-ending loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In that game Williams had three tackles and returned two punts for 50 yards before leaving the game with a shoulder injury late in the second half.

Well its tuff being a Broncos fan today. Broncos blow a HUGE lead to the Charger then on Thanksgiving Day they loose a big game to the Chiefs. I'm not a big fan of replacing the starting QB during the middle of the season (working out of Dallas) but the Denver offence needs something. I don’t know starting a rookie QB is the answer but Jake Plummer has just looked awful this year. Bronco’s fans don’t loose hope yet, the next five games are very crucial they need to go 5-0 or 4-1 to maybe get home field advantage in the playoffs. Yep I said it PLAYOFFS!! GO BRONCOS smiley11.gifsmiley11.gifsmiley11.gif

    • Football Season

It’s the greatest time of the year FOOTBALL SEASON!! Notre Dame plays September 2 at Georgia Tech (my b-day great gift) and then Denver Broncos play September 10 at St.Louis Rams.

I hoping Charlie Weiss and Brady Quinn bring the National Championship back to South Bend. I think Brady Quinn has a chance to win the Heisman Trophy. ND first six games will be extremely tuff at Georgia Tech, Penn State, Michigan, at Michigan State, Purdue, and Stanford. The last game of the year ND travels to USC.

The Denver Broncos have some tuff non-conference games this year. The Broncos start the season off with St. Louis then go back to Denver to play K.C Chiefs then the go to New England and that’s just the first three games. Week five the Ravens come to Denver, week eight the Colts come to town then week nine the Broncos travel to Pittsburg to play the Super Bowl champs.

My fantasy football draft is this Saturday at my buddy’s house. I have the eleventh pick this (I came in second place last year) year. Its save to say Larry Johnson, Ladainian Tomlinson and Steven Alexander will be gone by the eleventh pick. Any suggestions on who I should draft would great. I try to stay away from Broncos and Raider players; I’m too emotional about the Broncos and I CAN NOT CHEER FOR THE RAIDERS!!

Cool you're into stargate! Speaking of that I've got an ancient language translator (english to 5000 year old cuneiform script) you might want to checkout in my journal. Effing sweet I think...and took forever to put together :)
