One of the best parts about working at Rooster Teeth is interacting with the community and finding people that are doing amazing work on the Internet. In fact one of our brightest stars in the community just hit 10 million subscribers on YouTube. I think that kid is going places.
So, I am proud to announce that we are launching a new experimental program to make some of our talented hard-working members of the community a bigger part of our RTX events. This year we will be introducing RTX Ambassadors, people from the community who will be the faces and hosts of RTX. We’re launching this in Sydney, so we’re still in the process of figuring out exactly how all this will work, but you can expect to see the ambassadors introducing panels, interviewing people from Rooster Teeth and generally being the online guides of RTX.
Our first ever RTX ambassadors will be the crew from Boneyard Arcade -- a lovable group of
miscreants gamers based out of Sydney. We’re really excited to be working with Dan, Lucky, Chloe and Josh. We have met them at several events over the years and everyone here has fallen in love with them. We think you will too. If you’re not familiar with their work, please check out their channel Boneyard Arcade and follow them on all the appropriate following places.
After this trial run at RTX Sydney, we plan on opening up the selection process to the community as a whole. We will have more for information about that in the future. If you're interested in being an upcoming RTX ambassador: stay tuned.
And be sure to let the Boneyard Crew know what you’d like to see at RTX Sydney if you’re not attending. I’m sure they’d love the input on what to spotlight.
