      Sad day because Scrubs season finale is next Thursday. Although it was supposed to be the series finale, but, on Zach Braff's myspace page(http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=97669648&blogID=387269933), he says they are continuing with 18 more episodes of Scrubs for the 8th season of it. So my sad day went to a not not happy day. Then wow because I haven't been on or making journal entries because my laptop broke, then my freakin' PC decided it doesn't like to log in on anything except for e-mail.

      “Now I know that this is my father,†Rosha said in a sad tone. He knelt down next to his father and started to cry.

      * * * *

      Glade, meanwhile, was cutting up some carrots for supper. She finished up and put the carrots in the stew with the pork, onions, and garlic.
      “What the~?†Glade looked up at the kitchen window. She thought she saw a shadow pass over quickly. She shrugged her shoulders as if to shake it off. She sighed nervously. Glade reached over and grabbed a large knife.
      It hasn’t failed me yet, Glade thought, not since the rebellion. She put the knife into her sleeve, then started to put the pot above the cooking fire. Glade was startled to hear a crash, startled enough to bring the knife into her hand. She kept the knife in her hand. She searched the house carefully. She up to Rosha’s bedroom. She glanced inside. She saw that the glass was on the floor from the broken window. She kept quiet as she crept into the bedroom. She went quickly over to the bed. It was dark so she couldn’t see very well. She felt the bed. The sheets were all torn and slashed. Glade stifled a gasp. She ran downstairs. She stopped suddenly when she saw two figures in the kitchen.
      They haven’t noticed me yet, she thought to herself. What the strangers wore was a strange armor. It was a dull white. She gasped in recognition.
      Dragon Soldiers! No, Dragon Assassins. What are they doing here? Wait, they’re talking.
      “So where do you think our target is?†Asked one of the assassins. He had a deep voice.
      “Who cares? Hey do you smell food?â€Â
      “Yeah, smells good too,†replied deep voice.
      “Let’s go get some.â€Â
      “Sure,†Deep voice said. “I’ll take care of our little spy first.â€Â
      Glade’s eyes widened in terror. Deep voice turned toward her. Wrapped around the man’s arm was a chain. He unraveled the chain. Glade wanted to run but sheer terror held her still. The thirty foot chain was unraveled and ready for use.
      “A deadly weapon if you use it right,†The chain had sharp black blades that were made into it. He flipped it upward and caught it expertly. He started to twirl it like sling. He threw it at her. Deep voice let the chain run through his hand and let it seek it’s target. Glade came to her senses in time and dodged it. The blade chain dug deeply into the wood of the house. Deep voice jerked the blade chain from the wall, in the process ripping some boards from it. He walked calmly toward the stairs.
      “I’m going to… protect… the food†Said the other assassin.
      “You do that,†Deep voice thought for a moment. “No, on second thought, look for our target.â€Â
      Glade was running upstairs gripping her knife until her knuckles were white.
      “Boo,†Deep voice was standing in front of her. She screamed and started to go the way she came. She was downstairs, in the kitchen. She glanced around frantically. She looked over to the window.
      Yes.
      * * * *

      Kame, deep voice, heard a crash downstairs. He ran down and the kitchen window was busted.
      “Damn,†he breathed. He ran outside. He made a sweep of the area three times. “Where the hell is she?â€Â
      Glade, meanwhile was hiding in the cellar, she was trying to collect her thoughts and calm herself. Glade walked over to the wall. She used her hands to feel along the wall.
      “Where is it?†Her hand went in a bit. She pushed harder on that spot. The wall swung inward into a cavern. She was surprised to see her husband and tall person in dragon armor and the person had two elegant blades unsheathed. Glade gasped at the figure.
      Dragon Slayer! She went on her knees and bowed humbly.
      “My lord.â€Â

      * * * *

      Kame and Keil, the other assassin, met up with each other in the house. Keil was stirring the stew with a ladle he found. He grinned up at his brother.
      “Stew?†He asked as he offered a bowl.
      “No thanks,†Muttered Kame. “Where’s our target?†Keil shrugged his shoulders.
      “Who knows Grem*,†Kame knocked the bowl down.
      “Fool! Imbecile! You were to find him. Our briefing said that this person was an immediate threat to the Kingdom!†By this time Keil was mad.
      “Kingdom!? What Kingdom, Grem? Our King is a cruel dictator! Maybe we want an immediate threat. Maybe it would be better if he was killed or impeached! He’s making Selendeik into a worthless pitiful land. We are no longer a proud race, but a dead one. Maybe we should join the rebellion.†Keil brightened up at this. “Yeah, we could supply the rebellion with information and supplies.†Kame looked at his smiling younger brother. He started to pace around the room.
      “Maybe it would be for the best,†Kame glanced around the room. He noticed a door that blended in with the wall. Kame smiled wickedly.
      *Grem: Brother

      * * * *
      Rosha smiled down at Glade. During the assassins chat him and Ishmus had explained what was happening. In turn Glade told them what was going on also.
      “Assassins?†Ishmus exclaimed.
      “Yes, Dragon Assassins,†Glade responded coolly.
      “Well, what should we do?†Rosha asked in excitement. The couple looked at each other. After a few moments they nodded. Rosha looked around in confusion.
      “Huh?†He asked. They glanced over at him. Glade shook her head.
      “Nothing for you to worry about, dear,†She said kindly to him. “Let’s get going,†Ishmus nodded and searched the wall really quickly. When he found the spot he wanted he busted it and took out six large bags. They all tinkled.
      “Do ya know what this is?†Ishmus asked.
      “Just taking a wild guess,†Rosha said with sarcasm. “Is it money?â€Â

      I've had a real shitty 2007. First I lost eight of my family members in five fucking months! Three of them died on the same weekend. So after all that passed my family's cabin up at Priest Lake, which I've been going to all my life my mom also has been going there all her life, is going to have to be sold because Idaho is becoming ridiclous with the leases, guess how much they're asking for a year. $8,000. And now one of my cats is possibly dying. Oh a nd summer is ending and I'm going back to school on September 4th. On the bright side I started a new book. It's called Silent Scope.

      “Ah hell no,†Danium swore, as he pulled twin knives from his sleeves. Xium drew his bow and five arrows. He nocked one and drew the string half way, waiting. The other patrons and guests hid. Some made bets on who was going to win. Aiedin still had the mug in his left hand and the sword in the other. One of the foes broke the suspension and charged for Aiedin. An arrow took him in his ribs before he took two steps. He landed on his leader who gave a groan of pain. The nine looked at their dead comrade and charged the few yards of distance between the fighters. An arrow brought another one down. Six of the men went to attack Xium and Danium. Xium threw his quiver and bow down and drew his short sword and a small throwing knife. Danium drew two long knives and he gripped the handle of a smaller one between his teeth. The remaining enemies went for Aiedin. Aiedin took a long draught of the ale while putting up his guard. The three men lunged at Aiedin, as he protected himself while he stood drinking. He slew one of the men by cutting off the man’s head. The sober men looked at their fallen comrade with astonishment. That was their last mistake. Aiedin quickly killed them with two thrusts. Danium quickly slew two of his targets; his third target was wounded from the knife in his mouth. The enemy lunged at Danium and slashed his arm a deep wound. Danium yelped in pain threw one of his knives. The man dodged it with ease; but as the man dodged he got closer to Danium, Danium kicked the man hard in the stomach. The man puked all over the floor. Danium spat the knife in his mouth out and stabbed the man in the back multiple times. Xium had already killed one man with his throwing knife. He was dealing with the other two. He spared a glance over at Aiedin he was over at the bar asking for more ale. Nobody came so he crawled over the counter into the kitchen. He came back with a barrel of ale. He filled his mug and began to watch the fight and sing an old war chant:

      We come from all o’er the land
      To sing and fight our way to victory
      We come back ‘ome to sing and dance.

      Off ye go matey
      Don’t ya come back to me?
      We’ll sing and drink in yer name.

      We come to see the end o’ the world
      And we fight to the end
      We’ll plea to God and pray for our return.

      Off ye go matey
      Don’t ya come back to me?
      We’ll sing and drink in yer name.

      We’ll plea to God
      And fight to the end.

      Xium, by that time, had killed the two opponents. He stared at Aiedin vquizzically. Aiedin walked over to the unconscious leader and poured the remaining ale from his mug onto Ugly’s face.
      “Wakey, wakey, Ugly,†Ugly came to, and saw Aiedin’s mug come crashing into his face causing his nose to break over again and knock him unconscious again. Aiedin stood wiping his hands, shaking his head. Xium was roughly pulled out of the inn by Danium.
      “Where are we going?†Xium inquired.
      “Any place that guards won’t be looking for three murderers,†Danium growled. Aiedin staggered out of the inn and followed his companions.
      “I’m thirsty.â€Â
      “Cram it Aiedin, we’re looking for a way past the palace’s walls and guards.â€Â

      * * * *

      “My father?†Rosha asked in disbelief. He ran his hand over the coffin. It was cold and smooth.
      “Yes, well, part of him. Ya see, he-“
      “I know, he was ripped apart limb by limb by a group of dragons. I was there.â€Â
      “Right, well anyway, we found most of his remains and burned them. We grabbed his armor and swords and put the ashes in them.â€Â
      “We?†Ishmus sighed at this.
      “Well, I used to be in a rebellion against the now present King. I believe it still is here. I help supply them with food. And on the rare occasion, weapons. I was a Lance- Corporal,†He paused to take a breath. “Any way, your father is in that coffin with his armor swords.â€Â
      “You have my father’s swords?!†Rosha shouted excitedly. He bounces on his heels.
      “Yes, I do,†Ishmus said plainly.
      “Can I see them?â€Â
      “See them? Ha! Hell you can have them,†Ishmus said with as much excitement as Rosha. “ and the armor after all you are the rightful owner of them.†Rosha’s face was ecstatic.
      “I can?â€Â
      “Yeah, just help me get this lid off,†Together they lifted the lid from the coffin. Inside was dull white armor, almost a light brownish. The helmet was an awesome sight. It had a sinister look about it. It had the look of a dragon skull. The place where the cheekbones would be at the outside curved inward smoothly. Where the eyes were was a small slit, it was about three- fourths of an inch wide. There was a type of glass in the slit that helped see farther. Rosha ran his little finger on it. It was cold and hard, but definitely wasn’t glass.
      “That was made from dragon’s eyes. You can see through it like it was a telescope. Very unique,†Ishmus explained with a proud tone for knowing this bit of information. Rosha grunted in reply. His eyes wandered toward the twin blades that were lying there next to the resting place of his father. The scabbards of the swords were made from black dragon scales. The scales were smooth but tough. Inlaid in the scabbards were a single simple red jewels on each of them. The swords themselves were long and only one side of the blades were meant for cutting and slashing. The pommels of them had one blue sharp jewel.

      Rosha went to check on the animals. Rosha walked to the gelding. He finally had a name for him, Kerish. Kerish means valiant in the old language. He stroked the gelding’s head, grabbed some hay, put it in the bin for the horse, and walked off to check on the rest of the animals. As he was wandering by he heard some rustling in the hay nearby. Rosha grabbed a nearby plank of wood and he prodded the hay and moved it about.
      “Ouch!†Ishmus jumped up and was rubbing his head where Rosha had poked him.
      “What are you doing here?†Rosha asked.
      “Eh, um, er, nothing,†As Ishmus said this his eyes darted to where he just was.
      “What are you hiding old man?†Rosha said with a smile.
      “Nothing,†Ishmus replied with a serious but rigid tone. Rosha stared at him.
      “Fine,†Rosha turned on his heel past Ishmus. Rosha turned on his heel again and ran toward the spot where the old man was found. Ishmus tried to grab him but he was old and slow so missed. Rosha slid to the spot. He saw an iron ring. He poked it and then gripped and opened it slowly. He looked down. It was dark and there was a ladder leading to wherever the bottom was.
      “I was going to tell you later,†Rosha looked up to see Ishmus grabbing a lantern and started to head down the ladder. “Follow me.â€Â
      Rosha did as he bidden and followed the old man. Down they went, down into what seemed to be oblivion and hell waiting together. They finally reached the bottom. The pool of light from the lantern illuminated the large underground tunnel. The old man motioned for Rosha to continue to follow. Rosha did. They had to crouch to fit into the tunnel. They eventually reached a large cavern. There were grooves in the wall about three to ten feet deep and usually five to fifteen feet wide. Inside these grooves were artifacts, weapons, idols, banners, flags of forgotten nations. There were drawings on the cavern walls and tapestries that depicted battles and some that were just to soothe the mind. In the middle of the cavern was what appeared to be a large stone chest with writings and drawings all over it.
      “What is that?†Rosha indicated the stone chest.
      “That, my dear Rosha, is your father.â€Â

      * * * *

      Danium, Aiedin, and Xium strode into the city. Their men were already back at the main base caring for the injured and the dead. They three were to take the place of another three officers who searching near the castle’s walls for good places to scale or blow holes in. They found the men at an inn called the Dragon’s Wings. It had a picture on the sign of a pair of wings. As they walked in Aiedin went immediately to the bar and bought a mug of ale. Xium went to order some food and drinks for him and Danium. Danium took a seat at a table in the corner. He was in a position where he could see people walk in, but they couldn’t see him. Xium came back with two plates of pork and two mugs of wine. They rested for a bit. Aiedin came over with a mug of more ale. He smelled like liquor. He was grinning from ear to ear.
      “What are you so happy about?†Xium inquired with his own smirk.
      “Oh notin, jus very ‘appy. Wot Ur you so ‘appy ‘bout?†He asked with a slurred speech. He hiccupped many times.
      “Just thinking how you’ve survived so far.†Aiedin took this response seriously.
      “Ya w’nt to know do ya? Well I’ll tell ya lad. I may seem stubid at times but when I’m in the r’al world I rely on my wits an’ sword.†Then like a child he laughed and took a swig of ale, hiccupped, turned on his heel, walked away, stumbled, got up and looked around to see if anyone saw it. Then he went over to gamble.
      “Don’t let his appearance fool you Xium. He’s as deadly as any Dragon Soldier. Now, how a game of chess, eh?†At the end of his sentence there was a loud crash. Danium and Xium glanced over at the noise. They saw Aiedin sprawled on the floor, an upturned table, and a dozen large men glaring over at Aiedin. Aiedin got up and sighed as he brushed dust off himself.
      “Nah why did ya do th’t fer?†Aiedin asked.
      “You were eyeing my woman.†The largest of the group who was obviously the leader of them, pointed to a very attractive woman who obviously didn’t want to be with the group of men. It seemed like the leader he has had his nose broken several times. He was the most handsome of his group.
      “He’s uglier than Dane over here, and that’s saying something.†Xium snickered as he said this.
      “Thanks,†Danium muttered sarcastically.
      “Wot did you say?†The ugly one asked with a menacing look. He drew a cutlass from his back.
      “’E said ur ‘gly.†The ugly one turned and was punched between the eyes, there was a resounding crack. Ugly stared dumbly at Aiedin then his eyes rolled to the back of his head and collapsed. The remainder of the gang stared at their leader just as dumbly looked up to consider the odds of ten to three. They took their chances. They pulled out an array of weapons. Cutlasses, knives, daggers, and swords. Aiedin looked at them drunkenly, laughed, grabbed a nearby mug, looked at the contents, and turned a look of disgust at them. He threw the mug down and staggered to the bar ordering another drink. He grabbed the mug and drank greedily. He turned around to face his adversaries. He hiccupped, drew his sword, and took another swig.
      “Come on, mates,†He said aggressively.

      Chapter 5
      News for the King

      King Doesheir sat in a chair playing chess with his wife. He examined the board carefully and moved the bishop.
      “Check,†The King said to his wife proudly. Doesheir was considered a young man in his mid thirties, he was handsome, tall, and broad shouldered, black hair, blue eyes, and rather ruthless. He smiled down at his wife as she was studying the board. She glanced up. She grabbed a pawn and knocked the bishop down. Doesheir slumped back down.
      “Stupid game,†he moved a rook glumly. His wife took the rook with her queen.
      “Check mate,†Doesheir flung the board away scattering the pieces.
      “I’m going to get some fresh air,†he muttered. He walked out onto a balcony and took a look at Beinlor.
      “My lord,†A commander walked up behind Doesheir. “We’ve found him sir.â€Â
      And then Doesheir smiled a twisted smile and laughed a twisted laugh
