Hey, are you having problems with 4themasses?
      I am.
I put my password in and all, and it sends me to the forum homepage but not signed in.
I resent for a password and got one, put it in, same thing. So I put the wrong password in, it gives me a 'Username/password does not match" notification. I try six more times with the new password, no useful result. And I only got the wrong password notification once.

He should add a home page for each member.
Just like this one....expect it needs HTML tags

      for example: <img src="insert URL here"> etc.

the [img] confuses me sometime but I got the hang of it.....

and he should use a Mod point system.
I'll tell you what the mod names should be in message format.

You're welcome. It's not every day that I take a step back and say "Hey, what's going on? What is the source of the conflict? What good are the two sides going to get out of this?" I should more often.

    • Crunchjaw

Lawsuits should be reserved for serious matters like that.
Tough luck there, BTW. That sucks.

This is a true sory, sadly enough:
A robber kept breaking into a man's house. The man knew how he was getting in, so he set up a trap. The burgaler was getting in through a window. So, the man set up a stand for his shotgun and had the trigger set and reddy to pull by a wire that was attatched to the window. When the burgaler came back and opened said window, the shotgun was triggered. The burgaler was hit in the leg.He sues the man for intentional endangerment and potential manslaughter...and wins. No criminal charges were brought upon him.

It's true. I like to quote Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) from Men In Black where he says

A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.

I've always lived by what that quote says everytime there is a big outcry over these things. I try to think it through in a rational manner.

It's always like that. The minute one person gets a hold of this stuff, it's a situation that can be resolved quietly, carefully, and most importantly, properly. But the minute more than 4 people get a hold of it, the world screams murder, and demands to burn that person at the stake. That's the world we live in.

    • VocalDrummer

Not a problem my friend. I like the fact that, although we may differ slightly in some areas, we're still able to come to the agreement that, overall, he could've handled the situation much better. But I'll tell ya, if I was in the same situation, surrounded by a group of kids with skateboards, you'd better believe I'll do what it takes so I don't have to be watching my back while I'm dealin with suspect #1. That's part of the training that we get in the military.

It also seemed like, when the 2 kids first showed up while he was talking to S1 at the chair, he wanted to tell them to back up, but just sputtered out the whole "ordinance" line. Even when he got the second kid down on the ground, he had to tell the camera-man to back up, because common training would indicate that if you're dealing with character A, and characters B & C are moving close to you, they may try to do something that can cause you harm, so you're reaction will be to neutralize them or remove them from your safety perimeter so you can continue with character A.

Anyways, I appreciate your comment back to me, & I'm sorry for rambling again.

Yes, but suing the legal process is nothing but a sham to make money. The fact of the matter is that the individual officer is to blame, and should take the whole blame.

    • VocalDrummer

After living my life, I doubt there's much in this world that can upset me. If it's dealing with cops...I've probaby experienced it.

I'll check back in with you after I watch it.

rbbt, can u send me the main link instead of the enlarged version. for some reason, I can't even get it to start (the video) so if you could send me the regular youtube page it's on....

    • Crunchjaw

Yeah, but the people will soon realize there's no point. They can't sue the legal office of the area, nor the governmental area, because it was the lowly officer who did it and without orders to. As such, lawsuits would lose money for them.

    • Crunchjaw

      Me neither.
This would warrant under a case of assault, most likely, so there would have to be jail time served, if not probation or something.
Unless we get another Hilton situation here.
