I feel like I am at a good place in my life right now. Trying to see the broader picture but not lose track of the details. It's weird when you feel yourself growing up.

How have things been with you? I've been wanting to get involved with this site again because I think the community is one of the best on the internet, but just haven't really had the time to do that.

I graduated in May as well. Have a salaried big boy job at an awesome place. Starting grad school next year... its all well and good but leaves you wondering if it's what your really supposed to be doing.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be around here a bit more often. I need a shot of nostalgia daily. :)

Good to hear, definitely strange to feel yourself growing up. (or seeing that I signed up for the site 8 years ago)

Things have been great with me. Graduated college in May, started work a few weeks ago - onward to the next phase of life indeed

Yeah, NHL online is pretty popular. I have fun doing single player game modes though.

I play the hell out of NHL on my own. Also my roommate and I play a lot of games like Saint's Row as Assassin's Creed... what are you supposed to do with those online?

Unfortunately that is 100% the reason. Apparently now she is less frustrated. At the end of the day she just can't handle a long distance thing, and I can. So now we wait and see what happens.

This desktop cost me $1100 to build. I can't really shell out the cash for a new one. Not yet anyway.

I've been watching that gif of Henry scoring against Real for about 5 minutes. What a goal.

I take back all cocky remarks I made about Bradley and Silva

    • TKdademon

Even still. Having a house doesn't imply douchebags everywhere. One of my friends is in a band-only frat. They have a house, and they have parties. But they're really classy about it, I think. It's clean, they don't let random sluts in just because they have boobs, and since they're band kids they play actual good music that people like.

I mean we have plenty of douchey stereotype frats too, but there are plenty that are legitimately cool organizations.

    • TKdademon

Also, remember the stereotype of nerds (particularly me, a computer engineer). I don't particularly buy into those kinds of things.

    • TKdademon

I still argue in favor of professional and service fraternities. They don't even have houses half the time, and they are what they say.

    • TKdademon

What's so bad about them? If you don't like the parties, probably less than half the ones here have parties. If you don't like the hazing thing, that doesn't really happen much here either. If you don't like the "douchey frat boy" stereotype, well, that's a stereotype and I have a bunch of friends in various social/professional/service fraternities that are just regular people.

Bradley always seems angry about something in the game, but he always seems to be getting along with everyone and being nice to the fans. Some fans recently have been kinda douches to him in Seattle, so he's been wearing earplugs. Kinda pisses me off.

More important, the Mariners walked off on the Jays last week and this happened

Hahah, because spring games are the most important of all ;)

Yeah, don't worry. It's gonna be another tough year for Seattle, too. Hopefully we both can improve from last year. Especially the abysmal M's offense.

Oh, in case you were wondering, Milton's doing very well haha

Hey, did you hear already about tonights Monday night lunar eclipse, it is supposed to be a full eclipse of the moon, I am not totally sure when it is supposed to be visible for all of us here in the central time zone, but I think it is supposed to begin around 11pm "approx" first the moon will turn sort of orange and then go black, and it will be a long time before it comes back out again, it will be cool.

info about the eclipse can eb read here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_2010_lunar_eclipse

If Ben weren't a good QB, that whole bar incident wouldn't have even been reported, because if you aren't a good QB, you're backup, and no one gives a shit about you.

Or the Steelers would've traded him because they only tolerate shitty behavior if you're a star.

yea but i never once cheered for the US team if anything i wanted them to lose every match they played so putting up a mexico badge means nothing to me.

You're a Cubs fan? Somehow that sounds familiar...

Fun fact: Pirates ownership actually paid a guy to write an article for a local sports news website saying that the Pittsburgh Penguins were worse off than the Pirates because they have only won a single championship in the past 17 years among a dozen trips to the playoffs. Seriously, that happened.
