Everyone has been telling me to watch this show even Meg Turney. They all say it's really damn good and seeing that it's been nominated for a Golden Globe I guess theyou might be right.

      Well, time to find out.

    • NYCC Recap

I was able to go to NYCC Friday and Saturday, and since I've had time to relax I just wanted to share my experience.

This was my first big convention experience. I've been to RTX twice, but I'm talking about an event where the tickets are sold out in about an hour. So, this was a big event and to celebrate I decided to cosplay for the very first time. Since I never did this before I wanted to go simple, so I went as Frank West from DR4 in preparation for the new game and It's one of my game series.

Friday: I spent the whole day travelling around the show floor. I wanted to get a chance to look at every booth and then comeback to see what I could grab. I spent some time at the RT booth, bought some merch and was able to play Battlesloths. I had a real fun time playing, it reminded me of the old party games where it was more skill then luck. While playing I couldn't help but think what a certain pink bomber would think of the game. I was also able to meet some of the RWBY crew over there and I just wanted to give them a big thanks for taking the time talk and take a picture.

I then headed over to the Capcom booth. When I saw that they had DR4 demo playing, I quickly went in line. When it was my turn to go up the developers there asked if they could take my picture, a smile quickly formed on my face. Before going to them, a lot of people had thought I was Santa on vacation, Stranger Things (which I've never seen), or Christmas Negan. So seeing them know I was Frank really made me happy. The demo I played was the one they had at E3 and after playing it and being told it's been updated since E3, my excitement for the game has grown even more. The new combined weapons were creative and fun, the exo suit is a nice new edition to the series. When I left however, I met three other guys who dressed up as DR1 Frank, Chuck, and Nick. They were really nice guys I was glad to see other people were excited for the game as well.

Xenoverse 2, a game that for the longest time made me uncertain. Ever since playing the first Xenoverse, I was really negative towards it. I thought the story was ok, the combat system sometimes a little frustrating, and the loot system was awful. So after seeing stuff for Xenoverse 2, my interest for the game quickly disappeared. But, after playing the demo I honestly have to say that I'm interested again. The combat has really improved and the new characters are fun to play. I'll defiantly keep an eye on this now.

Sunday: I spent most of the day going around the show floor with a mental breakdown following. The crowd movement in this convention was insane. People are colliding with each other and are stopping in the middle of traffic. It really got annoying, and for some reason it never felt like that in RTX. After a while I just stayed in the cafeteria for 40 minutes waiting for my ride to come. The only good stuff to happen was watching the RWBY panel which was great. Most of the stuff was unfinished but what they did have for the opening and first two minutes of the episode were amazing and was filled with surprises. The next was meeting Meg Turney who was fun to talk too and convinced me to finally watch Stranger Things. Which I will do as soon as I'm done with Luke Cage.

Overall, I felt like I had a better time at RTX then at NYCC. I think it wasn't as crowded and had more stuff that I was interested in that made it more fun. But, that doesn't mean I had a horrible time. The stuff I was able to do and the people I got to meet really made my time there enjoyable. Heck, after cosplaying for the first time it made me want to do it again. I think I'll make it more complicated this time around. Either way thanks for taking the time to read this, I'll make sure to post some pictures this week.

With E3 happening tomorrow I just wanted to make a quick list. I'm guessing one game for each company, but these predictions are supposed to be highly unlikely but could actually be announced. So without further ado here's the list.

      EA: Star Wars: Imperial Commando

      Bethesda: DOOM story DLC

      Microsoft: Battletoads

      Ubisoft: Prince of Persia

      Sony: Red Dead Redemption 2

      Nintendo: Metroid

With E3 2016 just around the corner I wanted to ask a few questions. First, what are you hoping to see this year? Second, what was the biggest disappointment to happen at past E3s and last, what happened at past E3s that got you hyped?

    • Goodbye Lionhead

Today marks the last day of Lionhead studios. It's always sad to see a developers get shut down, but as an Xbox fan Lionhead's shut down makes it a lot personal. These were the guys who showed the world of Fable to everybody.

Sure did everything they make was pure gold, I shouldn't have to explain Fable Kinect. Were their decisions great, till this day they should of released Fable anniversary on Xbox One. But these guys still had a place in gaming and Xbox, and for that we should always remember the good. I hope those who work at Lionhead go off on their next adventure soon.

I thought I wouldn't be able to go but that's all changed now. I just bought my ticket for Lazer Team at my local theater. Can't wait for the release.

Well, for at least two years I've used Magix edit pro as my default editing program. But, due to recent events I've had to delete it and now it's kinda messing with my laptop. So now I have no editing program, so if anyone knows of a good editing program please mention it in the comments.
