I wasn't going to post this on here, but it's been a couple of weeks since I finished it, and people genuinely seem to like it, so what the hell?
I've been teaching myself animation and general film making over the last year or so, and have been working with a fun little character called Honeypot, a cartoon bear with a disjointed personality. His first video was not great, I always describe it as being two minutes of solid, funny content, but unfortunately it's an eight minute video. But the stuff that worked was good, and the character was enjoyable.
Next I did a "movie review" with him watching the new Fantastic Four film. It was actually an alright video. Not what I had hoped, but still a lot of fun, and definitely not dull.
The latest video is a continuation of the movie review show, this time focusing on The Force Awakens, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of it. It's the closest I've come to making a video that worked out the way I saw it in my head, and now I'm actually having people ask me about future videos. It's a good feeling.
I still have a long way to go, but I'm finally biting the bullet and posting the video here, because you guys are, of course, big online content watchers, and you know what you like. If any of you want to check out the vid, and give me feedback (good or bad. I genuinely want to get better and better), I would really appreciate it.
And who knows? You may actually get a laugh out of it.
Peace out, you beautiful individuals!
