Sitting in the Barcelona airport waiting for our flight home. Cruise was great and tiring. Climbed Mt. Vesuvius. Climbed the leaning tower. Walked all over Athens and Rome. Busy trip. Pictures later maybe.

Only tangentially related to all of that: I'm engaged now. So there's that.

We are less than a week away from heading out on our Mediterranean cruise. I am very excited. I'm not looking forward to the ridiculous flight from DFW to London. At which point we have to switch airports in London (WTF, England? Why you be annoying?). Then we fly to Venice where our cruise starts. I think I've mentioned it before, but stops include Dubrovnik, Croatia where part of Star Wars ep 8 are being filmed, Athens, where we've booked a sightseeing tour including the Parthenon and a museum, Naples, where we're seeing Pompeii and climbing Mt. Vesuvius, Rome, where our tour includes the Colosseum and St. Peters along with many other sights, Pisa, where we're climbing the leaning tower, and more stops in Montenegro, France and Spain.

Suffice to say, it's gonna be a busy couple of weeks.

So who is playing Pokemon Go? (Brief explanation in case you've been under a rock for the last few days. The game lets you use your phone to find and catch Pokemon in the real world) I have not played, but it's been a lot of fun to read about over the last couple of days. People finding dead bodies. People being robbed. Read an article on Gizmodo about how some poke stops are strip clubs or even a place in Seattle called Club Z, "Home to an all-hours, mirrored glory hole maze." I don't want to know.

Then there's the tweets from this other article. "I was sitting in my parked car when a van hit it. He was playing Pokemon Go and didn't see me. I too was playing. This game will kill us all." Or this: "Pokemon Go is getting out of hand. Someone in a car drove by, asked if I was looking for a wild Onix, and I was."

I dunno, maybe I'll download the game at some point, maybe not, but either way, it's already been quite entertaining for me. So who is playing? what do you guys think of it?

DreamWorks Hears 'Voices From The Dead'

DreamWorks has acquired Voices from the Dead, an original script by Changeling and Thor scribe J. Michael Straczynski. The thriller is based on the friendship between magician Harry Houdini and mystery author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They were actually friends, but the script is a fictional account of how they teamed up with a psychic to solve bizarre murders in 1920s New York. CAA made the deal.

Yeah, don't know what to say, I've seen the UK pilot so I know what's gonna happen so it doesn't bother me any. Not sure if it would bother me if it was a new show.

I've been meaning to check them out. I hear they take some liberties with the mythos. How are they?

Also, I have a modern myth short story if you'd like to give it a read.

Hey, did you hear already about tonights Monday night lunar eclipse, it is supposed to be a full eclipse of the moon, I am not totally sure when it is supposed to be visible for all of us here in the central time zone, but I think it is supposed to begin around 11pm "approx" first the moon will turn sort of orange and then go black, and it will be a long time before it comes back out again, it will look awsome.

info about the eclipse can be read here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_2010_lunar_eclipse

size is considered when they do the percentage... it's all by per capita to make it fair... there are some 4-screens and a 2-screen as well in the company...
but yeah, would have been nice to get a cash prize instead, or, you know, had a family member or friend who liked football, something... :(

Yeah, people really suck and I just keep setting myself up to get hurt, I need to learn to stop doing that.

You're right, I shouldn't have pinned my happiness on just him but I did. I'm 19, almost 20, there is no book out there, no guide, nothing to really tell me what love and life are really going to be like, I have to test the waters and find out for myself and try to learn as I go.

But people suck and I mean, really suck. Thank you for reading let alone commenting on my journal.

I was just reading your weird diary thing...dude you pay way too much attention to fucking detail, in both of your examples, you knew exactly what both of the people meant, from the accountant to the boss of the factory. You understood perfectly what they MEANT, but proceeded to correct them anyways, which doesn't make you any more mathematically correct, it just makes you a douche.
