I just want to put this out there for the people that I may not have talked with these past couple of days, especially those friends I'd like to continue playing with.
For the Winter League of grifball, I may or may not stay with Bleep Bloop. In all honesty, it depends on how well we do this season and who sticks around for next season. Of course I wouldn't turn down the chance at a title, but I wouldn't quite be amicable to help rebuild a team. I hope that doesn't sound messed up, because I wouldn't think of being like that to friends. And it's nothing against BB cause I'm having fun and enjoy the hell out of being on the team, but I'm wearing down on competitive grifball.
But really what do I mean by this journal? Well, if certain things fall in place HLC will make a come back. It was always the thought for at least me to take a season or two away from the team I created and then come back, but the rest of the team decided to do the same. So it came to be a question of starting HLC back up again when the time was right.
Here are my thoughts of HLC's come back...
HLC would move down to Ammy. I'm moving forward on finally getting my degree and while that is still a while away, my schedule and a few others are going to be a little more full. So a set day would be great for us again. I know people are gonna argue that we're a Pro caliber team, but to be honest I don't want to play in Pro for much longer and I'm more than happy to let a newer team have a chance.
HLC will be opened up to all HLC friends that may be without a team. Of course, former Chasers have preference but if we have spots to fill we would like it if anyone would join us. We'll go for the full roster of 8 players.
Everyone will get equal playing time. If we have 8 players on for game night, then we will have all eight players play in hopefully the two games of the night. I want everyone to get equal playing time, that includes playoffs. I've played in every HLC playoff game, but I'm willing to sit to let someone experience a playoff game.
We're going back to having fun and not caring if we're winning or losing. I couldn't care if we go 10-0 or 0-10 for the season, as long as everyone enjoyed their season I'll be happy. We won't worry about neutral host, disputes, or any kind of drama. All of that will checked at the door.
So, keep in mind HLC may be coming back in a season or two. But when we do, it'll be just like it was when I could betray Blaine for the ball and no one would care.
