My tablet died a while ago, and I want to use this Christmas as an opportunity to replace it.
I've settled on an Intuos4, but I'm not sure which size to get, medium or large.
The large is much bigger, but I'm not sure that's worth the $120 extra it costs.
      Thoughts?

So, I just watched Chapter 19.
. . . are we supposed to be rooting for Tex in that fight? To be honest, I'm pretty tired of her, so I kind of enjoyed watching her get owned at the end.
      Anyone else?

      So. . .
Sixteen comments on my last journal and not a single code. Helpful.
However, the resulting debate has been an interesting one, although displaying ever unfortunate sign of the infamous internet argument.
On one hand, there are people who think that it is ridiculous to pay full price for they believe is essentially one third of a game, and this is a view I initially shared. When I first heard that Starcraft II was going to be split up into three parts, each for $60, I thought, "Bullshit!".
However, I realized that it is a very semantic way of looking at it to brand SC2 'one third of a game'. There is a full length storyline, longer certainly than some games I've played recently, in addition to the multiplayer that made the rest of the world want to not piss off any Koreans.
Buying the complete set of Starcraft 2 is the same as buying the Halo Trilogy, but with the added advantage of having consistent and free online.

It's pretty amazing, I'd highly recommend getting it if you have the computer/time.
For anyone who has or is planning to purchase Starcraft:
Character Name: felicks (Creative, I know)
      Code: 658

Add me on battle.net and we'll play sometime!

Tomorrow, school is over for me. While this would usually be a very joyous event, the circumstances that surround it dull any potential excitement. You see, the day after I get out of school, I will have to take the ACT, which in itself is not that bad. However, three short hours after I finish taking the ACT, my team and I leave to Kansas City to go to the National Debate Tournament. Five days later, on the 18th, I will return. The next day, I have to leave for camp in Washington DC, which will last a total of three weeks.

In effect, my summer won't begin until July 10th, as I define summer as a time where I could actually sleep the fuck in if I wanted to do so.
This is going to be fun. smiley5.gif

The tournament in New York went well, we got second place after losing in finals.
Unfortunately, we had to wake up every morning before 7:00 AM, and the pattern has continued throughout the school week.

I'll have to make to time to catch up on the weekend.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to yet another debate tournament, this time in the Big Apple.
I'll be back either Sunday or Monday, depending on our performance, so I won't be online much of that time.

Indeed. It's a very intelligent storyline, which makes it hard to effectively transfer to a purely audio/video medium.

I'm not sure how much help I would be, but it certainly sounds interesting. At the very least I'd like to learn more about i the project.

Well, here's my prototype set of lines for the trailer and/or opening shot:

My name is Kortney Aneurin, I work for (company name) and, if you have the technology to watch this, I need your help. We weren't killed in the explosion, we're alive and well in the past. For now. I'm attaching what little data we have on the accident and you've got to help us. Please bring us home. History isn't as fun when you can't escape its savagery. And the people... I don't even know if you could honestly call them people. They don't know who we are, they haven't really noticed us, but it's only a matter of time.
When they do... I don't know how long we'll be able to last.

I imagine you're probably quite short on cash like the rest of us, but I'd take a look on Google, see if there's anything connecting to Ontario or Virginia (there'll be something) and then see if you can get a deal you can afford. If the cheapest's 3 times your budget, fair enough, you looked and got no joy... but y'know.

So you just shade Minnesota red... or I could do it.
Were I you, though, I would look at the methods you would use to travel and see exactly how far they'll take you within your budget. So far, the only ones who can make it to Minnesota are Cevrus and Dwiz... though Captain and Sekai can make it to Ohio and Firewolf lives there... so if you discover a cheap&easy way to get there, it might improve your odds wink.png Might be able to convince Biolith and TheCC to drive as far as Ohio too, but I'm not sure.

I've hit a small snag in calculating where to make the Con... that snag is software limitations. I'm gonna have to go about it in a slightly different way.

      01-Comradelocations.png

I don't care how you do it, but I'd be grateful if you could shade the places you can get to for the Con. Quick as you can, then I can work out the best place(s).
