I realised I was in trouble after I calculated that the best way to kill my self would be to combined the a internet cable with a dumbbell. At that point it hit me, it was time to talk to someone and see the doctor.
After seeing the doctor and letting the pills kick in. I told my friends about what was going on.
But that will only take you so far, it's time to do something other than sitting on your own in silence.
Starting with what you know. For me it's making online content, so I bought a Snowball mic. We started with some test Podcasts and so far, its been a good start.
so here is my to do list for the next six months:
Record, Edit and Publish Youtube gaming and short videos
Record, Edit and Publish Gaming, Movie, News and nerdy stuff Podcasts.
Play some live games on Twitch including Magic: The Gathering in real life
Start some weekly Vlogs with friends
Start a new company
Renew my RT membership and start a monthly journal
Become more pro active with the online community and social media
Save up some money and apply for grants for a new editing rig and camera
Lose weight and take better care of myself i.e. exercise more and eat better
Make a video for the Achievement Hunter community
Network in real life with like minded people
Restart doing Airsoft as a hobby and maybe do some videos
This is a lot of hard work, but the point is. If you have depression see a doctor, tell a friend, take small steps and when clarity hits you find something to do, Then make a list and get to it.
