I actually have a curiousity question for the forum to speculate over. And that is about Elites/Sangheili and their naming methods. All I know really is that a '-mee' on the end of a Sangheili's name constitutes a Gold Elite rank. (I don't believe there has been a topic on this subject before).
This is not shown anywhere in the games sadly. However, Sangheili names appear in the Halo novels by Eric Nylund and William C Deitz. In the book, we have a Nosolee, a Zamamee, and Yayap (whom I can't remember his rank). In the Halo Graphic Novel Released by Marvel, there is an Elite named Kusovai. Sadly, our good friend "Stumpy" (AKA: "Half-Jaw") in Halo 2 (I am more than sure you know who I am talking about) was given no name in any Halo printed media I've found so far.
So yeah, is there any real hints as to how these things are being named? I'd really like to read up on it and be educated as it's just something that really interests me. Oh by the way... Honk-Honk/Crunchbite doesn't count. =)
Heheh, thank you for reading! I hope to read your replies on this subject soon!

Additional: Yeah, this is a weird topic. And yes, I am a nerd. =P
