Sorry I chuckled after reading about the upside down power supply, but the following "lesson learned" comment was priceless. Bummer for all your troubles.

Chuckle away. Usually I just get "You dumbass" from my techie buddies. But truly, expensive lessons are even harsher than the hard ones

Yes; you may be too smart for that shit, but the way you think and operate make you a great leader. I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and wish my CO's were 1/2 the leader you appear to be.

Huge compliment. Seemed like the kind of thing I should acknowledge and say thanks for.

During winter, in Quebec, the outside temperatures can vary between -25 o C (-13 o F)
in February to 5 o C (41 o F) in March. Appropriate clothing is necessary.
Inner layer: Your underwear must let humidity break away from your body. This layer
must be composed of synthetic or a mixture of wool and synthetic materials. Cotton
should be avoided because it retains humidity. This way you will stay dry and warm.
Middle layer: The middle layer should regulate the body’s heat and isolate. Wool,
fleece and thermal sweaters are recommended.
Outer layer: The outer layer should protect against wind and exterior humidity, we
suggest ski jacket and pants. During the night, guests should not be overly dressed.
Excess warmth will cause perspiration. Humidity will then form which will make you
feel cold. Before heading to bed, it is important to change into dry clothing, made of
      synthetic fibres and not cotton.
Hats, gloves, boots: It is essential that all extremities are protected from the cold. A
proper hat prevents from loosing heat. A hat should also protect ears and neck.
Gloves are essential for protecting your hands while enjoying your cocktail in a glass
of ice. Boots should protect against moisture as well as the cold ground and should
be larger than a normal shoe, in order to leave space for socks and soles and to have
an insulating layer of air in the boots.

I don't plan on even getting to grandpa's house until 1300. We might not start shooting until 1400 because of traffic and getting Sherri and Mike registered at the range.

Yeah. I had it bad last night too. Stayed up late for the fireworks on Saturday so I slept in. I wanted to lay off of the sauce I had been imbibing all week and so I had nothing to low me down until I finally gave in at 0200. I almost dropped in ad drug you to the range with me yesterday. I had a couple of my weapons and ammo with me when I dropped Sean off with his Mom yesterday afternoon. All of the ladies from his Mom's side of the family (Mom, Aunt, G-Ma, Great G-Ma, etc) cornered me about his surgery and a few others things and I figured you and Dana might be at PT before she goes to work...let me know how Dana handles drive by husband snatching and I'll be me prone to do it next time.

You work for a much larger company than I.

If the president of NG sent me an FR I am guessing I would be nervous as well. It may sound odd but the president of a fortune 500 would get much more respect and nervousness from me than the president of this country any day.... Especially the current one.

The timing will probably put it in June some time after I get that order of surplus 7.62 I ordered. I'll have the range fees/membership worked out by then.

It's not. I just recently found a big bore outdoor range long enough to make it worth my while to BZO it. I am looking to Get 'Er Dun here pretty soon once I find out the range fees/memberships for these new ranges I've found. I plan on BZO the iron sights and then remount the tactical sight and zero it. It'll stay until I get my 870 reworked and tapped for a set of mounts. I jsut might need a spotter for said day at the range... smiley8.gif

Hey Aron! I gotta tell you. I was working pediatrics today, about 2 hours ago infact, and I was up on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The other student and I were about to leave the floor to rejoin our clinical group and a couple was down from us with their child. The guy asked us where we were hoping to end up with our RN degrees, the other student made a comment about his training, and I responded to how that was from being a fire fighter and that there's a 'paramedic to RN' program. The guy said where he was from, and I asked him about some people I knew from the area, and the couple knew them. And low and behold, by the time we figured out who everyone knew... the wife wanted me to tell Aron that Emily Brandt (I think that was the last name) says 'hi', and that you were like her 8'th brother. I didn't get too long to talk with them, but they were a very nice couple, and I told her I'd pass that along. Small world

      It says (loosely)

This is what we agreed to when we signed the Constitution.

You (the fed gov't) are breaching that contract.

We are reaffirming that this is what it meant.

It can also be argued, although I didn't read that far into it (as to whether they are actually saying it), that they will consider any federal law they consider counter to either their State, or US Constitution to be null and void within the bounds of their state.

They are also making noise to the effect that further such breaches of contract could lead to the dissolution of the union.

yeah. I'm pretty sure you don't need a sponsor for the paintball park. Maybe the stables will be similar. Anyway. Sherri had a good enough time that I could talk her into doing it again.
