      Hello everyone

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (when it comes) to all of you. I would've made a journal sooner but having a job with a graveyard shift and just getting Skyrim eats away what time you have to do most normal things.

Along with Skyrim I also got a new xbox with built in wifi. I had an older model which means that all the saves I had on it are lost since there's no way, or at least one I can't find, to send your saves from an older xbox to the newer model. I also wasn't connected to xbox live at all because I didn't have much money to download anything with so all the achievements and avatar unlockables I got during that time are lost as well. Again, that's okay with me since I'm the only one to blame for that.

Though the presents were great it was nice to just spend time with my parents having coffee and eating some pie. Maybe it comes with age or experience but you really do come to realize that presents don't make the season. The things you have, the people in your life, taking time to understand how fortunate you are compared to others who have it much worse then you. Not always a fun thing to think about, but sometimes it does put things in perspective.

Go hug someone you love, I'm sure they would appreciate it. smiley1.gif

      Well alright then

After being here for about 3 months now I've finally managed to find work. I start Tuesday at our local grocery store as an over night shelf stocker.

While it may only be a part time position it's also only a 15 minute walk from where I live which really makes me feel more secure about getting there on time and not having to worry so much about the weather.

My sister and brother also left a few days ago after showing us around our own town. smiley7.gif It was a lot of fun and they got me a nice desk since that was one of the things I had to leave behind to make for room in the moving van. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but it's nice to have something sturdy to put my laptop on and have something to put misc. things in.

It also means I can draw again after 3 months of not even holding a pencil to draw. It doesn't seem like a logical reason not to draw if I really wanted to but there's something about not having to draw in the kitchen where my mom comes around to check up on me every 10 minutes to see what I'm drawing or trying to draw on my bed with nothing but a hard back cover sketchbook for support. I doesn't work out as well as I first thought it would. smiley4.gif

Life is turning around slowly but surely and with a few months of work the bills will simmer down and things will calm down much more. Life is good. smiley1.gif

      Yeah...

I wrote an awesome journal filled with emotion, twists, a young heroine *ahem* (me.. smiley0.gif ) and something involving pudding explaining my life so far in Moorhead, MN for two months and somehow deleted...yeah. Magic I tells you!! smiley4.gif

      Short version of previously..killed journal.

-The house is big with enough room to both hold and do stuff in. Didn't have that kind of house before.
-My dad and I had work but than lost it when the company went on lockout for being big stinky poo heads. Hopefully we'll get our jobs back.
-My awesome brother and sister came in from Calgary, Alberta to see us and have been spending a lot of time and money on us. Which makes us feel both loved and guilty. smiley1.gif ... smiley2.gif
-I've been coming up with these stories in my head for a while now and putting them to animation that I come up with on the fly to music that I like. It's great that my sister is getting me a little desk for me to draw on again. I haven't in so long I feel terrible;I had to leave my desk, among other things, at our old home in Houston since my mom can apparently fill a 26' moving van with no trouble at all leaving very little room for my dad and I....*sigh*

That's pretty much life for me right now. Could be better, could be a helluva lot worse. I'm sure thing's will turn around soon and we can get out of debt and have some spending money and such.

Ya know, I think this journal works better then the other one actually. smiley7.gif

      I'm back.

Everyone good? Good. Life's already improving here. Work is a definite possibility here, the new house is very cool, the environment is clean and the people are all just so nice.

Yeah, I could get used to living here. smiley1.gif

      Bye Houston

The time is nearly open us. My parents and I are finishing up a few more things here and then we make our way to Moorhead, Minnesota to start a new chapter of our lives. We'll hopefully leave around no later then Tuesday and be there within a day of driving. Things will be different from the weather to the people to even being able to find work which would be great because Houston is plum dry of them I reckon...don't judge me.

We're also packing up the van around the same time RTX starts smiley4.gif , but that's alright. Having no money, my chance of going was slim anyway. I'm no sure how soon we'll have access to the internet so it could be a little while until I'm back on. Maybe it'll just be a few days after settling down. Hush my children, life goes on even without me you'll be fine.

Wish me and family luck on getting up there in one piece and I'll get back to guys as soon as I'm able. smiley1.gif

      New laptop is new:)

Okay, everything is all better now. Life may continue as is now that I have a laptop that won't kill itself trying to stay online for more than ten minutes.

So...how's everything been the few weeks I've been gone?

      laptop problems

There's some trouble going on with my laptop so if I drop and don't come back for a while no worries. I'm hoping that when my parents and I move to Fargo, North Dakota and my dad and I have found work, we'll get a new one.

So far, I can't stay on any sites such as youtube, DeviantArt, etc. for more than 10 minutes meaning I need to wrap up before it crashes again. It turns on just fine but we just can't use it for much besides e-mails or if we're quick and get off the site fast enough.

It's been with us for a while so I can understand the performance problems. I try to jump on when I can but we'll see. smiley2.gif

      Oh, Hai Thar...

      (Did I do that right?)

Anyway, It's been almost half a year since my last journal so It's time to update:).

Sadly, it's only one real thing and it's a bummer. My dad and I still have yet to find any work despite going through Workforce Solutions and attending classes and whatnot. With no work to pay for things we're having to cut back. First was canceling our cellphone services (which I cared nothing for anyway), next was our selection of food which seems to actually have gotten better somehow since we got food stamps.

      Go figure.

The worst to come though might (or will) be our connection to the outside world. Television, phones and internet may be gone in a few days unless we work out a deal with our provider(s). I couldn't care less about the phones since it's always automatic calls anyway and the TV would only bum my mom out since she'd lose her stories. Sacrifices must be made and if it means she can't watch her soaps so be it! *maniacal laughter goes here*

The internet though would crush what little life I have into the ground as that takes away my connection to friends, family and you guys:(. I'm hoping that we can strike a deal with Comcast, or whoever it is, and spare the internet. So much would be lost without it and we'd be forced into the sunlight! Do not want!

If it shows that I have not signed in for a few days it means I'm dead I don't have the internet and I don't know how long it will last until it is returned. My dad and I are going to Workforce again this Monday and will be applying for just about anything at this point. Maybe even fast food services or as a cashier. *sigh*

Well, here's hoping I wrote this journal for nothing and something works out. If not, I'll see what can be done about work and we'll see what happens from there. Just in case, see ya guyz at some point in the future. smiley1.gif

      Tis' the season...

for a generic Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, etc. journal. smiley0.gif

I hope this year has been, at the least, mildly good to you. It was mostly good to me with another year of RvBTO goodness and a few more friends to look forward to next year. I feel I've gotten a little closer to my goals of drawing and a few other ones. Hopefully, I'll have gotten even closer to them next year. smiley1.gif

Enjoy the time off from work/school etc. and savor the holidays.

      And I'm back

I spent some time unpacking and trying to see if my pc is salvageable from the last virus attack. It just needs a new hard drive, until then I'll be using my mom's laptop.

Even if I have the various distractions of video games, TV and such I'll try to focus on drawing, weight less and finding work to keep myself from what I once was.

      How's everything?

Yeah that's tricky business. I'm very meticulous about sun screen, and being underneath the sun all summer kind of concerns me, but for the past four summers I've worked at a pharmacy/candy store which is prime tourist destination. Needless to say I was getting sick of having to deal with customers all the time, and where I'll be life guarding is a lot more chill.

Pretty good! I just found out a lot of my marks are 95+, so I'm pretty stoked about graduating with honors.

I'm looking forward to graduating, and I'll be life guarding this summer. smiley0.gif

I might actually get a tan and stop being so white. Could happen.

Sick, hope it goes well. In 2008 my family moved from Canberra to Sydney for my parent's job. I had 3 job offers in Canberra, but I no one wanted to hire me here. I'm finally at uni so I can actually get a full time permanent job.

I've come to accept that all zombies are douche bags

This is the first time I have heard Zombies referred to as Douchebags, though I can not disagree. Just saying, good assessment. smiley13.gif
