so I just recently finished my school year and I'm stuck at summer school, so I'm searching for some interesting activities to pass my time. I've kinda burned myself out on the video games, tv shows and music that I own so if there's any crazy new ideas anybody wants to share I'd be very appreciative.

ok, so being in college this is around the time that everybody starts thinking their opinions are the shit and they start closing their minds off to new ideas. Being in Engineering myself I tend to be surrounded by these super analytical and extremely egotistically smart people. But their obsession with constantly bashing any kind of religion has slowly started to wear down my patience.
Almost everyday I hear someone around me curve a conversation around to some kind of overused, heavy-handed joke about how religion is a joke. I have one friend in particular that loves to constantly belittle the beliefs of everyone around him because he has nothing better to do all day than to spend his days reading everything on religion that he can possibly find.
But now to the point, when did Atheism turn into it's own religion. All of a sudden it feels as if if you don't believe in god it's your job to preach this so called "truth" to world. The zealotry is so hypocritical it goes beyond funny to just god damn infuriating. I'm in no way a deeply religious person, but I hate that I get looked down upon because these big-mouthed atheist bigots have somehow managed to present themselves as the smart, scientific ones. The fact is that there will NEVER be any proof to support either side, that's why it's called FAITH.
Finally, the real reason why these people piss me off so much is that they don't understand that their arguments aren't going to convince anyone. Yes there are people out there that believe what's in the Bible or the Qur'an is completely true and is physical proof of the existence of a God, but the vast majority of people with faith understand that religion is about just that, faith. You can't convince someone that God doesn't exist with stupid facts like saying Jesus wasn't born in December or pointing out other inaccuracies if that person has faith.
In conclusion, nobody knows anything so please, for the love of God, open up your mind

so I absolutely love the show. Zach Levi is one of the most genuine actors I've ever watched and I gotta love Adam Baldwin, and how can you not like Yvonne Strahovski? But what I love most about that show is the music. The music in that show takes moments that would be unbelievably cheesy and makes them feel real and epic and heart-wrenching. I realized this during my second run-through of the show in the season 2 finale, first during Jefster's rendition of Mr. Roboto and then more importantly during Elle's wedding while playing Slow Club's TV Christmas. That wedding scene was truly one of the most complete and amazing TV moments that I've ever witnessed and I've watched that episode about a million times now. Now during my 3rd run-through of the show, I've been paying attention especially to the music and building up a list of all the amazing songs. I just think that y'all should check out the show and pay extra attention to the music and how much a difference the right music can make in a TV show.

for a TV or a radio, because my padres are on today and I can't see them and watching little lines go back and forth on a screen isn't enough for me. Why don't I have a TV?!?!?!?!?!

So after watching The Adjustment Bureau, and actually feeling like I had been entertained, I have come to the realization that not only do I have the fortunate talent of being able to enjoy the horrible-ness of a movie but I'm pretty sure that it is impossible for me to not be entertained by a movie in the theater. It's crazy, something about my mindset makes me be able to watch 2-3 hours of bullshit and because it's in a movie theater somehow I find a way to kinda enjoy it.

So I just listened to the Inception Soundtrack and the Social Network Soundtrack back to back and honestly I can't figure out how anybody could choose one over the other. They are both so beautifully dark it's amazing and they fit with their respective movies so well. I listen to the builds in the Inception soundtrack and I literally feel like I'm about to burst and it's almost unbearable. It's so amazing how music can invoke such a strong emotion in a person. The Social Network is a little less outrageous but is delightfully dark and you can definitely hear the Trent Reznor influences. What I feel is so great about that one though is how amazingly well it fits in with the movie's portrayal of the events and with Eisenberg's performance. It gives the movie an extra feeling of drama that really creates the tone for the movie. Anyway, all I really wanted to say was that the soundtracks this year were outstanding and I don't envy the Academy that had to choose between them all.

I know it's been a while but maybe Chris Brown should shy away from punch related choreography a little while longer.

I'm going to get my ass handed to me on this quiz today. Here's to hoping the guy sitting next to me knows what he's doing. Haha, jk, I guess I'm just gonna have to hope for a merciful professor.

Is awesome. I really like it. I've been listening to it all day. It's just as silly as ever and walks the line between pleasing little kids that are fans of Yo Gabba Gabba and the older fan-base perfectly. The songs are equal parts silly and meaningful which is what has always made the Aquabats so amazing. The synth rather than the guitar carries most of the melodies this time around and some ska chords have made a very welcome comeback as well. The album is so darn cheerful too. Even the songs with legitimate meanings make it hard not to smile. All in all, this is an awesome album and has been well worth the 6 year wait.
