Three seasons of Bobs Burgers were watched whilst I was away and if that title doesn't entice you to, I don't know what would.

Anywho, this journal is in relation to gaming! I finally bought a 12 month subscription for Gold so that I can finally play multiplayer on the 360 with you guys! I've added a lot of you from the UK thread and I also decided to join the GGG group so hopefully I can hop in to some game nights ASAP, working mic or no working mic.

I don't have many games at the moment, though I did buy a shit ton over the past few days. So far I'm at; Bioshock Infinite, Minecraft, Fable 2, Peggle 1&2, Saints Row 4, Dark Souls(why god why), Mount your Friends because why not and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Let me know your GT's if you wish and I hope to be gaming with you guys soon :)
Chow for now, it's time for me to eat a box of Hello Panda biscuits and catch up on the 50+ RT/AH videos I've missed.

I've been back from Italy since Wednesday night and I've gotta say, I'm not adjusting back to life very well just yet. Not having the same routine or seeing the same people I've been with for the last three weeks is hitting me pretty hard. I know this will pass in another week or so but it really sucks.

I have absolutely loved the experience, more so for "life" than work which is what I went for! Knowing that I can manage on my own in a foreign country has helped me feel a little more confident and less scared for university, I feel so privileged and thankful that I was given this opportunity.

Tomorrow I'll make another journal on some gaming related news but for now I hope you enjoy some pictures of the prettiest place I've ever been to.

So I go to Italy tomorrow for three weeks and I happened to come across a little area near where I will be staying, named smeg. Naturally my first thought was "GAVIN!" and then realised that this would be the perfect way for me to title a journal and here we are.

I feel so lucky and excited to be able to gain experience within a workplace that I hope to be a part of in the future. I will only be working from around 9-3 however which means I have lots of free time to explore such a wonderful country, and I'll most likely keep you guys in the know by linking a blog I need to create if any of you are interested in some pictures and little snippets of my days.

Hope you guys have a lovely May and to those of you in my lovely county of Yorkshire, enjoy the rain as you like :-)

Last week I got to visit my favourite place for 4 days, can you guess where, eh.
For the last six years I've been getting a Ripley's Believe It or Not! book every Christmas and it makes me so excited to be able to say I've finally visited one of the museums! I have a weird fascination with shrunken heads and god damn they didn't disappoint.

Thursday, boy, that took away most of my money. I wish I had pictures to show you what I bought but discovering Tokyo Toys was the highlight of my trip. Studio Ghibli, Death Note, Japanese sweets and Pokemon was only just a small amount of the merch they had and I couldn't help but buy a Totoro backpack and an L tote bag. I bought a bag filled with Pocky and Hello Panda biscuits that I am super excited to eat but I'm also being a little sad and keeping the packaging.
      22kpah.jpg
We also went to Ed's Easy Diner that I was super stoked for, American style diners are my absolute fave but Leeds isn't really one to have them so this was a must. Fried chicken burger and kit kat sundae? Don't mind if I do.

We did so much more but I don't wanna bore you all with more deets, though I would highly reccommend visitng the London Dungeon and definitely don't pass up the opportunity to buy a Sweeney Todd mug with a razor blade shaped handle. How cool is that?!

Hope you guys had as good an Easter break as I did.

I feel content for the first time in a while.

I'm currently listening to a Studio Ghibli piano collection soundtrack and mulling over the future. It's lovely to be able to think positive thoughts and not be over-scrutinising every last thing and I believe that since adopting a positive mentality I'm so much happier. Granted I have my bad 1am mornings but with the music playing and the fairy lights on, I can't find much to be sad about right now.

I just want to document this moment so I know that on a really bad day, it's not the be all to end all and I can be happy. I also hope this for all of you guys, everyone deserves a positive existence and if anyone is ever feeling down just know that there will always be someone or something to push you back into a good place.

So I got a new title in Fable. Bet you can't guess what it is.
Apparently I eat too many pies.

I've not filled you guys in for a while on my ~educational life~ so buckle your belts kids and enjoy this thrilling ride.
Time has completely passed me by and I'm now in my last semester of college and can I say, holy shit. The fact that I'm creeping ever so close to university is freaking me out but I'm super stoked! Before that however there's the matter of a lil' work experience trip I feel very privileged to be going on as a way of helping me get the feel of the sort of working environment I hope to end up in, but the amazing fact is that I will be going to Italy for 3 weeks to do so! Italy has always been on my list of places to visit and being there for such a length of time whilst staying in a small, historical city fills me with wonder and joy, more so for the fact I haven't had to pay a single penny towards it!

I also applied for my uni accommodation yesterday. Manchester, I'm coming for ya.
