Looking back, my times on the computer have been an incredible waste of said time. It is with some relief and some sorrow that I'm going to permanently close my account.

I need to take off some time to actually get some work done. I've almost stopped reading and writing since I became so involved with web surfing and television watching. I want to get back to sewing and composing music like I use to before I became so involved.

Yes, I love technology and the Internet is a part of that, but becoming so involved has ruined my life. I'm going to become a priest. I want to spend my time reading and being of service to The Lord.

I'm going to hit the delete button on my account and confirm the deletion right before removing one of my time-consuming spam-filled emails. I deleted my MySpace and might as well delete my HACKITS.de account also.

This sight has been great. I've met friends and brothers in the Lord and met some ignorant nuisances. The long hours of debating and researching to debate have boiled down to pointless hours talking to walls.

I did meet a few friends who I still will keep in contact with in the future. If you want to talk with me contacted me over Skype (maxhaloisdeath) or email (maxhalo@gmail.com). I won't be online much and it might take me awhile to respond, but I'll be there for those who need me or just want to chat.

    • A Little Update

      maxhalo

New episode of the podcast will be up this week.

I just got back from NJW CAP Encampment 2008.

The dining in was amazing yesterday.

I was sent to the grog on a rank violation.

      It was awesome.

      I piloted a Cessna 172R on Thursday,

Other days were aerospace, air force protocol and history courses.

Marine obstacle course was pretty hard core, sprained my arm half way through though.

Air Force security forces were really cool.

Gen 5 night vision optics are pretty cool.

      Just like...yeah...

      Really tired...

      Going for a run...

      Then unpack...

Then write the script for my next episode...

      Yeah...

I'll keep you up to date...

I've been sick for a couple days.

Not the most conducive to work.

I'm going to Fort Dix next week for encampment with CAP.

      I'm reading The Watchmen.

Bought it a few weeks ago, just now got to it.

      It's pretty awesome.

Juno is a pretty good movie.

      Reality Bites is better.

      I fixed my computer.

      Bad RAM.

So now I'm down to 512.

      It's unbearably slow.

I'm use to ~15 aps at once.

I can no longer run 5 with any stability.

      Tech support is going slow.

      I'm fixing Shelby's computer.

That will be a 45 minute job.

      Going to pay around ~$45.

      Whatever.
Talked to Monsignor Vaughn, he's taking me to Seton Hall to see the semenary.
I need to call the Diocese of Militaria to talk about becoming a Chaplain.
I'll keep you updated as always.

      Episode 1

I'm using Putfile until I can find a better service to host my podcast.

It went well, but I felt like I was rushing and was jumping from subject-to-subject. Well, that was only episode 1 and I hope to have many more. Maybe I'll have a sexy gay party when I hit episode 25.

I'm going to try to be more clear and organized next time. I did this one in two takes and really will need notes in the future to keep me on track.

    • More to Munch On About Genetics

      maxhalo

I just found this out today actually. I'm going to divide it down into correlations so it's less clutterred when reading. Also, pardon for poor spelling I don't have FireFox on this computer.

My friend Nicole is a lesbian.

      Her sister is a lesbian.

Her cousin was born a hermaphrodite, gender identity female.

All were born with a genetic abnormality that allows for an overexpansion of a certain of the brain.

      This provides to unique effects.

They are all incredibly musically enclined. Nicole plays over 39 instruments at an expert level. Her sister plays around 20 and her cousin plays the same, if not more, than Nicole.

They have a hormonal embalance that makes them attracted to the same gender. Her cousin is not old enough, to my knowledge, to know for sure who she is attracted to. However she is expected to align to the female gender identity and become a lesbian.

The enlarged section of their brains is caused by a genetic trait.

I replied to all the comments in my previous journal to the best of my knowledge, ability and skill.

    • A Little to Munch On

      maxhalo

A Little to Munch on about LGBT Rights
In early 2008 a group of researchers England discovered that by introducing a certain gene-altering chemical into the diets of several flies they would be able to make the flies bisexual.

Seems to some like score one for the gay community. With further research, much of which is hidden from public eye, we may be able to find the ever-illusive "gay-gene." This would indisputably come tell us that we're born the way we are.

However, with groups like Focus on the Family and many other anti-gay organizations this information could be dangerous. Focus on the Family and many other groups work to "reverse" homosexual behaviors. Many times going to the lengths of torure (I'll eventually go into depth on the subject in a podcast).

I don't believe it would be far-fetched to think that in the future with the advancement of gene-altering and retrovirus techniques that a group like Foucs on the Family may try to "reverse" homosexuality chemically.

It wasn't until Lawrence v. Texas in 2003 that most state's sodomy and anti-gay laws were repealed.

Many people will go to the extreme of killing gays for who they are.

It wouldn't be so unreasonable to believe that in a not-so-distant future that we may see a forced termination of homosexuality. The ideal of the gay-disease may come back and it might be exterminated like polio of smallpox.

I wouldn't be suprised if it happens.

I would hate to see something dramatic come to pass/

      We will hope.

      I will pray.

      We will live on...

I'm definitely not content. I'm making like NO money. I don't know when I'm going back, though. Sometime, I'm sure. I'm thinking about being a sonogram technician, but I'd like to be SURE before I waste any more money. I really hate feeling this useless, but what else can I do when I don't want to go into debt?

    • cassylyn

I'm dropping out. I plan on going back eventually, but I really don't know if I will. I have no idea what I want to do with my life anyway, so why waste so much money to get an education I'll never use? Am I right?

    • cassylyn

We've been talking about getting a house, but I don't know, really. We don't have a lot of money... I'm working a part-time minimum-wage job, and he's got a decent paying full-time temporary job. So... come September, we won't haven an income.

My parents and I fight CONSTANTLY. It was just another stupid fight that got out of control. The usual. We're all sick of it though.

    • cassylyn

I was going to, but his parents don't agree. Stupid us not having enough money for our own house. We're going to get one... eventually... hopefully. I'm stuck with my parents now, even though I don't want to be here any more than they want me here...

    • cassylyn

i'm... usually ok... but my parents kicked me out... and i don't have a house secured yet... and... i'm not ready for this...

Why had both pastors left? How is your church governed now, by the elders of the church?

I'm not really for sure why our youth minister left. Our pastor left because of family health reasons.

      I guess the elders.

You can believe what you want.

    • partyjohn

However, coming into a right standing with God comes from the sacraments and personal commitment.

Would'nt that be a work righteousness?

However, over time we may fall away and lose our standing in righteousness. We come again to right standing by communion, penance and confession. These things fill us back up with the Holy Spirit and have our sins washed clean.

You already know that I believe the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints. I also believe that there are several Bible verses for this doctrine (John 10, 1 John 2:19, Romans 8:38-39, there may be more, I just can't think of them right now).
