Since I can't help but top my geekiest journal, here's a list of books I've read since the last week and a half of school (June 10th-ish):

      4. Justice: What is the Right Thing To Do?
      5. In Code: A Mathematical Journey
      6. Crisis Economics: A Crash Course in the Future of Finance
      7. Symmetry: A Journey Into the Patterns of Nature
      8. Wisdom: From Philosophy to Neuroscience
      9. Infinite Ascent: A Short History of Mathematics
      10. The Currents of Space: A Novel of Galactic Empire

      12. Digital Fortress
      13. The Code Book: The Evolution of Secrecy From Mary, Queen of Scots To Quantum Cryptography

Hey, why not? So what if the odds of me winning are highly unfavorable? The way I see it, the winner has the same odds as everyone else. Therefore, I am now putting up this journal in an effort to win a Halo: Reach Beta code. Good luck everyone!

I hear back from colleges on the same day the new season of Red vs Blue comes out. This has the potential to be either one of the best or most bittersweet days of my life, so make this season a great one roosterteeth, or else my April 1st may totally suck.

      No pressure though.

For some reason I have this 2-3 day delay when it comes to news/log/updates. For instance I didn't see the Dec. 1 blogs and comic until today, December 3. It's not just this site, either.

      Strange...

It's amazing how only around 3 months of AP classes makes you understand so much on the web:

      Exibit A

      Exibit B

      Exibit C

And that's just what I've encountered today.

I strongly recommend 'The Lost Symbol' whether or not you have read 'The Davinci Code' and 'Angels and Demons' or not. I literally just finished reading it and loved it.

I must have eaten a good 3 pounds of Sweet & Sour chicken and white rice. I now know what Gav was talking about when he said he could feel the food piling up in his esophagus from eating so much. I thought I was going to finish it all but with only 2 or 3 fork-fulls of rice left I felt like I would puke if I kept going.

    • Never reading a book again...

It's ironic: I told myself as I approached summer vacation that I would not put my work off until the last few weeks like I always did. and yet there I was; starting all of it about two or three weeks before school started. I decided to read 'The Kite Runner' in one day in order to give me some time to do the written part of my English work.

With the exception of lunch and dinner I spent literally all of Saturday reading 'The Kite Runner' for school. It added up to about ten straight hours of reading.

Don't get me wrong: It's a great book, but it's not a good idea to power through it like I did. I'm pretty sure I ruined my posture from being hunched over the book for so long.
