Ok so seeing as it is Black Friday and I am in the USA I thought I would partake in some Black Friday shopping.
But then I heard that Origin had Battlefield 4 for 50% off. So to Origin I went.
I knew it had issues, I had faced them before myself. But I thought it's Black Friday, if there is any day they get it right, it will be today.
First attempt to buy the game resulted in an error, confused I tried again, paying a different way. Again, the same error.
So to the help section I go, a swarm of users with the exact same issue.
After many futile attempts I'm thinking this is EA's way of saying "hey man, come on. You've spent a lot recently, maybe give our games a miss.... maybe buy it later when they are back to full price"
So thanks EA, saving money is really over-rated nowadays. And as a kid who just finished university I have tonnes of disposable income.
Also, hats off for fixing major issues before you overload your servers with users because of heavily discounted gaming.
