I applied for a job as a Store Manager with Goodwill. I love my job but decided if an opportunity larger than my current one came along, I would try it. I had a phone interview today I felt went well. I was then sent a survey to do via the internet. If all goes well with that (I will post my results after the rambling) then I will be on to a second interview, drug screen (or what I like to call, waste of money) and so on.

If anyone has a serious opinion...or not I guess.... about my results, I would love to hear it. I guess would you hire me? Thanks
      Ron

      RESULTS

      Summary

Ronald, your responses indicate that you are are careful, precise, thorough, and systematic. Your strong sense of duty and loyalty is supported by your conservative thoughts and actions. Criticism may cause you to react in a highly sensitive manner. You seldom make mistakes, unless you are misdirected. You use a persuasive communication style, and you prefer small groups and one-on-one relationships. In order to make sure that projects stay on schedule and are completed correctly, you may be inclined to itemize details in the process.

      Communication Style

Ronald, you prefer to tell people what to do in a straightforward fashion, rather than use persuasion. You are very effective in expressing yourself factually and sincerely. You are precise, frank, sensitive to tone, and can become discouraged if criticized unfairly.

Also, Ronald, you use a diplomatic tone in order to work peacefully with people. You do not intimidate others and, in turn, you do not appreciate verbal intimidation.

You express yourself in a factual, to-the-point manner. Your communication style is precise.

Ronald, you are intent on getting things done right, and you insist on maintaining the highest quality. You focus on the disciplined mastery of details and systems, and you use principles and tradition to help you maintain an orderly environment. You need to know all of the details all of the time, are cautious of changes in the system, and often take negative feedback personally.

You function well when supplied with rules, manuals, and systems. You prefer that details and proposals be presented in writing. If not pressured, you rarely make mistakes.

      Leadership Style

      Leadership Style: Traditionalist
You expertly perform your leadership role by managing your people through systems and procedures, and requiring them to follow your organization's rules. You exercise a conservative and watchful style while requiring that projects be completed correctly. You show respect for colleagues' positions and you expect the same in return. You may desire time alone to judge if performance standards and quality controls are being realized by your people. You may prefer to deal with your subordinates one-on-one. You like a lot of variety and to set a fast pace.

      Conscientiousness

You recognize the importance of self-discipline, careful planning, and thoroughness in completing tasks. Your above-average ability to completely fulfill specific goals and obligations is complemented by a usually positive sense of motivation.

      Motivational Needs

Ronald, you tend to be motivated by praise for tasks well done, and by having enough time to complete projects. You are more productive in a structured environment where there are few abrupt changes, and where there is basic job security with good benefits. You desire a professional culture where criticism is carefully administered, and where tradition is respected.

You can be demotivated if systems are not firmly established and routine procedures are not in place. You can become discouraged when criticized unconstructively or unfairly. You tend to be less productive when not supported by enforceable rules, clear directions, step-by-step plans, or written communications.

      Primary Motivators

      • A structured environment that has few sudden or abrupt changes.
      • The security of basic benefits.
      • A worked out system and quality products.
      • Praise for specific accomplishments.
      • Standard operating procedures and sound actions.
      • Fairness in dealings with individuals and groups.
      • Time to do things right.

      Primary Demotivators

      • You are constantly criticized.
      • The rules are changed without plenty of notice.
      • There is a lack of procedures, quality and fairness.
      • There is not a worked out system.

I just played through the Terminator game...in under 4 hrs. It has 11 achievements. 9 for levels and 2 for medium and hard dif finishing. Serioously? Bad game...glad I rented it. Here is hoping the movie will be better. This is after g4 had a special for the movie and game and how the director was all "this is better than any other movie to game iderations." Well then those game REALLY SUCKED! This must have been what Gears 1 looked like as a beta test. I went through the first 3 missions in under 40 mins. The hardest part was being a tank cuz your ammo overheated easily. If the robots are this dumb, how the hell did Skynet ever get off the ground? Anyway, I am going to the movie tomorrow. It cant be bad. Regardless, if you want easy achievements, rent the game for a day and get them all. If you have a friend to do it with, they can help you do it.

      Have a good day.

Wii Fit called me fat....my 360 never betrayed me like that. Stupid Nintendo should be ashamed.

In other news my trim is done but need to finish my doors. Then carpet and I am set. In other other news...my new boss ( I am again an hr from home for those not up to date) is a tool/bitch. One of the other assistants will be off for training for 3 weeks so she redid the schedule. What that REALLY meant was Ron's schedule. She set me up to close 6 days of the next 8. One I am off and thats tomorrow. I did trade my last day (next Sun) from close to open. One less anyway. Damn bitch.

Ok gonna relax and what a bad movie. Dragonball.

Well crook strictly means sick. Including self-induced like hangovers.
So if you're staying off work because you're horny tired, then I guess you'd call your boss and tell him you've got a case of the blue balls.

I dunno, I've never done it.

Honestly, I couldn't see out of the mask, unless it was dark. Any light would brighten up the white I was looking through, making it harder to see. If it was dark, I could see perfectly well.

Yeah, I'm not surprised at Hollywood's total lack of originality, but from all accounts, they just made the movie worse, by copying the sequence of events in the same way, but changing the cause of the events, for no apparent reason. Not only that, but many don't know that it's a remake, and even if they do, will likely not see the original with this new one available.

Plus, the other one had been out for less than a year, and Hollywood is taking it and crapping on it.

    • Brakus
