Alexis sent me a text while I was at work that said "I love you dad!" I almost had to quit work to see if she was ok! LOL! My kid. Saying that she loves me. Especially with me being the disciplinarian!

On another note, this movie rocks! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr5lHZQz-Z4

    • Earthquake!

      mymy

We had an earthquake here today, shook every thing around, dishes, picture frames, glass cabinets, ect.

Instead of taking cover like smart people, Belle had her priorities straight and went straight to the HD TV to make sure it didn't fall and I kept washing dishes because the sink was a mess. If we are gonna die, we're gonna do it in a clean house by God! smiley0.gif

It also reminded me of one night at Camp Pendleton in the Marine Corps when a friend of mine happened to be on guard duty when a huge earthquake hit. He told me that when his desk started shaking he thought that God was after him for being a bad boy! LOL! smiley0.gif

Had 45 minutes of non stop endurance exercises in class and my body hurts all over. The ironic thing is I'm going back for more tomorrow! Man, it's weird bring a white belt again! But training under a Japanese national is so worth it, even though he's fanatical about keeping in shape. This is the third person I've trained under that got their education in Asia. I'm not the best martial artist(in fact I suck) but I train UNDER the best.

On another note, last night on HBO I saw this Clint Eastwood movie called Gran Torino. I cannot stress enough how much I love this movie, I watched it again right after it was done, I liked it that much.

    • WTF??????????????????????

      mymy

Being the the foreman at my work, I get to hear a lot of the dialogue between my maintenance supervisor Dave and the pencil pushers in the office. One of them is a blond named Karen. This is a true story btw. Happened yesterday.

Dave: "Karen, tonight we are setting the clocks for daylight savings time for Monday morning. You need to set your clock 2 hours ahead, wait 3 hours and after that set your clock back one hour. "

Karen: "Why would I want to do that?"

Dave, after thinking for a second: "It's because of the Space Time Continuim"

Karen, with a look of surprise on her face: "We have one of those?"

My natural hair color is more of a sandy blonde. It grows out dark at the roots and the ends turn blonde.
Weird, I know. That is why I just color all of it so it looks even.
      Why do you ask?

The thing I found interesting in Texas were the anomalies. Abilene was dry yet right in the middle of the city was a 10 square block area called Impact where bars and drinking existed. LaGrange had the infamous Chicken Ranch that locals fought for years to keep open. In Big Spring, you couldn't drink alcoholic beverages yet being a member of a club or staying in a motel that had a club, allowed you to purchase beer with your dinner. The bottle clubs were unusual also. At Marshall, you brought a bottle to the restaurant and they kept it in a rack in the dining room. You left the bottle there and any time you had dinner, they would pour you a drink from your own bottle. They usually charged some minor amount like 50 cents and called it a corkage fee. Finally at Longview, the town was overwhelmingly Baptist yet right across the city line was a former Holiday Inn (came back as the Continental Inn) that showed XXX movies in the rooms. The place was sold out every weekend. Texarkana was the ultimate. On Sunday, the Arkansas side of the street was locked up tight while the Texas side was open and busy. Remember how you could only buy 3.2 beer in most towns? I haven't been back in years but wonder how much of that still remains.

I really wished I had joined the school when I first saw that sign. How many hours have been wasted while closing at work and having to wait for 3 hour movies like 2012 and Avatar to end would have been time well spent when practicing what I had learned from each class.

I hope this is what I have been needing to change my life.

It has NOT been 80 degrees in FL this winter! We've had the coldest winter by far (many records have been broken) in the 24 years I've lived in FL now. I'm looking forward to a least a little 'spring' before the hot humid weather of summer settles in..... round about May.

The mage quests were my favorite ones, but that's mostly because I played them like a thief (I was doing those quests at the same time) and was stealing EVERYTHING at the time.

I would rob the guilds blind. One time I stole a null item because I wanted to know what it was... luckily I saved beforehand because it killed the game when I checked to see what the item was.

Because when you register for an account on RvB you have an email all your alerts can go to and I've had several different accounts on this site and the MOD Becca had tampered with my primary email by banning it with a sitation in the past, that was totally a BIGGGG misunderstanding. But luckily I got it fixed and I'm back on the site now to bother you all. :)

Hola mi amigo! I'm going to take it you're still a FF7 fan? I ask, because if you want, you can download a version of the Mako Reactor song from my brother's page. We took the original song from the soundtrack, and added in a hip hop beat to give it some real UMPH! Check it out if you want.
