I check this site like once or twice a year out of morbid curiosity and, more often than not, boredom. Tonight it's those as well as procrastination on some math homework and anatomy studying.

Does anyone actually look at this shit? Let's see a show of hands... Are any of you people on my friends list even active on the site anymore?

On another note, every time I look through my history of messages or journals or whatever, my skin crawls at the notion of how immature and stupid I was, and how incredibly socially inept I was.
      bFYuXIL.png

So. Guess I'm going to disappear into the real world for another 6 or 7 months at least...

It's been forever since I last did anything with this site. I figured I would post a journal (although I'm not sure that anyone reads my journals anymore).

I'm just pulling an all-nighter to write an english paper, and am procrastinating.

If anyone is still alive on this site and wants to talk to me, you're more than welcome to.

Until next time (whenever it may be),

      So...What's up?

I realize I haven't made a journal in a while, but I really don't see a reason to. No one reads these. I felt compelled to write one though, waiting until I had enough to say.

Anyway. I graduated. Yeah, I made it out of Highschool. Just barely, though. Think "Millennium Falcon flying out of the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi." That much of a "barely". Graduation was interesting, it was like "Battle of the Families", with entire sections of the stands screaming for various students. Each time, it got louder and louder as if it was some sort of competition. There were some other amusing things shouted.

As of today, I've been to 9 graduation parties, and I have another 7 to go to. There was another, but the guy told me the wrong date, and I went to the wrong party. lol.

My dad and I just ordered a new graphics card for me (FINALLY!) It's an XFX Radeon HD 4850. W00t. With any luck, it will solve all of my graphics problems.

E3 this year was...awesome. Words cannot describe the awesome. (Yeah, I actually managed to catch E3 in time to watch most of it.) Here's some of the things I'm looking forward to:

      God of War III
      Uncharted 2
      Assassin's Creed 2
      Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (PSP)
      LittleBigPlanet PSP
      Halo 3: ODST
      Halo: Reach
      Left 4 Dead 2
      Modnation Racers
      That motion thing for PS3
      Those sensors for XB360
      PSP Go! (maybe)

You may have noticed that several of those items are for PS3. Yes folks, E3 2009 has prompted me to dethrone the "Xbox 360 Wish" for the "Playstation 3 Wish". Now, I'll be getting a PS3 as soon as I'm 18 and have enough money. Unfortunately, this means no Halo: Reach or ODST.

Next, I am now an active soldier in the Imperial Ground Forces. Great place, JOIN IT NAO.
      www.darkjedi.org/club/IGF/

My graduation party will be this weekend, on Saturday. Joe and I are trying to work out something so he can stay for 2 nights afterward. We plan to finally play Halo 3 together (I've beaten the campaign 3 times, Joe hasn't beaten it yet. CO-OP!)

That's all for now. Someone talk to me! Get on Facebook or something.

      Life is hitting hard.

School is...beyond "troublesome". My computer gets a new problem each week. My phone just stopped working. Not to mention the bunch of problems from the past few weeks that have already been fixed.

I'm keeping up, though. Just got X-Men 3 the other day.

Over the weekend was Prom. I didn't go because I didn't have anyone to go with, but I did go to the "after-prom", which was at the local YMCA. Six hours of swimming, food, a DJ, and movies. I doubt even 30 people were there total. The pool stuff was awesome, and the DJ was cool enough. But about 4:30 in the morning the DJ left, and everyone started to go to sleep. That's when it got boring.

My school's Senior Skip Day was yesterday. The seniors have a picnic each year, and the principal and dean of students grill hotdogs and hamburgers. About the time of "5A-lunch" or 5th period A, I went to Wal-Mart with my friend Whitey (a diabetic, Corey, who's really pale) and bought some water guns. We planned to go and harass the under-classmen as all seniors do (usually with piss-filled water balloons or water guns). We only used water, but it was a lot of fun.

Getting my graduation party planned (whether I graduate or not, we're having it) lately.

Talk to me guys. Over and out.

Ok, so I was incredibly lenient with the journal, I'm maybe a week late? That was partly because of a load of schoolwork, and partly because I forgot. Well, no more. Anyone who didn't comment on my journal shall be deleted.

This leaves much to think about.

Alright, so I know I haven't been on for almost 4 months or more. But it seems to me that the internet is slowing down. Activity on my forum dropped to a dead halt, and almost seems to be moving backwards (negative amount of activity??), and I never get comments or messages here on RvB anymore.

So, in an attempt to get some activity going, I'm going to delete all friends who do not send me a message, or do not comment. Then, I'll begin refilling my friends list with new peoples. (There WILL be exceptions, such as people I talk to regularly on other sites or via phone.)

This is also a test to see just how many people watch me.

People who do not comment within exactly one week will be deleted. Next thursday, between 10:40 AM and 11:20 AM (Eastern time) the deletions will occur.

Exceptions (people I talk to regularly, maybe on other sites) include:
      Nevada_TEX
      Llamaleader
      joker477
      spargmeister
      ThWhiteRaven
      Allanon_one
      adepinet09
      OmegaBlue
      3utterfly
      doomdiger
      ZZoMBiE13
      halo_fangirl
      itz_Kayti

In other news, I plan to download the Mac package of Nexuiz, and I'm going to try it on the flatscreens (like the one I'm using now) that are in the school library. We'll find out just how good these things are with graphics and processing speed. This one just ran a flash game wonderfully, when my gaming computer at home struggles with the same game. (Extra processing, or what??)

      That's all for now.

    • Happy Easter!!

      nerfherder23

      Happy Easter everyone!

I had a kickass holiday. Anyone else?

I had Joe (ThWhiteRaven) over from Friday until Saturday. On Friday night I had to work (lifeguarding), so we talked, Joe played Crisis Core on the PSP, and we ate chips. :D During the last hour and a half we talked with friend and regular swimmer Barry Porter (Married with 2 kids). We talked about...the meaning of life, in a serious kind of way. That's the simplest way to explain it. There was a wide variety of topics, from school to ADHD to the way society is and how people are accepted or rejected in it. We all felt better after having that conversation. Later that night Joe and I played about 6 levels of Serious Sam Co-Op.

On Saturday, we played some Spore and then went to my grandparents' Easter get-together. We hung out, did the usual egg-hunt and treasure-hunt (I have 3 younger cousins, so those activities are mostly for the kids). Then we played a bit of the Wii with my uncle Jim. He sucked, but it was fun for us all. Later that afternoon we watched Silent Running, then watched a recorded episode of GameTrailers TV (BIOSHOCK 2 FOR THE WIN!!!!) Joe played Spore while I played the PSP after that.

Today, we played yet more Spore, then went to my Uncle's house for my other grandma's get-together. His house is up by Lake Erie, that was nice. It's a brand-new house. So we played some Resistance 2 on his Playstation 3, then we played some Resistance (1) Co-Op. Then the adults kicked us off to watch TV, so we went up to the spare bedroom and played the Wii. It turns out, I'm now better than Joe at Super Smash Bros Brawl, and he owns it while I don't. We played against each other for a match, then the others came up. Kristina (my 11-year-old gaming cousin) and Kaleb (this little infidel shithead who thought he was a bigger nerd than me) played some brawls with us. Kaleb kept telling me where to go, what to do, how to use the weapons, and what the controls were while Joe and I were played R2. I. Wanted. To slap him. I swares.
We decided to play a tournament right before we left though. Kaleb vs Me ended up with me on top. Joe vs Kristina came out with Joe on top, though he took it easy on Tina (she had only played twice, and this time was her first time lasting for more than half an hour). Joe and I fought, and by a margin, I won. Joe had admitted to me being better than him earlier, of course. :D

He did get farther than me in the Galactic Stage of Spore, but my Civilization could gut his any day. n_n

Also, it's been unofficially planned that Joe and I are going to Digital Overload 2010 in March and RvB:TO in July of next year. I've already begun saving up money, and though Joe doesn't have a viable source of income, he's promised to start saving up too. I've invited Brendan (joker477) to go to Digital Overload with us, but he isn't sure if he can come.

In other news, my forum TGF (The Gamer's Forum) is all but dead. I don't know what, but something is keeping me from proclaiming it as dead and having Freeforums delete it.

I got Doom 3 to work in Linux (using the Windows CD) a while ago...it was cool.

I think I'm planning to buy a Playstation 3 now. What with Bioshock 2, God of War III, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, and Uncharted 2 (to name a FEW) coming out or already out, I think the PS3 outweighs the XB360 in my eyes now. Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 just aren't enough to buy that system and miss out on the last 4 in my list above. Especially GoW3 and LBP. I am EXCITED for those. And Bioshock 2, though I can always buy that for PC.

I plan to repurchase a sponsorship here, soon. But I don't know...

That's all for now. I've exhausted my immediate "new things to say" list.

"Mr. B, Big Sister doesn't want you playing with me...."

Ideally sci fi has good night and day skies. Sadly it seems that all too often they just throw in an extra moon or two and thats it. No gas giants, galaxies, rings or even a nebula. The sky just gets neglected in most science fiction.
Thankfully Halo had some nice stuff. Elder Scrolls Oblivion has sky mods that put nebulae and galaxies in the sky.

I took a college level English in high school along with prep classes before it. If any thing those classes should be your main priority when deciding what work to do next. And of course you don't get reminders! It's a college level class, you are treated like college students there, therefore you should have a syllabus or an assignment sheet you follow from right?
