I realize I have not talked about this for a long time and it is because I thought my club was doing a giant memoriam to Monty Oum so I wanted to wait until the sort of funeral they were throwing and then get a picture of everyone to show how loved and remembered Monty Oum is in New Jersey

it seems I raised my respects way too high of New Jersey since apart from me only four other people showed up dressed in their regular clothes as if just coming from class and buying a ton of soda to treat it like a party.

well New Jersey may have no respect for anything nor anyone but i on the other hand do.

I never knew Monty Oum personally but i first found out about him through Haloid and that expanded to his work joining rvb and breathing more life into the show than i had seen in a very long time. From what i could tell, Monty Oum seemed like a very nice sweet guy and one of the greatest men in the world.
I do not know how you/ how Sheena Duquette Oum feels right now. All iI have ever lost was my beloved pet and two grandfathers but never a spouse or dear close friend. I can not judge nor even begin to imagine how you/ she feels right now but for what it is worth iI am truly sorryy. I deeply wanted to show everyone in America's support but it seems iI will be the only one (at least in NJ)

I again realize and apologize that i am late to this news and while iI may not have much to say on this, iI will honor Monty's memory and what he stood for. He was the best animator I had ever seen and almost like a hero that helped inspire me to try and join the field of animation and I will always remember him and everything he stood for.

    • Trading Necron Models

      noob55

Any Warhammer fans on here? In particular any Necron fans?
I am looking to trade 4 Triarch Praetorians, 3 Tomb Blades, and 1 Canopytek Spyder
i have realized i only need 1 spyder at max, i'll never use the tomb blades and ill never use the Triarch Praetorians

i am looking to get 20 more Necron warriors and 10 more Necron immortals

Thats a 40 dollar spider, 50 for the tomb blades, and maybe 30 for the Praetorians
all of this is constructed and i know one less Praetorian so that would be maybe 120 at max

versues 80 dollars for Immortals and around 80 for the warriors (although u can get 20 warriors a lot cheaper and for 60 dollars on other sites)

so if anyone is interested please hit me up.

I DO NOT MIND PAYING FOR SHIPPING

So if u do want to trade but are in another country thats fine with me, i would just love to trade off a bunch of models ill never use in return for models i could really badly need and use

    • Star Wars the Galactic Empire

So i wanted to post a humerous journal since i haven't posted any journals in a very long time and i've been in a Star Wars mood for a while lately.
For those not familiar with it, the Empire issue has gone on for many years now where people have debated back and forth how ethical or evil was the Galactic Empire?

Were they good for maintaining peace or were they evil for constantly supporting slavery and massacring Jedi like animals
How about preventing any giant galactic wars but at the same they still killed Jedi on sight and had a higher slavery rate than any other time period in Star Wars

and then Star Wars Rebels came along and completely shitted all over the Empire making them look like a bunch of clowns that literally cant even beat children (just ignore Star Wars Episode 3, no one speaks about it including apparently not Dave Filoni)
i at first didn't pay this much mind like come on the Empire was a major threat easily debated about if they were right or just fully evil, and then Disney allowed this:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7bmXywWus8

and all i could think of was:

Why are we taking these guys seriously anymore?

I know late old news since Kinects been out for a while, just wanted to brighten the mood since things have been hell lately for everyone so hope this helps =)

Lucky me? You get it early. You can just buy the game and not play it for a few days, then you'll have the same opportunity I'm getting.

I'll be going dark on ME3 shortly before launch date. That means I'll be un-watching all ME related threads and groups and will post a journal informing all my RT and Deviantart watchers that if they so much as try to talk about something spoiler related pertaining to ME3 before I have confirmed that I've beaten the game, they WILL be blocked until I've beaten the game. THEN I will unblock them.

I'm glad you liked the replies. If you have any opinions on them you'd like to share, I'm all ears. However I must be getting my sleep, so I bid you good night.

Well it seems like a worthy find. Hope you enjoy your new picture.

I'm actually okay with Me3 coming out on March 9th here. I mean it's a Friday. I don't have any lectures until noon, so if I go pick up the game before lectures start, I can just take it with me during college, then play as soon as I get home and have all of Friday, plus the weekend to play, hopefully. Assignments and projects could get in the way, don't know just yet.

Speaking of which, hey look, casual outfits for ME3:

I doubt we'll ever really know the Reapers' plans and motivations. Sovereign himself said the Reapers are infinitely complex, and too far beyond our primitive understanding. BUT the Reapers aren't doing this at random. They don't just want to destroy organic life. They seek to control it and shape it for their own purposes.

"Your civilization is based on the technology of the mass relays, our technology. By using it, your society develops along the paths we desire. We impose order on the chaos of organic evolution."

The reapers have some sort of plan we don't yet know about. But we know they reproduce by harvesting whole races to create new Reapers. My guess is Harbinger acts through the collectors because he was the Reaper created from Prothean Biomass. But that's just my guess.

Oh, completely, I like all of Liara's looks =) the red and black one with the Justicar headpeices is totally my favourite though.

I know, if you get too bulky and massive, you just look like a friggin' Space Marine. To quote Doctor Who:

"You know how sometimes I have really really good ideas?"
      "Yeah?!"
      "Sorry."
      *Jumps out.*
      "LOOK-AT-ME-I'M-A-TARGET!"

I actually feel kind of dumb about this now... I mean I went and assumed the entire Collector Race could be within one base? That there weren't any more out there? Man, that was kinda thick of me... usually I'm good at thinking outside the box and assuming the unpredictable things like this, but.. goddamit Bioware, stop being... smart.... >< I just assumed the Protheans have been completely harvested into one Reaper... but... maybe since the Protheans had an empire far larger than all the Citadel and non-council races combined... there must have been some leftovers. Enough to make numerous armies of collectors perhaps. Dammit, I didn't think they could outsmart me like this!!

    • Lorcan0c

That is a good point. But remember, the Reapers don't destroy entire planets. They harvest the populations, but left the planets intact. Bacteria is where life begins, it grows and adapts, going from single celled organisms to more complex beings, until eventually they take shape and become a more sophisticated form of life. This keeps going on and on until eventually you get the more advanced races, such as humans, Asari, Turian, Quarian, etc.

In the Halo Verse, the ARK existed as a backup plan. Once the halos fired, large amounts of each existing primitive species were teleported to forerunner worlds once the flood threat was contained. Hence why it is called "The Ark" as in noah's ark. a plan to save enough specimens of each species so that they could thrive and recover. However we won't know the details until ME3, so maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. None can say just yet.

Actually Tara Strong (Twilight Sparkle's voice actress) seems to have changed her tone. She started posting tweets with images attactched of Twilight Sparkle in provocative human clothing and suggestive poses o.O Example, one of Twilight wearing a saddle and showing her umm.... flank.... and Tara Strong adding the text "SMOKIN'!!" to the picture. =0

Okay... click at your own risk....

Here is our new squadmate fighting against some old enemies. Wow. I never would have guessed these guys would be back O.O I mean... omg. Whoah.

But yeah, kinda stupid human armour.... as for Liara...... smiley12.gif heeheee ^^

Okay, as for Ghost Rider... it's a good movie, just not a great movie. If you like action, violence, amazing special effects and demonic stuff, then yes, this is awesome. If you like a story that makes sense or good acting... then don't. But however, at one point when they meet a bunch of monks, their leader is.... Conner Macleod from Highlander?!?! Holy shit. My jaw dropped at that scene. I was like "WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK?!"

    • Lorcan0c

      It's quite alright, I understand.

I'm glad you learned a lot then. Maybe you should write a letter to Princess Celestia, telling her what you learned. Or better yet, maybe Luna instead ><

Although Ironic, I have some ME3 related news that you may find interesting. I won't tell you what it is, but I have a screenshot of the new squadmate fighting against.... something. An old enemy which I really didn't expect to see in ME3. I won't link it unless you want me to.

Also some non-spoiler screenshots showing off some of the From Ashes DLC. None of these are spoilers, so take a look:

The Bonus Weapon included in From Ashes
Shepard & Liara in her From Ashes outfit fighting Cerberus.
Liara and Vega in alternate outfits fighting Husks
Shepard, along with Kaiden and Vega in alternate outfits, speaking to Shadow Broker Liara (pfffft.... phhaahahhahaha, Kaiden and Vega look soooo stuuuupid.... XD They look like friggin' Iron Man rejects!)

As I said, there is ONE more screenshot, but I promise I won't link it or tell you what it is, unless you want me to, because it has a possible spoiler about a certain foe returning.

Very much so >< urgh.... Just don't go see Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance. The actor who played the Gaurdian of the Bridge in Thor is in it, and plays such a french stereotpye character... he even uses a bottle of Wine to distract these evil monks at one point, by tossing it into the air towards them, then pulling out an SMG and wasting them. When the wine bottle smashes on the ground, he just sighs and says "What ay wehste of good wahn" (What a waste of good wine.)

    • Lorcan0c

Okay, I'm not perfect either, but there was a difference between these spoilers. Mine comes from the ME3 art book included in the N7 edition of the game. I figured it was okay to say that about Jack because it says that about her on her page in the art book. I know you're getting the N7 edition and will probably glance over the artbook before playing the game, so you'd probably find out anyway. Plus I think I told you that already anyway.

But regardless, I do apologise. I just don't knowing who lives and dies or crucial plot information. I mean the way everyone goes around asking "WHY IS CERBERUS EVIL NOW?!" (And come on, with the demo, there is no need to put this in spoiler tags) I just shrug and say "I'll wait and see" because I want to find out through the story.

Let's just try and forget this unpleasantness.

Oh for Keelah's sake... there's actually a french cooking show on... with a french chef with an atrociously stereotype accent... named Pierre. ¬_¬ What....

    • Lorcan0c

Yeah, but if you put a spoiler text section next to ANOTHER SPOILER TEXT without saying at the start "This has to do with Modern Warfare 3", I'm gonna highlight that text assuming that it has to do with the thing we were freaking talking about!

That's like saying "It's your own fault for getting blown up by the active proximity mine I left right next to the deactivated mine that I told you to go pick up". or "Oh, woops, sorry you drank the poison water I left right next to the glass of non-poisoned water and didn't tell you about. MY BAD!" A tiny bit of warning like "This has to do with MW3 not ME3" would have helped.

No. I DIDN'T buy it, because I'm not made of money. I have to save up money for this shit.

    • Lorcan0c

Honestly I'd rather just go to sleep and approach your comment tommorow with a level head when I am calm and can think straight....

Because I haven't fucking played Modern Warfare 3 and didn't know that Mactavish dies.... thanks a fucking bunch for ruining the whole story and my only reason to care about the game. Much appreciated.

So yeah, I'm kinda mad. Sleeping now. Bye.

    • Lorcan0c

      Good idea.

Well I generally take a rifle or SMG by default, I need something rapid fire to lay down suppresssion. Though on the PC, the Mattock has been serving me well as it fires just as fast as you can click the mouse, which lets you dish out punishing amounts of headshots against Guardians through the sheild, whereas the old Xbox 360 controllers are a bit less sensitive when it comes to reactions to rapid taps. No, I DON'T mean the friggin' SAS. The SAS are bloody marine commandos for fighting terrorist threats. They are millitary operatives. A tactical response unit is like a SWAT team. Just cops, but very well trained and with better firepower and equipment. Sending SAS to deal with SWAT stuff is like sending a Spectre to some random hostage situation on the Citadel. It's just a waste of resources. Special forces handle millitary problems, I.E, threats from or against other nations and sovereignties. SWAT teams and Tactical Response Units handle the internal stuff like hostage situations, bank hold-ups, riots, etc.

And again, don't want to come off as naggy, but it's "VEGA", no "R". I just want to break you out of this bad habit before it sticks, because no offense or anything, but it's been 2 years since ME2 came out and ya still can't spell Harbinger's name correctly because you got stuck in a habit of mis-spelling it.

Wait, who is this Jack imitation character? PS, can you believe the role Jack has in ME3? She's a teacher at the Grissom Academy?! I mean I know the states are shite at doing background checks on teachers, but come on. You're gonna let the ex-cultist, ex-terrorist, ex-mercenary super biotic tortured psychopathic tattooed woman covered wearing next-to-nothing and carrying a fucking Widow rifle come in and teach children?! Dear god. If Kaiden had someone like HER teaching him Biotics, then MAYBE, MAAAAYYYBE I would take his bitching even the slightest bit seriously.

Yes, Vega is more of a lookalike for Modern Warfare 2's Captain "Soap" Mactavish. The difference? Mactavish was scottish and awesome. Vega is not. and not.

I didn't say I didn't like Thane's romance, I just personally have a few issues with it that would ruin it for me. I mean.... Thane knows he's gonna die... and the drell have a religious belief about afterlife and a life after death and all... and his first thought is to hook up with a woman he barely knows when he's going to die and be reuinited with his dead wife anyway?! Excuse my poor grammer but, DA FUQ?! Who does that? You COULD remain faithful to your partner, but nope, instead decide to fall in love with someone else right before your death? Sorry Thane, I am not seeing the logic here. Maybe I'd have to play it myself to understand, but until I see it for myself, I don't get it. That's my two cents on the matter.

    • Lorcan0c

Again, as I recommended earlier, just type it on the notepad.... it's much more convenient.

Eh, I just had trouble getting to grips with the infiltrator. I prefer my insanely upgraded Vangaurd with Mattock and Katana Shotgun. But I did just make a soldier character because I unlocked all the cool colour patterns and stuff for it, so we'll see how that goes.

Yes, the majority of british police officers don't carry firearms to the best of my knowlege. However they have various tactical response units simmilar to SWAT teams for dealing with armed violence. The Gardaí don't have anything like that as far as I know. No, we have Netflix, I just lack a credit card, so I can't pay the fees for it.

No, Jacob's mission wasn't repetitive. His Dialogue was. Every time you talk to him, he's like "The alliance sucks, let's be bro's and Miranda is my ex." That's basically all he has to say. At least he's a good soldier. He's informal when you tell him to be, but he's the only soldier besides Vega so far who actually greets a superior officer with a salute! And even when Vega does it, he's not supposed to do it...

Yes, I've seen Kaiden's romance, I know what it's like. It falls flat on its face by Bioware writing standards. Jacob's relationship was just... what the hell, that's all. It wasn't exactly a 'Romance' just flirting. There was no emotional connection or bonding, just bad pickup lines.

    • Lorcan0c

Yeah, it was actually pretty fun. I was playing on the PC version, downloaded it because one of my friends doesn't have access to a 360 but wanted to co-op. It was just us, so we never made it to the end. >< Plus at one point I decided to switch from my level 12 vangaurd to my level 1 infiltrator, and kept dying since I had like no powers D= and they kept having to revive me, and bleh. I switched back to Vangaurd eventually. We managed to kill a lot of Phantoms.

Uhhh.... yeah, those episodes haven't aired in Ireland yet. I have no idea what you're on about. And uhhh... some of the british police do have guns. The Irish Gardaí (Gaurds. police) are the ones who are unarmed.

Actually I agree there. Jacob's loyalty mission was very grim, probably among the darker parts of the ME series. But then it IS the second part of a trilogy. The rule of trilogies is, the middle one has to be the darkest and most emotionally grim during the story, it's pretty much been that way since Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. And it's "Vega", not verga.

It's alright, just don't take such minor things so seriously. Being right or having everyone agree with you on an issue isn't the most important thing in the world. Even if someone thinks differently to you, you can broaden your perspective by hearing what they have to say and learn from what they think.

Of course having things in common is important, however not as important as you seem to think it is =/

    • Lorcan0c

Dude, that's sort of the point of ME. Everyone has a unique experience that can never be duplicated. It's okay to disagree, but we must be tolerant of each others opinions.

    • Lorcan0c

Me? I never said I liked Jessica Chobot's character, Diana Allers. All I was saying is that:

      1. The report from Diana Allers about the Quarian Migrant Fleet's weapon upgrades is interesting and surprisingly thought provoking. Which in my opinion, it is.

      2. None of us have seen enough of this character yet to fully judge her. Will she be a pointless fanservice character? Maybe. MAYBE. However, we don't know that yet. That's why I was saying that I sincerely hope her character will contribute something to the game and be helpful, and not just a pointless background character like Kelly Chambers who does very little besides being eye candy for the player.

I never said I like the alliance. I just don't rant about them like you do.

The world isn't black and white. It's shades of grey. I'm not on Cerberus' side, definitely not. I can't tolerate xenophobic extremists. The only difference between Cerberus and the Batarians is Cerberus have better funding....

I never said I tolerate the Alliance. However I consider them the lesser of two evils when compared against the likes of Cerberus....

Frankly I have the right to post on news without being monitered like this. What I say on the internet about a video game is really none of your business. So if you disagree with what I'm posting on the ME3 group, that's fine. But if you directly confront me about it when you know our opinions clash, you're just stirring up trouble for no reason.

Had you not made accusations about the rest of the group, the comment would have stayed on my account page. However, you chose to level baseless accusations at everyone else.

It is easy to say you are simply venting in hindsight, but when first impressions of you or your comments show no indications that you are doing so, you have to realise that when this happens, what you say comes across as confrontational and sometimes offensive. Simply declaring that you starting a rant or that the ranting is now over is usually enough take the offensive/serious edge off a lot comments.

Also, though I wasn't looking for apologies for the other incidences, I appreciate the gesture.

    • Lorcan0c

I am sorry to hear that. I would advise that you type your comments on notepad and then copy+paste them in future. That's how I do it. At least with any conversations that would take more than 2 minutes to type. I sincerely apologise for the delay. I had a few things to get to, and then that journal of mine, if you'd care to take a glance.

Yeah. Wanderers annoy me. Sit down and shut up, that's what I say. I mean I'm the one that's ADD but I can friggin' sit still for more than 30 seconds! Same thing happened to me today. My mother comes in all excited saying "There's a Fox in the garden!" so I go into the next room where the big windows are and she's like "Oh, it must have wandered off..." ¬_¬

Exactly. The love sub-plot is already rather... shall we say, minimal? in most games. In ME, you on average get about 2 or 3 conversations with a character that are unique to the relationship. But that's all really. The dialogue would take like 20 to 30 minutes to play out, so like an hour ish to record if you were a decent actor who doesn't need to repeat their lines or doesn't slip up often.

There's a phrase here I think works. Clothes (or rather lack thereof) don't make the man (or woman). At least give Bioware this, they're intellegent about who wears what.

Jack wears so little because it's part of who she is. Casual meaningless sex and generally being a rebel are the core principles of her character, so as a result, she wears very little.

Miranda is rather proud of her genetically augmented body, even though she harbours a secret shame of it, fearing people look at her as only a pair of boobs and an ass and not a real person, which she admits to after her loyalty mission, and when you reassure her, the romance begins, as Shepard is the first person to take her seriously. Unlike someone like Engineer Kenneth Donnelly. I may have bashed the Shepard and Miranda romance in the past (because let's face it, the love scene is DUMB), but the character development and the way the scenes play out is pretty damm good.

I don't know enough about some of the other characters who dress provacatively, like say, Isabella, but based on what I know of her, she's a pirate, she is carefree, reckless and confident, hence her 'revealling' attire.

The movies our parents watched were bloody obscene by comparisson to what we see in video games today. Look at films that are revered as 'amazing', like.... I dunno, the Rocky Horror picture show. THAT has the same age rating as Mass Effect 2. Actually probably a lower one, yet features very graphic content and themes.

    • Lorcan0c

      Okay, okay.

I'm sorry, I just... do not... like... distractions. When I'm trying to do something, I can multi-task, BUT, when the distractions are needless, it makes it so I can't even concentrate. If someone is walking around the room, drumming their fingers, humming or whatever for no reason besides being bored, it makes me clench my fists in rage and want to yell at them. It's just one of those little gripes of mine.... because when I'm typing, I'm TRYING to put my thoughts to words, and that becomes very bloody difficult when someone is needlessly diverting my attention to their meaningless bullshit and making me loose my train of thought...

Look, the point I'm trying to make is, you can have romances without delving into material that is erotic for the sake of being erotic, however, HOWEVER.... they can't use the excuse like "Oh, we're so awesome and moral we'll never show bare nude flesh so the parents won't bitch at us!" Yeah, even though you constantly show off characters' bodies in casual conversation scenes and even combat. That's called being a bloody tease about it. I mean I can see The Witcher's approach to these scenes is unusual, but hey, at least they're not scurrying around the issue and are outright showing nudity. I mean I clicked the first URL. This is a Succubus. Aka, a demoness whose sole desire is sex and lust. Do you really expect them to be fuly clothed? No, they'd be like that. This clearly isn't a romantic thing, it's just "Hey, you want to bang the demon? Go ahead." Because... yeah, why not? ><

The point is, there's nothing BAD about showing nudity and graphic scenes in games, if it fits within the context of the universe or setting of the game. If it makes sense, yeah, throw it in there if you feel like it. But if it's like FFX-2 where it's just putting characters in trashy outfits for no reason, no, that's fanservice and is annoying.

As a result, due to the scrutiny by parents and people who ignore labels on games, ALL forms of graphic content are deemed as innapropriate in video games, which it clearly should not be.

Well, yeah. You did come off as raging at me. When I was just stating my opinion which was quite relevant.

My point is.... erh, this is hard to put to words... basically what I mean is... oh for fuck's sake, no, I can't. There are too many goddam distractions here to even form a sentence! My brother won't sit the fuck down and keeps walking around the room making it fucking impossible to even concentrate. I'll get back to you in a minute, *rages out*

If my opinion is worth anything, I would state for numerous safety reasons that the feeding mechanism is located within the suit and helmet, but honestly it's past 3am so I won't talk at length about it. Basically if the tubes were outside the suit, it would be extremely risky, as said tubes could easily be cut or severed accidentally, exposing the user to foreign bacteria instantly. With an internal mechanism, there is no risk of this happening.

Just no fish in the lakes though, right?

I suppose you'd have to be there. Some aspects of the show are wierd in hindsight... but yeah, good thing I don't have to explain that part.

Yikes well that was taken in the opposite direction I intended that but its okay, I didn't want to get you angry so sorry about that. Seriously am going to step away from my computer though and its probably a good thing because I have a bit of a complex trying to get people to be less angry all the time. Just trying to spread a lil more love and a lil less hate, that's all I meant by that. Still think you should check out that link I think the song is awesome. Gotta unwind long week.... maybe you should try a lil relaxation too.

Apologies for the delay. I was finishing and uploading some art. Been too long since I've had the time to work on it.

Again, not sure how you'd be able to 'see' the Quarian thing. I mean that'd involve taking off the helmet, and it was my understanding that you are very much against that. Correct?

I'm sure they'll find some place that Sevin could go. Like a bio-dome onboard a ship. Examples:

      1. Doctor Who series 5 episode "Flesh and Stone". Inside the Byzantium starliner, there was a forest of trees to supply oxygen to the crew and passengers during extended flight.

      2. The Quarians have to grow their own food and oxygen onboard the larger food supply vessels like Tali'Zorah's birthship, the Neema. I'm guessing there would be a large forest environment onboard one of the decks where organic food is grown and processed.

Dude, don't dumb down Digimon for me. I watched it like crazy as a kid. I know who Angewomon and LadyDeviMon are. Yeah, even for an animé aimed at kids, japanese writing will toss in a girl-on-girl joke >< At least it's not as bad as what the internet has done to Digimon. *shudders*

My job is basically an administrative assistant for a wholesale sporting goods suppli- really I bore myself talking about it. It sounds way too official when I describe my job when in reality I'm more of a professional go-to bitch... even though I'll most likely find the task boring tedious and understimulating I'll get it done with a smile.

Regarding not wanting to start an argument... that's a good way to start reeling things back a bit, actually. And from that I know it sounds stupid but its something you can work on and practice to change your approach. Couldn't help but read what your friend wrote down there (sorry it is public) and I gotta say though it might rile you up sometimes to hear it when someone cares about you as a friend it still takes a lotta balls to say that much and try to make you understand where they're coming from. But the only person who can make that change is you. So if you don't agree no one is telling you or forcing you to feel or believe otherwise... the average person won't even ask you to understand them. But its how you approach an argument that will change how people react to you, and you won't find yourself getting into crap all the time because honestly I get that must feel like shit even though you feel you're in the right. And its frustrating as fuck to constantly be misunderstood which is why you sometimes have to work harder.

I really hope you do get what some of us have told you about the extremity of the comment though, I really do. I mean I will reassert it in my own way coming from a language background that sometimes we don't fully understand how words themselves can be so powerful. just practice trying to see things from another perspective.

And for tonight the thought I will leave you with is that tolerance is not the same as acceptance, and because I really hate how preachy I sound sometimes you should check out this video because I just watched it and think they're awesome and they do cover the Beatles here and there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M smiley13.gif Cheers have a good one

Well logically we wouldn't be able to 'See' this going on, as it takes place within the suit. I imagine some small straw-like pipes would move towards the Quarian's lips and they would drink the protien liquid through them. The nutrient paste would likely be put into the suit via a processor somewhere on their clothing, like a sort of mini-blender that would convert food into the edible paste. But that's just my theory.

Of course Quarians can't take off their suits to go to the bathroom, so Imagine there are waste recycling systems in the suit in rather uncomfortable places.... o.o

Church? Oh no, I doubt the Na'vi would have a very organised religion besides having to attend prayer and certain rituals and festivals. There would hardly be a building for prayer, they probably want to stay as close to nature as they could, being part of their beliefs and all.

Yeah, umm.... woops, bad idea humans. So they take off and nuke the site from orbit? What an original plan XD

As for Starcraft... first the UED ally themselves with Samir Duran, a Terran Ghost Agent who betrayed Arcturus Mengsk and his Dominion and offers to help you overthrow Mengsk. And this almost works, you fight all the way to Korhal and manage to surround Mengsk's ship as he flees. BUT... Jim Raynor and the Hyperion arrive with Protoss forces and teleport Mengsk's forces away at the last second, because they need Mengsk and the dominion to help fight against the new Zerg forces. And this whole thing of course turns out to be a plan masterminded by Kerrigan....

and then Duran betrays you, and turns out to be infested the whole time, acting as Kerrigan's second-in-command. He murders your character's closest friend and flees. The UED take control of the Zerg with use of Psi-Emmiters, but then Kerrigan and the Protoss forces take down the UED to stop this. And THEN Duran betrays KERRIGAN, as it runs out he is a TRIPLE agent, and really working for the Dark Voice (The Supposed Xel'Naga who you see in the SC2 Protoss final mission) and this sets up the whole hybrid story via a secret side mission from Zeratul's perspective, which prompts him to go looking for the Xel'Naga prophecy in SC2.

      Sorry for rambling too....

Well duh, you don't need to explain that to me.

Quarians can only eat food comprised of Dextro-Amino-Protein DNA, so basically only plant life and animal meat grown on Quarian and Turian native worlds. In the case of Quarians, they have to liquify their food into a nutrient paste so that they can eat it without removing their suits.

The Na'vi don't just kill things for the sake of mercy. The reason the Na'vi don't abuse their land and eco-system is because unlike humans, who see themselves as 'above' nature and in command of it, the Na'vi believe that they are as much a part of the life cycle as any other animal or plant life. They know that they have their part to play in the balance of life and won't fuck around with it. They don't overhunt or underhunt any specific animal or drain resources in excess. Scientists have remarked that Pandora has a 'perfect' eco system where every species can thrive and prosper with consistant numbers. Most seem to think 'Eywa' is responsible for maintaining this balance, at least that's what the Na'vi think.

Don't worry about it. Well of course Earth would become overrun. I mean... come on humans. If you mess with a life form evolved to be the perfect killer, it will come back to bite you in the ass. You can't even remotely hope to control something this powerful. The humans from earth, the United Earth Directorate (UED) tried to control the Zerg in Starcraft: Brood War. That... did not work out very well at all. Just take my word for it.

I assumed you were doing some kind of Yautja activity, due to the change in your geographic location on your page. Nice touch, if you don't mind my saying.

Does seem like the Yautja would want to keep their homeworlds hidden. I mean they lack any form of major organised millitary, so if an enemy got pissed off at them, they could hardly retaliate with huge armies. They do seem to share qualities with the QUarians, specifically the having a small population part.

Um, yeah. I've flipped out on people before. You're one to talk. You make remarks like that on a weekly basis. You had to trail back months and months just to find my rare outbursts.

Did I ask you for a bloody apology? Uhh. NO. I don't know what you're even arguing about anymore. What point are you trying to prove? This is what it's like around you. It doesn't matter what you're arguing about after a while. It's just about winning the argument. That's what makes us different. I care more about keeping a friendship intact than about whether I'm right or wrong about something so trivial and meaningless.

      Do you?

    • Lorcan0c

Yeah, I am aware of that. I didn't say you didn't apologise. Nor did I say I was on their side. I was saying your original remarks were wrong and innapropriate. Was the comment I left on the ME3 news post wrong? All I siad was that nobody besides you feels this way about her work, which I'm sure is a correct fact. If anyone else hated her this much, I'd know about it already.

I didn't say having an opinion was criminal behaviour. But saying something that cruel to someone's face is just plain wrong. It will always be wrong. I don't need to apologise to anyone because I haven't wished them dead and said it to their faces. I have nothing to apologise for.

I'm going now, I need to get the bus home. I only hope that you can get your temper under control for the billionth time. I'm your friend yet you constantly attempt to bastardise me and make me appear to be the enemy. I can't take too much more of this kind of behaviour. You have no concept of what loyalty is. If you're angry, be angry. But don't be mad at me goddamit. You bait more flies with honey than with Vinegar. You want me to understand your perspective and sympathise? Try being nice to me. FOR ONCE. You always rage at me for shit that isn't even my fault.

You can flash that list all you want, but it won't change my mind. I don't want any of these people 'dead'. I may find some of them fucking annoying, but not enough to want such a fate on them.

When did I ever talk about any kind of video like that? I don't give a shit about Rebecca black. I think she can't sing for crap, but she's 15 for fuck's sake. She had that life forced on her by external factors like her parents or whatever. I don't want her dead or anything.

Maybe you're the one who should stop and think. I'm the one being kind, tolerant and peaceful. You're the one who started all this by stating that someone deserves to die for immature trivial reasons. I'M the one being nice! Stop changing the subject.

The point is, and this has always been the point. No. I do not agree with your remarks you made on that ME3 news post. I will never agree with those remarks. Because that's not who I am.

    • Lorcan0c

It's not about badmouthing people. It's about decency. She's just one person trying to do her job. Her job is talk to the community. US. You and me, the people who play these games. You don't like what goes on in a video game, take it up with the designers. She's just a representative.

The difference is, Bioware's community managers don't want me dead. I think it's just plain wrong to want such a terrible fate to befall someone just for doing their job.

I am not kidding myself. I have no desire to kill anyone. Because I'm a kind person, I enjoy cooperation and harmony. Why do you think I watch MLP so bloody much? I'm nice. I'm tolerant and understanding. I do NOT want anyone dead over such stupid trivial matters.

ME3 will be awesome. End of. Being cruel to someone for the sake of a video game, a form of entertainment, is not right in my mind.

Have I ever said a negative thing about the people who work at Bioware? No. I don't even hate the guy who designed that Turian. Do I like the design? Fuck no. But whatever. Live and let live.

    • Lorcan0c

Yes. I'm aware of that. I know what you mean. And I've made this clear. I do not agree with what you said. I will never agree with what you said. Wishing a person dead for what someone else does is wrong. Period.

She didn't draw the fucking female Turian design. She was just saying it appears in the comic.
