Duders, it's totally 2012. It's been a year and a half since I last visited Rooster Teeth. It's two words now? I'm getting distracted. Remember in 2010 when I said I was one of the most online members on the site and would be forever? Yeah, so, I TOTALLY was wrong. But hey, whatever man, right?

I can't promise I'll keep checking this thing, but hey, I help run MNBarCraft now. You should stop out to the New Hope Cinema Grill on Sunday. It's in New Hope. It's a Cinema Grill. StarCraft. Alright? Alright. That being said, I should get back to work... HAH, that was funny. That picture of me is SUPER old... can I be bothered to change it?

      Ducky.

Did you know I am STILL the 8th Most Online Member on RoosterTeeth, and probably will be forever? Super cool.

That being said, check in. I might actually check back someday too. Wish I had a reason to, but I don't.

    • A Rooster Teeth Profile Update

Hey there Rooster Teeth watchers. It's December 1st, so I thought I would come and check in with you all to see how you are doing, and to update you on what is going on in my life.

As you can see, I've moved on from the Rooster Teeth website. It's not that I don't like this site anymore, but since most of my friends have also moved on, there aren't many more reasons to continue visiting. And, not to say that the Red vs. Blue series has gone bad, but the show is lacking in something nowadays that just doesn't grab my interest as much as it used to. Therefore, I've moved on to other adventures.

Quick life update for you all; still going to school, starting a new quarter in a week; still working that crazy 4 AM shift at Target; and now, as you can see by my picture, I have a lady friend. She's still just a lady friend and nothing more yet, just because we haven't been out enough times, but, she makes me very happy. Otherwise, eat, sleep, video games and working my ass off continues to run my life.

You can find me at a lot of places on the web now if you want to continue to keep up:

I'm sure that there's more, but, these are the sites that I primarily use, so, feel free to follow me, subscribe to them, add me, etc. on each of them. I'd like to thank all of my friends (and those random people out there) who read this, and I hope that you all are doing well. It's been a blast, and it's good to see you all!

I just noticed when I saw that the latest episode was released for Sponsors... my Sponsorship expired. I knew I didn't have auto-renew on. Right now, I'm not sure if the budget allows for a new Sponsorship, and sadly, I really don't use the site much, but, hmmm. I do still kind of support Rooster Teeth though, so, it's hard to leave. And I still watch the videos and all. But, yeah.

      Random observation FTW.

The World Wide Web: a constant, ever-changing network of websites, trying to outdo all of the others. But let's be completely honest, there eventually is a point where it's just gone too far. Simple CAN be good too, but I think this new redesign is a mix of simple and advanced in each of the most terrible ways possible. Let's take a look at the most major changes and work from there.

The website seems to be squished into the center, cutting off at the edges and just disappearing into some sort of gradient pattern which happens to be quite unappealing to the eye. I've always used the Rooster Teeth version of the website because it was the most unbiased version, and provided me with good colors, but even looking at the Red vs. Blue version, I don't think I could look at that for too long either.

Secondly, the new menu bar is terrible. I understand that most people use Internet Explorer or Firefox, but with the increasing amount of browsers out there, you have to try and make things work cross browser. I use Opera, and when I mouse over these new ugly boxes which represent the new menu bar, the options fade out into nothing, and I have to roll over them, which is a crapshoot, just to be able to see what the options are. Also, if you scroll downwards, the menu bar follows you, which is very unique and Web 9.0 looking, but it's functionality seems useless to me. I don't want a menu bar following me around wherever I go, especially when I can't get it to work right as it is.

Finally, the user bar on the bottom which randomly changes users once every second is useless and unimportant, not to mention annoying to my browser as it has to load each and every different avatar every time it changes to another user. I don't see anyone using that for any type of good uses.

Overall, this new design is the tip of the iceberg. Obviously, neither myself, nor many of the people who I follow, have been using this site much anymore due to us moving on to bigger things, but this is succeeding in chasing me away even more. I love the videos that Rooster Teeth makes, and always will, but using their site may come to an end for me, sooner than later at this point. It's a shame, but this "moving towards the future" crap has got to stop.

Oh, and honestly, I miss the day where we got Mod Points. Without that, this site is just another social networking fansite.

      This would be Journal 580.

It's been a long ride here on RoosterTeeth.com. Four years and two months of membership. I still consider this my first home on the internet. I've been through a lot here, and this used to be the only website I would post on. There's a lot of my story that only resides here.

I watch 49 users, and even though I may not post here, or comment on almost anyone's Journals, I read every single one of them, from top to bottom. This is the ONLY website in which I am logged in 24/7, and keep up to the SECOND with what everyone is doing.

We've been through a lot of changes here on RoosterTeeth.com, one of the most notable being the change of Mod Points, one of which I still miss. In my days of being here, I've given out 2,287 Mod Points. Now those were the days, and I miss them greatly, as I thought they added a lot for the site.

We've had eight Red vs. Blue Minnesota events, and I've met more awesome friends than I could have ever imagined doing from just a simple website. A good number of them I still talk to, or try to, on a regular basis, and will hopefully continue to for time to come.

Why am I posting such oddness? Well, you and I both know that, now that I have my OWN website, which I try and push every possible second that I'm here, I still appriciate everything that everyone does here on RT. And, it's official, I spend WAY too much time here.

Yes, I am now on the "Most Online Members" list. I've officially been online for almost two years now, and I plan on hitting, and passing that mark in the next few months.

So, thank you everyone, for being a part of my life, even if I've just met you from another state, or even another country altogether. And to everyone who is possibly checking out my profile because you saw that ugly mug of mine sitting on the Community Stats page, leave me a comment, get to know me, make a new friend. You never know what could happen.

Welcome to Currently Playing, a weekly Journal update exclusively on Roosterteeth.com, brought to you by the author and editor of the Weasel Report!

This week was filled with an interesting turn of events that led me to play on my PlayStation 3 more than I have for the past few weeks. Even though, of course, I'd been playing some of my backlogged games that I finally opened last week, ever since last Tuesday, I haven't even touched one of them, sad to say. But that's a-ok, because I got myself back into Killzone 2 (PS3)!

Last week, GameSpot had a Community Game Night, in which a good 30 of us all got together for a full evening of nothing but multiplayer killing and bloodshed. It was an awesome time, and in leiu of it, I created a new Clan called "Helghan Prevails". If you've ever seen V for Vendetta, then you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I even made a whole motto for it and everything!

Ever since then, I've just been itching with my trigger finger to play it. It's been really fun, and I made a lot of new friends from the event, so I have a lot more people to play with now. They even took an official video of it which I'll link here, and I'm in it A LOT. I was playing with Kevin VanOrd much of the time, so you're able to hear my voice and everything. And the final quote of the video was mine as well. Suffice it to say, it's a good vid! Check out the Killzone 2 - GameSpot Game Night Gameplay Movie at that link right there.

Also on the PS3 front, thanks to my really good friend Kyle, who I hung out with on Tuesday as well, I've decided to take my hands into Hard Mode of Rock Band (PS3), which I must say, I'm not TERRIBLE at. I've gotten a few five stars, mostly four stars, and recently more three stars than I've wanted, but, hey, the songs are supposed to get harder the farther you go, right?

As Sphynx21 once said... "Why are there five buttons when i only have four fingers?"

To finish things off, I've gotten myself back deeper into EVE Online (PC) AGAIN, which isn't a bad thing, but, MMOs are time consuming. None the less, I have a KICK-ASS battleship, and I just got the ISK to outfit it to be very hard to hurt, so I'm quite excited to blow some stuff up! Come join me! I'm giving out special extended trials if you want one! Comment it up! And the reason why this is being posted so late(-ish) in the day is because I was enjoying the sixth anniversary of a popular in-game lottery which did it's drawing today. Took three hours, but was a ton of fun to participate in, so I couldn't get away!

Once again, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, need me to tell you how a game is, etc., please don't hesitate to leave a comment here! Thanks for reading everyone... and get ready, E3 is around the corner... and my website will be COMPLETELY REVAMPED for it, as I will be posting DAILY!! Stay tuned!
