It's that time of the year again. Man, time flies while you're having.. well, whatever you're having.
My year got a rough start, had some health issues and thankfully work let me do less hours because of them. In february, I had some money saved up and my friend also had money and some free time so off to London we went! We had a blast, walked our legs off every single day and ate way too many cupcakes (so it was a good thing we walked a lot..). Saw Boosher on my birthday! We went to Camden and had a look around at all the cool and weird stuff. We had a lovely time and I miss my little yum-yum.
Lost my phone in our last day in London, some stranger found it and took it to the Victoria Stations lost and found. After a shit ton of paperwork and some money, they sent it back to me a month after I lost it. So that was a fun thing to do.
The episode of a well known finnish standup comedians new series about finnish grill places aired, and me and my friend we're in it. So we're practically celebrities!
Spring was work as usual, some roller derby and a few dates (I know, me on a date? I was as surprised as you are). Pretty fun, until they decided to just not text me back anymore. Oh well. I participated in a Colour run with some derby people! That was so much fun! I got caked in paint, I found some green paint in my ear two days after the event..
In the summer I spent my days off on the beach or coffee shops catching up on my reading. And trying (and failing) to get a tan. I'm just too finnish for tanning. Went to a friend's wedding and caught the bouquet! Well, actually dived to a nearby bush to get the bouquet and ruined my white high heels. I'm not competitive, you're competitive.
Also had two weeks of summer vacation, which I havent had in years, so that was awesome. Went to Pärnu, Estonia with my grandparents. Beautiful little beachside town.
In the fall it was pretty much just working and walking around catching all the pokemans. Someday I will catch 'em all. Also managed to get tickets for me and my friend to see Green Day in Stockholm in january! So excited!
Got to see my goddaughter and spent time with her while her parents we're out partying. She's just the cutest and wanted to do everything with me.
Spent Christmas mostly working. We had a great team at work so it was actually pretty fun. Got some gifts from Santa, including a shit ton of chocolate and a curling iron. Yay.
Also got the news that work is no longer gonna need my services, so after january 15th I'm gonna be unemployed. Which sucks since I've been working there for 3,5 years by now.
And now it's New Years Eve again. I have no plans, might go see the fireworks at midnight and spent the rest of the time the way I usually spend my evenings: netflix and tea. I guess my year wasn't as shitty I though it was.
Hope you all had a great year and I hope your next year will be even better!
