    • Hey look an update

      psychomaiko

Just because some people were telling me to update, I'll now post the last few weeks in a descriptive way as possible

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth yanked/ drilled early August, and, truthfully it wasn't that bad. It hurt for the first few hours, but even without the pills, I did not feel excruciating pain! The worst part was seeing the doctor showing me my teeth fragments while his glove was painted in my own red blood!
School sucks. Honors Physics, Calculus, and AP Gov are really tough classes, but I got the easy English class, and my sleep class, japanese, too. However within the first week, I was given a lab report, 2 essays, one in class, and one 14 page essay, and a calc test. Oh SHIEST!

The cool part, My host friend Yu from Japan is staying at my house for this Labor Day Weekend! She is visiting the US for a month, and she will soon go to Washington State for businesses that I won't ask her. hahah. Anyways, it's a coincidence that she's coming by on my birthday weekend, which happens to be TODAY! Hurray! She gave me a T-shirt from Japan, too bad it's a bit small, and a few folders. Not much, but she was the first to greet me happy birthday, and she's the only one currently to give me a present.

hahahah Those who already feel jealous from my trip to Jpana, are probably feeling jealous even more. hhahha.. Pics soon to come, as soon as I get them developed

My host familiy's stairs. I tripped at least 5 times going up and twice more going down.

Compact streets, crazy school girls that fold their skirts up to their kooch, and their crazy commercials (I saw a music video on kikoman soy sauce) Oh yea. And their anime drawing skills are amazing!

      ayaandyuki.jpg
May be hard to see, but 2 different drawings done by 2 ppl in less than 2 minutes.

Well that's it for pics. The other ones I have have little to no revelance, so I didn't scan them ha. But if you still want to see more, just message me or something. Maybe I'll get back to you.[

    • Back from Japan and with pics!

Back from Japan, and it was loads of fun! It felt a bit weird at first: Getting used to the humidity, the jetlag, and the new launguage barrier! For the first week, the class and I went to school with the other high schoolers there, and we went sightseeing around Inuyama.

My host family was very nice. I consider myself lucky because my host dad visited the US twice, so he knows some English, and as for my host friend; not only did she take English for 7 years, but she was really cute. My host mom is always busy. Because the dad left for business on the weekdays, the mom had to take care of the house. She also cooked all 3 meals, cleaned the house, bought food for dinner and the next day, and drove me to the station every single day. I was a bit nervous at first, but I realized playing pictionary and charades to find out what we were saying was pretty fun. And they also know how to play volleyball, so it was cool being able to talk about that

The high school kids there were crazy! They have so much energy, and they horse around so much. They'll start throwing stuff around the classroom, or start typing on their cellphones (which BTW are so much better than American phones. Especially the PC/phone one I saw at Harajuku.). However, even though they are extremely hyper, they lack refinement in their activities. I saw the guys trying to dog paddle across the swimming pool, and we beat them in basketball. O__O Hurray for earth! I didn't like the fact that I had to make a speech to the entire student body though. I hate public speaking. My body numbs and my breathing becomes a challenge.

Near the end of each day that week, we visited huge temples, and even got to hear a monk recite a prayer for us! (Too bad we had to sit seiza TToTT). Then we saw how Japanese people fish. They wrap a rope around a certain bird's neck. Then the bird snatches fish under the water, and then a person drags the bird out of the water. The bird then regurgitates the fish, and voila! It rained most of the time so I had to carry an umbrella the whole time _ _'''. I don’t like umbrellas.

On Friday, the entire school went to the World Expo. The World Expo only occurs once every 4 years, and we were lucky enough to be there when it was in Japan!(@ w @); The park was huge, and nearly every nation had a booth. I liked China’s and Italy’s booth the best. Not only because those were the few we visited, but because China had a group of musicians play some weird but cool instruments, and Italy had a chocolate car! It was really hot though, and there was a lot of walking, but I need the excersise.

2nd week. We stayed at a Buddhist temple for 3 days at Tokyo. It was cool for the most part. It was quiet, the food was delicious, but I still hated the public bath part! ><!! The guys ended up taking turns using the bath, and it took a while for all of us to finish. +o+. We went to several temples in Kyoto. Especially Kiyomizu Temple. I got to drink from the 3 springs, and try the love stone walk thingy….. Then there was Nara park with all the deer, and I got to climb through the hole that is the exact size as the Buddha’s statue’s nostril, and if you climb through it you get good luck! ({} o {});" gasp!

From there we went to Akihabara, Shibuya, and Harajuku! There were so many anime posters at Akihabara, and anime stores were found every 20 feet. There were also a ton of video game stores and arcades, but it was a shame that we only stayed there for 2 hours. Otherwise, I would stay there for another 3 days. At Shibuya, I got to walk through the terminal, and I swear it really is the busiest crosswalk in the world! You could easily get lost if you are traveling in a large group. Of course I was a bit paranoid at the area and checked my pockets every 20 seconds. My favorite place in Tokyo though was Harajuku because of the Harajuku girls! Hahaha. I am a weirdo because I think the dresses they wear are awesome and hot!!!

Ok that’s it for the summary, but I don’t’ feel like going into detail about my experience. There is so much to do there. I wish I stayed for another week or 2. Seriously. Anyways, if you have questions to ask me, just send me a message or IM me. XD!

New layout. Shocked me a bit, but I think I know what's going on. HMM.

Anyways. For anime fans check out Kino's Journey. It may look like a kid's anime, but if you're into weird no-sense anime and just want something to watch, like me, take a look at it.

Basically it's a bout a traveller named Kino (Kino's a girl by the way. Yea confused me too), and she constantly travels the world with her talking motorrad Hermes. On their journey, the two cross by several towns, each with their own unique culture: like a town that constantly worries about the end of the world, or a town that is locked in depression. She has a rule where she only stays at one place for 3 days. I only saw the first set, but I was so intrigued by it, I'm gonna see the rest.

      Nope.
I highly doubt that there are any superviesed or biolized Elfen Lied ringtones yet.
I can give you any Elfen Lied music you want for you actual computer, but no such ring tone luck.
Give it about two more years to develop and if it really hits the tops maybe some one up there will consider it.
However, as of today or tomarrow: not so much.

(it's hard to conva sarcasim whith black text, however i'm not trying to sound mean. I'm just saying that there probably arn't any out there as of yet.)

=/ kanako is crazy amazing yes, but i wouldn't call her a goth. hehe i really analyzed the anime and quite frankely i think it's good that she was introduced at the end because all the development made in those three episodes told us all we needed to know. that's one of my favorite things about the series; how well they can develop characters.

Just a heads up, psychomaiko does not mean I am a psycho geisha ok? For those who dont' know Japanese, a "maiko" is a rank of a geisha, or those that entertain the businessmen. I picked the word "maiko" because it ryhmes with psycho, and it resembles my first name rather well
